You are too emotional.

This is a stock investing forum.

You are long, its not traded for 40 weeks. I can understand your anguish.

Patience is a virtue.

If Nigel comes good we all have nothing to worry about
Excellent suggestion
I don’t understand how that flog is still around here when it only takes 2 paid members to report his posts and they get automatically removed.

A few others have mentioned that they report his posts also 🤷🏻‍♂️

His last reply to me was a cut and paste of a reply to another poster a few days ago.. was possibly still in his google translate history.

Fletch maybe that’s why he became a member, so he couldn’t get suspended.

I think he is Chinese and that should tell investors here everything they need to know about him

Go AVZ!
"Massively exorbitant interest on their loans"

???

Dropped 7% last day of trading.

Doubt the shorts are paying too much above Libor - 2-3% extra maybe.

What folk fail to realise is that shorters have had the capital from selling the shares short (not CFD).

So they have had the capital to invest for 40 weeks at least, likely more.

If they cant beat the short fee, and some I would be very surprised.

Short AVZ, Long PLS, MIN, IGO. Wow that looks a nice trade

The Company is seeking further advice on the matter and is in the process of engaging cyber security experts to investigate and advise the Company."

How is it that we’ve been outplayed at every turn?
How did this source material get out of AVZ?
Now consider that possibility that AVZ systems have been breached by the Chinese and ask yourselves the above questions again.

Fuck, that’s dark…

We can now add the Defence Signals Directorate to the list of Australian government agencies that need to get involved. I’m serious. Fark.
Some years ago I commented on the crapper re concerns for AVZ cyber security, both here and in-country. Control of the world's biggest lithium mine would warrant the best (state?) hackers be utilised. It appears my concerns have come to pass. As you say, we've been outplayed at every turn. Now we know why.

What interest do you think shorts are paying on their positions?

I found my kind of bar in Copenhagen today. See the activity on the right side window

Unsure if the guy sitting outside is waiting to go in for a session or is recovering before heading home.

Arsehole, and don’t ask…

But hey, my good TSE buddy Kunts are doing a sterling effort in my absence, keep it up and fight the good fight.

Back to Dubai tomorrow then Rome

How large is your short position mate?

I hope you didn’t leverage too much.

Your recent posting suggests you are, like many others from time to time on here, going through a bit of soul searching and frustration.

I don’t hold anything personally against you. You took a bet against a company I believe will succeed. Just a difference in opinions.

We’ve all been stuck for nearly 10 months. Supporters and detractors alike.

Take a bit of time away from the keyboard and live a little. Your health is your wealth as Frank would say

Mate, stellar initiative, thank you. No doubt there are a lot of holders in this forum like me who don’t type a lot but take a great interest. Am all for chucking in time / effort to a group push on whatever front may be appropriate.
No worries. Felt helpless for the last 10 months waiting for AVZ to resolve. I think Government (USA and Aust.) support is what is now required and we should be focusing our efforts there.

Where's Manolo?

Looks like Tommy's spell checking is somehow worse than his fact checking

Speaking of fact checks here's a free lesson in journalism. The time between the issuing of the new ministerial decrees and the announcement is the exact same as it was for the initial decrees being announced.

US seeks critical mineral pacts with Japan, UK to curb China

The US government is exploring narrowly focused trade pacts on critical minerals with Japan and the UK, in addition to talks with the European Union, the latest salvo in its push to counter Chinese influence in key sectors, officials familiar with the matter said.

The US is looking to create a “critical minerals buyers club” with allies like the EU and Group of Seven, the US officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The move would ensure the bloc is not reliant on China for critical minerals, particularly as the countries look to build out renewable energy pacts, the officials said.

So-called rare Earth elements and minerals including lithium and cobalt have assumed huge strategic importance because of their role in electric-vehicle technology, defense electronics and other uses.

Especially worrisome to the US and its allies is China’s geological fortune in having supplies within its borders and its moves to lock up agreements with other producers — potentially cutting off US access in the event of a crisis with Beijing.

The deals, while aimed at China, could also make the countries eligible for benefits from the Inflation Reduction Act, soothing a key irritant over industrial incentives.

The development adds Japan and the UK to the list of countries where the US is seeking critical mineral pacts.

The US had already been in talks with the EU over such a deal.

The US has long been pushing to secure supply chains of critical minerals, including through a Minerals Security Partnership that includes the EU, UK and Japan, as well as other countries such as Australia and South Korea.

That group held a meeting earlier this week to discuss mining, processing, and recycling of critical minerals with representatives of several African nations, according to the State Department.

The push is part of President Joe Biden’s effort to shift global supply chains away from China, blunting Beijing’s clout in key sectors and hedging against disruptions — like the Covid-19 pandemic — that would upend supply chains or create scarcities that may starve US or other friendly producers.

Part of the joint push is driven by a desire to make sure the US is not reliant on China for critical minerals, the officials said.

It will also mean the US and its allies have access to the inputs needed to meet emission-reductions goals, according to the officials.

Participating countries would be eligible under Section 30D of the Inflation Reduction Act, an incentive aimed at promoting new electric vehicles, officials said.

A pact that clears the way for benefits under the IRA would help sooth tensions with Europe, which has complained that the provision freezes out American partners.

Biden’s administration has responded by pledging cooperation and encouraging European allies to pass their own domestic subsidies.

“This is one of the most promising ways to go forward,” German Economy Minister Robert Habeck told Bloomberg TV in an interview Monday, referring to a possible agreement on organizing a market for critical minerals.
