That’s just my way of reminding shareholders of some of the bullshit we’ve had to put up with from those arsewipes since Cominiere and Zijin colluded to take Manono, and the excellent job Nigel and DLA Piper did to expose them.

Of course there’s a lot more bullshit to pile on top of that, not least remembering the roles of Mupande, the Green Grub, Antoinette N’Samba, Sama Lukonde and the others who all sailed off into the sunset without any accountability.
Its great work that you compiled mate, much appreciated

It appears Mr potato head has a vested interest in keeping Kibeya around.
The kobold reps will know they're in Africa once Kibaya starts ranting and raving like a barbaric animal like he did when he was heckling Serge at the DRC mining week presentation.

So long as we've got our money I don't care what happens. I'll even buy Kibeya a megaphone to yell into.

Also to build on my earlier comment that I think there are other bidders and this is a stunt by KoBold to try to box them out. I've gotten the same story from different somewhat reliable sources. There are other bidders, and they have offered AVZ more than KoBold has offered so far.

higher bids are worthless as long as you're not approved by the DRC government ... but as Kobold is you as a potential bidder can stay in a row behind them and try to formalize a JV as I'm pretty sure Kobold themself will never dig into the ground physically but virtually.

If the gringos wanna involve Cominiere then let them have fun with that

Most important bit for us is KoBold will buy Roche Dure so that disputes are resolved

A little bit of the bubbly is imminent imo

Second in a row where SGNC of DRC open their doors (1st was Kobold as above) for AI analysis and further evaluation of what is in ground of DRC to process locally. This time a Japanese AI based company ... probably a competitor of Kobold in this direction.

Understandable that DRC want to distance themselves from AVZ to protect themselves from their corruption .
Would expect an announcement from AVZ should fair value be accepted otherwise an announcement to the contra that Kobold offer not accepted.
Hopefully Kobold will pay fair value

By asking Copilot a series of questions it has presented a detailed AVZ compensation mechanism and timeline. Whether Copilot is correct or not is another matter, but the essence of the 'compensation mechanism' is:
  1. Independent Valuation.
  2. Cash Componet.
  3. Equity Component.
  4. Escrow and Guarantees.
  5. Milestone Bonuses.
I have not posted the detail regarding the AVZ compensation mechanism and timeline because I don't know how accurate it is. However, does anybody want to read the Copilot detail fwiw? Of course you could just interrogate Copliot, Grok, etc. and see what answers you get, but the answers depend on the questions that you present.

I agree it’s disgusting we AVZ never gets a mention through these talks but the paragraph below was taken from Reuters July19th update.

It commits the Congolese government to support KoBold's initiative to buy and develop the Roche Dure lithium deposit located at Manono and resolve disputes that have delayed the project's development, according to the agreement.
