The skeptic in me sees this (below) and I wonder whether King Felix has simply replaced one wolf with another in charge of the hen house.

Unfortunately, not being in country and on another continent. We are separated from the country's general common knowledge of what's really happening and can only rely on research and the opinions of those within the country. So far from what I've seen on X, the feedback seems to be that being a businessman and also from the actual industry too is a good fit. Most seem happy.

Looking at his 'history', he has his education from a Belgium university and has worked & lived in Europe for many years. So having had his European grounding for much of his life, it would not be a stretch of the imagination for him to have a more European mindset towards China than his dirty bribe loving past compatriots, also one would imagine he has an unconscious preference towards western/European business partnerships due to his understanding of their adherence to law (& general less fuckwittery).

The skeptic is a well-fed fucker however, thanks to the gross over-stuffing the DRC Government has been ramming down that poor (now) morbidly obese bastards throat over the last few years.

On another note I would recommend AVZ investors invest in a defibrillator for when the good news finally comes in.

Skip the defibrillator, they'll need adrenaline to revive me following the night out I'll have if we get out of this mess.

I guess they are paying in installments of $1.54 annually, over two years. Handy for tax purposes I suppose. I see he didn't bother with AUD conversion and is talking USD ;)

Sounds familiar, something to do with minus DRC tax brings us to the All time high SP.

Was probably meant to be a minimum of double the last close price of $0.78 = $1.56

Probably the value Zijin + Cominiere had their damages claim against AVZ set at 15% of Dathcom Valueing AVZ's holding at :

• whilst no substantive quantification as to the merits and the quantum of the damages claim is provided in the Request, it appears on face value that the amount of the damages claims is based on Jin Cheng holding a 15% interest and Cominière a 10% interest in Dathcom, thus suggesting that the Claimants are valuing the entirety of the Manono Project at US$5.66 billion;

Yeah I was just thinking logically about getting to that number, not going to provide commentary about the merits of it at this point though...

Surprised they're waiting till tomorrow to announce funding.

Surely settled/agreed by now?

Oh well it's a win win, we either get funding to continue or we get put out of our misery.
Hopefully they don't want too much of our ICSID payout in return if it goes through! I'm sure they've got us by the balls.

Sorry to be a wet blanket but I just noticed that 4029 & 4030 are now both marked as "To be forfeited due to non payment" on the CAMI website.

I'm only surprised that it didn't happen sooner. The shitshow continues.
