Anybody with a Twitter account that can tag this investigative journalist with all the AVZ announcements considering he seems to think the company has done nothing for the last 5 years.

No mention of Kabila / Cong and all the corruption in the past, just trying to loot the golden goose that has done all the hard yards and played by the book ( well at least i hope so .......for Nigels sake )

Yep, no mention of Cong / Kabila ‍♂, as if that ain’t strange in itself , that article / film is a waste of time , people see through that sort of rubbish

Seems harsh....what were you permanently suspended for?

The crapper said it was for doxting (I don’t even know what that actually is) but I presume it was because I @ about 10 posters on the crapper, meaning my post contained replies to about 10 other posters comments (including bluesky, elphamale, Gareth, mining8 and others I’ve forgotten) and my post was reported at the time by dosante. Some (like mining8) tried to assert I didn’t even attend the Sydney presentation, I was actually the first person Nigel spoke with when he walked in and spent more time talking to him and asking him questions than anyone else on the night. The crapper suspended me because I was already on their hit list for rubbishing the crapper, trolls and LNG Ltd management (who I had shares in at the time). The LNG shareholders also got stuck into me at the time for criticising management but when the company went into liquidation those same shareholders formed a group to try and take a class action against what was left and though I contributed information to the group for a while, I opted out of putting in $ for a class action that wasn’t going anywhere. Frank who posts here and used to post on the crapper can verify. So I have no liking for posters like mining8 etc and to answer Beisha’s response to my previous post here (about rampers), plenty of shareholders (like mining8) like to repeat over and over about largest purest hard rock resource, ML, BFS, SEZ, FID imminent any day now etc etc, but never mentioned when a CR was due (when we only had $2mil left in the bank) or how much that last 15% (of Cominiere’s equity) would cost us to purchase and a lot of other critical information that needs to be addressed, so that’s why I call them rampers, because they are half story teller’s. It was alright for them to post bs about me on the crapper (after I was permanently suspended) when I posted a ton of info there after the Sydney presentation. Never have I read them presenting all the facts!

I'm a glass half full, glass half empty old prick, so you'll find me oscillating from side to side. I also don't mind calling out management mis-steps and posted falsehoods either here or on the crapper, and I also tend to take a lot of the purist ramping with a good dose of salt. I felt the chill when I warned about Zijin antics earlier in the year.

I'm not close to anyone at AVZ at all, so rely on credible commentary from posters I have grown to trust and respect

Do you still have a line of comms with Nigel, or was it a once off face to face? It can be very helpful to a lot of investors to have more colour around what's actually happening, and such info can easily be said without saying it, if you get my drift. I belong to a private group, where one person is our spokesman, and we are treated by various managements as if we were investment funds. Not sure it's done us any good, but we can get more 'colour'.

I wonder, perhaps they could have been doing more in the meantime as a show of good faith? We do always hear what a good relationship we have with the Congolese government, despite the fact they've seemingly been the ones holding up progress.
Dropping a few millions into education or healthcare infrastructure doesn't seem like a huge deal when you look at the tens of millions that are burned through on corporate salaries.
Not defending this sort of Rubbish journalism in any way but perhaps AVZ could have afforded to do more at this point than give out a few vaccinations.
We're expecting the Congolese to have faith in us for the next 30+ years but we're not going to budge until they give us a licence to print money first.
AVZ will be buggered if we loose rights to the deposit anyway, why not put a bit more money into the local community whilst spending 10's of millions on drilling etc?
I know it's more complicated than that in many ways but the hearts and minds of the local populace is a part of what AVZ needs to win.
Actions speak louder than words goes both ways. AVZ's foundation should be in force already imo.
Seems to me management have dropped the ball during covid and allowed progress in this regard to be stalled and the enemy to sneak in through the back door why nobody was home for two years.
This can't all be blamed on external forces, progress has been frustratingly slow from our end to date and this current situation partly seems like the culmination of managements inaction on all fronts.

Yeh agree actions do speak loudly, though it also appears some of those actions go unnoticed too. Which is fine, you should do things for the right reason, not to get publicity etc etc

I had a very long conversation with him at the presentation, but I don’t have direct comms to him. In fact I am pretty sure he has avoided answering the odd email from me because of the questions I ask. What I do feel, is that, in part, he may not disclose all he knows because he’s done (and is doing) his best to keep the share price appreciating which has been helpful for a number of reasons. I am not suggesting anything untoward in any way here, and my view on his approach to the information that’s disclosed is that I totally agree with his approach. As I alluded to earlier, I’m pretty sure he has been aware of how the Chinese have been trying to screw us for a long time, and as a result, I feel he has been taking the behind the scenes steps he needs to, to get the project to construction…. I just looked back at my crapper post that got me suspended and noticed a couple of things…. In the post I also replied to comments by Scarpa, Super Yacht, grasseeds and Whidden3, and also mentioned that the agreement between AVZ and Dathomir stated that the remaining $15million (for Dathomir’s15%) could be paid either by August 2021 or even sooner if AVZ secured $50million in financing, which should add weight that the current claims by Dathomir are nonsense

I was just trying to fit as much info as I could into less posts. I have researched this company like all other companies I have invested in. You seem to feel you are the Roller (Sheriff) of these threads. I never called myself a spade, and you can call me what ever you like!! Downramper LOL, coming from someone who seems to think your TA comments are more important than FA and proper research. If there’s a bee in your bonnet mate, it’s not my fault, and rather than saying “just saying” try and talk to me like an adult who puts the effort in when it comes to researching companies I own

Been in AVZ since 7c , been in the stock market game for over 30yrs, mainly in the FA capacity, TA only the last 4 yrs, anyone who has followed me, would know that FA rules the roost, TA just alllows me to get good entries and exits......so not sure where you got the notion that my TA is more important than anything else........WTF ?

I aint the thread police, the collective AVZ TSE community runs that ruler, but you can be damn sure i will call out posters who make BS claims......that would be the SPADE in me.....

Been in AVZ since 7c , been in the stock market game for over 30yrs, mainly in the FA capacity, TA only the last 4 yrs, anyone who has followed me, would know that FA rules the roost, TA just alllows me to get good entries and exits......so not sure where you got the notion that my TA is more important than anything else........WTF ?
