Yes it's true. ZIJIN pointing out that AVZ already can't properly manage an exploration program. They have been frivolously wasting money on things like quality housing for workers, roads, and community engagement. How can a company so wasteful be expected to build a mine? From that video it sounds like the current blockage - no doubt reinforced by Zijin and their DRC tools - is that FT still isn't convinced we have the ability to pull the project off, and may still view us as speculators. So hopefully that's what NF and co are trying to fix.
ZIJIN simply pointing out that they are much more financially prudent and will build the mine without any of that stuff. In fact, they're so financially prudent they will save even more money by not properly paying local workers and by selling the product at a discount to Chinese buyers so they pay less local tax. Also don't forget; human rights abuses is directly proportional to mining ability so Zijin for sure best choice.
