I agree. Also why would they take the job. They both have plenty of accomplishment, I’m sure they would have other options and better opportunities if avz was going no where.

I’m curious how she was chosen as a director? Was it avz that approached her ? Or could the Australian government have something to do with it, who knows, maybe government have some direct involvement or at least showing more support. She seems like a big name to show up to a project tangled in legal battles. One of which that is against drc government.

In addition, to be eligible for a mining permit, companies are obliged to either form a joint venture with a state-owned company (such as Gécamines) that already holds the necessary permits, or freely assign a mandatory 10 per cent stake of its share capital to the DRC.
