Mate I’m with you, but I’m very sure that nothing will get to the desk of some government guy.
Twitter is different, a lot congolese are registered there and I don’t believe anyone of them is registered on the tse.

But I edited it for the common good, maybe it exist a 0,000001% they will use it. I can not 100% knowing.

But if I don’t get any information what the hell is going on until the end of march, I’m fucking going crazy!

Thing with me is after I've had my rant, I move on all serene for a week or so then go off again.
But I'm good in between. Really good.

What I do manage to do is not let others or the general feeling at a moment in time pray on my emotions.

That's why I can continually make jokes at others' expense. Yeah, I know most of them are crap.
I'm not really angry, just giving fuck wits what I think they deserve.

Overall, I don't let the situation eat away at me

Maybe some here need to just go to the beach with their loved ones or well anything really, just leave here for a day or two.
Same with Twitter.

If previous experience is anything to go by, you will not miss much and your mental health probably will make a substantial uptick.
And yes, most of you would be missed but we'll get over it.

There's more to life than this shit.

No , that was a Leak . We find out all our company info through leaks . If the AFR leaks it then it sometimes becomes a company announcement . Other than that it stays as a leak and no follow up announcement .

From what we're hearing it seems the well orchestrated Social Media/Twitter campaign exposing corruption, corrupt activities, corrupt individuals, dodgy ministers and the findings of the IGF has found traction and been very effective

Everyone involved in that take a bow

Apparently there has recently been a request from the powers that be to tone down that particular campaign and focus on highlighting the benefits of the Manono project to the DRC and what AVZ can provide

I'm cool with that general idea but I want to be very specific in that we highlight everything that is good about the project while at all times inextricably linking AVZ to Manono and those good outcomes

I don't think we should highlight the benefits of Manono in general without it being specifically in conjunction with AVZ

You don't want Zijin and other rat fuckers picking up the great benefits of Manono that we highlight on social media and then attaching their filthy name to the potential positive outcomes

I also think while we are highlighting AVZ and good outcomes and linking all that with Manono we should continue a serious and hard campaign against Zijin highlighting their deplorable human rights record in the DRC (and around the world) and their rape and pillage attitude towards the people and the resources they exploit

We need it understood out there with this project AVZ is the one that can honestly and fairly deliver on Manono for the benefit of the DRC and there is absolute daylight between AVZ and anyone else in the race

Hi folks, long time lurker, very occasional poster.
Thank you ptlas for the perspective.

This afternoon I am attending a funeral of a dear friend and colleague (41yo).
Died suddenly last week whilst out hiking remotely in WA.
We are all in disbelief that this could happen to a fellow ambo… but we also all know bette….

So I just want to say, keep your loved ones close, hold them tight and give them some of the attention that you may have been affording AVZ/DRC.
Everything in life has a season and the dark days with AVZ will soon pass, so rant on here then go and nurture those that have stood by you throughout this.

I wouldn't believe what Zijin reports in its financial statement. Whatever the figures are will be faked anyway to mask it shady operations.

From that video it sounds like the current blockage - no doubt reinforced by Zijin and their DRC tools - is that FT still isn't convinced we have the ability to pull the project off, and may still view us as speculators. So hopefully that's what NF and co are trying to fix.

Yes it's true. ZIJIN pointing out that AVZ already can't properly manage an exploration program. They have been frivolously wasting money on things like quality housing for workers, roads, and community engagement. How can a company so wasteful be expected to build a mine?

ZIJIN simply pointing out that they are much more financially prudent and will build the mine without any of that stuff. In fact, they're so financially prudent they will save even more money by not properly paying local workers and by selling the product at a discount to Chinese buyers so they pay less local tax. Also don't forget; human rights abuses is directly proportional to mining ability so Zijin for sure best choice.
