I'm more pleased with the huge number still in suffering. No doubt linked to the Chinese $$ behind MMGASo shorters have been bailing out?
Bit of a peak in April at 4.2% or approx 148m shares
Now sitting at around 3.34% or approx 118m shares
Anyone remember how many shares were bought in when we got ASX 200? Because they also shorted just as many.So shorters have been bailing out?

There was around 230m shares bought in the post trade auction on rebalance day. Not all of them were ASX200/300 buys but most would have been. Some would have been added later too. That big spike in the shorts was at the same time so would have been mostly instos hedging. I reckon a good chunk of the 30m closed short positions have just been firms returning shares they lent themselves for the hedge.Anyone remember how many shares were bought in when we got ASX 200? Yep March ASX 200 rebalancing. I'm hoping that second kick up in the shorts is our Chinese palsThere was around 230m shares bought in the post trade auction on rebalance day. I think it was near to 90/95mill shorts were put on, on entry to ASX200 The chart seems to confirm thatThere was around 230m shares bought in the post trade auction on rebalance day. So my question to everyone is. What happens if the MMGA get up on election day? What happens after that? Surely 3 new board members can't outweigh the rest. The reason I ask is because of this sinking feeling I have that this has all been a plan and the likes of CATH, lithium plus, hayyou(whatever) and yibin tiyani have all been planning to join forces to take over.
But would that stop AVZ moving forward? Provided the icc and everything works out and this MOU comes out and the government gives us the mining permit. It shouldn't really matter what inside info they are giving out, all the info will be about building the plant and mining I would think. The real issue is if even 1 MMGA crook gets a seat on the board they will be privy to information that will then go DIRECTLY back to their shadowy Chinese masters
THAT in my opinion is the biggest issue
Sure they might get voted down in a decision at board level (if they make it on) but it's the information they would use and pass onto external parties that would be like an absolute cancer to AVZ that is of major oncern

Might not stop AVZ moving forward but if you think those MMGA pricks and their Chinese backers are making life hard now imagine the extent of absolute shitfuckery they could come up with and execute when they have an insider giving them all the info on AVZ's operations and intentions and plansBut would that stop AVZ moving forward? Radar working nicely there Bags
No troll here mate. I'm rusted on AVZ fan. Got a lot of shares riding in this and just getting a little stress that's all. No harm in thinking about every angle. I mean shit, who thought we'd be here when we bought in years and years ago?
I go by the same name over on hot shitter and you'll see I've been there for a long time and always been a positive shareholder in the companyNo troll here mate. I'm rusted on AVZ fan. Am I reading this wrong?? Is this the Minister of Mines officially confirming that as of October our licence has been stripped and given to Cominiere? For fucks sake!Only interesting part of the mmga shit is this document.
After it the MoM ordered the extension for 5 years for cominiere until 2027. The favorable decision from cami have been stopped and the transformation from a PR in a PE have been faded this month. Looks like the DRC is doing again the opposite they said to the company. I have no idea how this shit is matching with a MoU and pathing to ML. Any explanation anyone?

MMGA need every vote to go their way. Theoretically if they have the numbers to get 1 of their goons elected they have the numbers to win them all. They're going for a 3 - 2 majority imoThe real issue is if even 1 MMGA crook gets a seat on the board they will be privy to information that will then go DIRECTLY back to their shadowy Chinese masters
