AVZ Discussion 2022

Go AVZ!
Great point. I was thinking what's the worst one or 2 votes can do.

There must be another hand the board can play if 1 happens to get on to act as a little messenger boy. Can they exclude board members from certain information?
Not sure.....but probably not

That's why it's so important to make sure none of the MMGA stooges get anywhere near the board.....not one.......fullstop

Sorry to reply to myself but I think it's important to remember that the appointments of Casta Tungaraza, Serge Ngandu and now Her Excellency Salome T. Sijaona are only "until" the AGM

My understanding is all three will be standing for "re-election" to the board come the November AGM

I'm pretty sure AVZ will make this clear in their formal communication
Retro covered it well here..

Yes the AVZ board has recently had some excellent appointments

Casta Tungaraza, Serge Ngandu and now Her Excellency Salome T. Sijaona

All well credentialled and very positive for AVZ in my opinion

You would think they would be aligned with the current board and give them some numbers when deciding on matters

The last thing anyone wants now is a stupid and divisive element from MMGA getting a seat at the table in the upcoming elections

All that would do is create a massive rift in the board, disunity in direction for AVZ and be incredibly counter-productive

Vote NO to MMGA ....absolutely, purely, self interested disruptors IMO
Yeah, if even one of the MMAGgots gets in there, they have a mole in the inside (again) and there will be a new (old) source of leaks and the rot will start again.

So what's the go with board can they informally keep crucial stuff from the mole Director I wonder (off books of course) - I guess the only positive is at least they now know Peter is corrupt and leaking like a siv

Yep. A ship can sink with only one hole, but it will sink faster with a few holes.

Remind me again, what kind of holes are the MMGA crew?

What amazes me is why do we need 9 (?) board members ........just adds to the running costs.
Can we operate with say six.....or is it in the company rules.
Sorry for the dumb questions......

Don't "need" 9 but I think the constitution states there can be a "maximum" of 9

The board has certainly operated with less than 9 to this point and may still operate with less than 9 after the AGM depending on whether additional nominees actually get the required votes or not

At a time of crisis when austerity measures rather than bonuses and additional salaries would seem wise, it is odd that they are hiring.

Taking the positive view, they wouldn't be doing this unless they had reasonable expectations of progress in the near term.

Taking the negative view, well they've had expectations before... (🍾 pop!)

Are they not hiring to thwart these MMGA grubs ? Or at least one of the reasons .

Yes true.

I thought you could simply use the "cast of thousands" tactic if bouncing them was the aim, but I guess deploying all possible means of defence is warranted.

Looks like someone has Tommy on a leash finally.

"Last February, The Australian Financial Review reported that AVZ’s chief executive, Nigel Ferguson, authorised the $US1 million payment in June 2022 to businessman and consultant, Marius Mihigo, to help it obtain a mining licence.

“There was a $US1 million payment,” said Mr Huljich. “I voiced very severe concerns about that and I was of the view it wasn’t right for the company and then I was presented with a section 249d notice, which made an allegation I was conflicted. So, I resigned to prevent division on the board and a fight among shareholders, as I didn’t consider that in the best interests of the company.”

Huljich makes it sound like he fell on his sword. Trying to make himself out as an honourable man

I’ve put enough information here to think about, now I’ve got better fucken things to do today.
As I said before our BoD are not stupid and the best advice to give some of the schoolboys here is leave them to do their job.

And Huljich doesn’t mention the millions of shares he’s been offered by the Chinese behind him trying to roll the BOD

The lowest of lowlifes scum have really made themselves known with this MMGA strategy and their little turd mate

Not too mention that short seller boatman
…. What’s his name again, I’ll look it up and edit it in

By the way, that’s not me who gave @geo_au the ‘like’ for his comment…. I might get frustrated and tell people what I think of them from time to time, but I’ll generally name who I’m referring to and don’t feel the need to back up someone else calling people stupid

Just so you know @geo_au don’t include me when you are calling people names

Dear Peter does like playing with his doodah, probably the reason why he keeps on forgetting his exact birthday. 🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥
Who would trust that thief with your money??

And Tommy??????
He contacted the company for comments, ffs the idiot has a block of concrete in front of that empty criminal head, that is painfully obvious.
The company probably would have liked to say seeya in court wanker.

Huljich is never going to give a balanced view, that's the job of a professional journalist. AFR provides a very poor example of journalistic integrity. When will AVZ get the right to respond?
Edit: Agreed - hopefully in a court with a multi million dollar law suit against AFR
