Bit of a Tangent: My hypothesis is that china has been massively subsidising lithium (local lepidolite 0.2% rubbish) to establish domination of the global (EV) automative industry. I think they have done this now and are looking at removing those subsidies, under the guise of the environmental impacts and permitting irregularities (and its obviously not economical to keep it going).
I think this would explain the past months movement and hopefully signal a broader recovery supply/demand correction as the true underlying value of projects is transparently reflected in the market.
