AVZ Discussion 2022

Last response from Graeme yesterday.

Sounds they are playing chicken and Nigel is all in that the DRC flinches first

Sounds like we'll get their decision soon. Settlement or full litigation.

wombat , why would you think we need a capital raise ? just to stay in the game ? but yes it was an odd response like talking to my 20 year old never a straight answer
Could need a CR if Locke don't come to the party . I'm just thinking out loud . Open to interpretation . Graeme could have responded to that post after 20 stubbies for all I know . Management have been loose with some of their comments in the past . Like what they've said meant SFA . IMO

I thought it was an odd response from Graeme .Does it imply we are in discussions with the ASX ? I can only think of 2 reasons for trading again . Firstly we have reached an outcome with the DRC . Secondly we need to do a CR .
He wouldn't have said the thing about DRC gov if there was an outcome in sight which means maybe possible CR? But CR only needed if locke don't come through. Could be just backup planning.

I thought we were in suspension because we couldn't comply with listing rules because of the challenges to our ownership of the Manono project.
We aren't in voluntary suspension anymore.
I don't see how we relist without the legal stuff being resolved either in the courts or by a deal being struck.

The lesson here is , avoid going down the ICSID rat hole . All it does is make lawyers and Nigel and co richer (salaries). Share holders picking up peanuts (if their lucky ) at end of a 4 to 5 years shit fight that ends in a negotiated settlement anyway on DRC terms when AVZ realise it's that or nothing . Obviously paid out by Chinese brown paper bags who have by this time developed the mine .

This has to be sorted now . Hopefully Nigel is close . No room for egos .
Agree mate..nearly like...well..we did everything..whilst on full salary..then blame the situation

Graemes answer can be assumed that a solution still seems far away. Really, I want to know what our BOD is doing the whole time if there are no talks between AVZ and DRC Officials. What to work on if there are no steps ahead? Maybe increase the pressure to make issues more officials and public. DRC seems to give a fuck to find a conclusion.

I want to know what the CPs are/would be for the Liquidity Facility of Locke.

What was AVZ''s other option??

Just let the Chinese steal it? I don't believe there is a middle ground. I believe it's china's goal to secure and control the entire critical mineral chain.
If they control enough of the resource they can dictate and manipulate the critical mineral price as they see fit.

IMO the only way we win is if the west including the USA want the resource more and are willing to pay for it/ provide more infrastructure.

Once again IMO this is a much bigger geopolitical game than just AVZ vs DRC.

And if Trump gets in this may also change the US approach to evs as well?

Management comment on Twitter reads like a fucking teenage pop star wannabe. Blaming everyone else for their record not going to number 1! Nigel and the team are responsible for outcome and then posting on Twitter to say fingers crossed they pay attention to the ISCD. What a laugh. What they are paid one would assume there are actual relationships in place with the government and a decent legal background among the board. But looks like they are a bunch of geologists with eyes to big for their ambitions. I wonder how many of them have read heart of darkness or the many lesser known stories of the Congo, this is not a new thing for this country. They have been fucking themselves over since the Belgians rolled up to steal their rubber!

I’m not excusing anyone because of this, I’m suggesting that they should have known full fucking well how much this was on tender hooks and they should have done much much better to ensure we are not here being gang fucked by the Chinese and the DRC. Lazy compliance has cost us all our money. I’ll get a lot of hate for this from those who think Nigel is somehow a better man who’s been hard done by. He’s responsible, he’s led us to this situation. And he and the ASX need to fucking answer for it!

Mate,

Dont get your nickers in a knot - it is not over until the fat lady sings. Lets see how we go with the ICC Rulings that are due out.

Its easy to sit on the sidelines and throw stones - If you think that you have better strategies than the existing Board you could have run for a Board position.

I am behind the Board. They have done exceptionally well considering that we are still in the game.

Regards,

SilentOne

I appreciate the comment yes knickers certainly in a twist. Interesting though. “Wait till the icc”. What happens when that rules in Our favour and they say. “Let’s hope DRC government pay attention”. Is that when I’m allowed to get my knickers in a knot? Or do I wait until after they dump all our money on salaries and drilling of zinjin deposit?

"Graeme’s messages above lead me to the conclusion that avz’ litigation strategy was misguided and they should’ve found a middle ground 2 years ago to save our project plus years of extreme stress? Not sure if they were meant to public domain but it does not fill me with confidence ."

"Ah wouldn't it be nice if life was so simple Tim.... our litigation was to protect the asset so no doubt if we hadn't done this you would be blaming us for losing the asset by now."

In other news, I see where the Manono locals have gone ballistic when Zijin shortened the rope they use to collect water.

It didn't go down well.
