Spurious until you end up in a 15 month and counting suspensionBoD would be all over it.
Just because we don't know the details, doesn't mean we need to worry about it.
There's a fuck ton of things we don't know the details about that could ruin operations if they weren't sorted in our favor.
They are corrupt to the core and will never give up. Even if they end up 0% of Manono they will forever attempt to fuck up our progress through:
It’s in their DNA - they will not stop. Ever.
- Power plant - delays, “unexpected” outages, outrageous power costs
- Administrative - helping local officials to “find“ problems with the hundreds of things we’ll need to get done to get a mine and plant operational, be it infrastructure, health and safety, environmental, whatever
- Concocting stories to set the locals against us (remember the attacks on our vehicles and equipment about a year back?)
- Direct and indirect physical disruption to plant and equipment
- Disruption near access points and transport facilities to stop or slow equipment and personnel in, or getting product out.

The population in this area (Manono) is minimal
And how many could afford power, 10% ? At least AVZ would be offering to the people of Manono the best deal imo if in control of power station.300,000 - that's as many as Hobart.
Does anyone know if there's any industry at all in Manono? Farms I'm guessing.
For tin?Artisanal mining

Lithium Bonanza: China Battles West for Raw Material of the Future
The Democratic Republic of the Congo is home to perhaps the largest lithium deposit in the world. China is eagerly trying to get its hands on the valuable resource, but the concession is controlled by an Australian company. Work-hungry locals are hoping the conflict will soon be resolved.www.spiegel.de
Ah that was the very article I was referring to a couple posts back. It's quite comprehensive and well put together.Artisanal mining

Thanks for that article - it was pretty good except that it downplayed the naked greed and corruption form our Chinese mates, including #FuckZijin.Ah that was the very article I was referring to a couple posts back. It's quite comprehensive and well put together.
I'm sure AVZ would well afford to pay these artisinal miners a few dolars a day just to take out the garbage, sweep the steps, ect. Just to clear them out of the area without upsetting the people.
Just heartbreaking that's the best these people can get for diggign up dirt and standing in water for 10 hours a day... with their 6 children in tow!
Hope it is. El Presidento had him dragged in to tell him in no uncertain terms that all road blocks for Manono and Dathcom are to cease and to get the fuck on with itHope that's not a recent photo.
The C--T was just promoted by Presidential Order . Recent Official photo is my guess . Followed by a big dinner and a chit chat over a few whiskeys .Hope it is. At least in my head that’s what would of been said
Cadastre has spoken with AVZ, Cominiere, Anser (Electrical Dept.) and a meeting organised by the IGF with the people of MoP.
I don't know if it spoke with Dathomir, or Zijin.
I would say on the basis of these discussions a way forward will be developed.
What will that be?
I would say there will be more discussions following.
As Cadastre CEO has said he works under direction of MoM, which is essentially El Presidente.
After everything is signed and sealed (ML), BoD will announce that fact, but not the progress on the court cases.
Progress of court cases will be discussed after they have been finalised, or if delayed.
