It’s crazy to me that some shareholders would be happy to take 1 buck (around $3.5bn buyout) when we will be laying claim to over $10bn in a few months.

I highly doubt any meaningful offers will come before then and we can use the very likely positive outcome for AVZ as an anchor in compensation. The courts are a huge negotiating lever we have.

Unless an offer too good to refuse comes forth in the next month which will be around the compensation claims. We drop the case, get paid out and also get compensated for the north. I think anything less than $12 billion as a package is a poor result for the 21k shareholders. Think it works out to around $4 bucks after taxes. Minimum.

ICSID is a pressure point . The objective is to resolve matters before it gets that far . DRC expected AVZ coffers would run dry . We are in new territory . ICSID verdicts take on average 425 days . You would expect a push is on to get this sorted pre ICISD .imo

Hey mate nice to see this again. You 100 % correct. Minister signed the decree and all that was left was for CAMI to calculate surface rights which of course would have been paid immediately then we got the licence. That is on 4 May 22 and a week later we are in suspension .
Iam so keen for this to be over with hopefully a decent payout in the near future caveat being i want to see every one of those corrupt fuckers pay a heavy price for putting us through this 3 year shitfight.

I just begrudgingly visited the crapper to view the KoBold thread and found it interesting that the long term oxygen thief and porcelain bus driver stated he'd accept $2 with open arms. As that slimy choad is someone who I'd think would potentially have access to inside information, this leads me this speculate (guess) that the current offers on the table may be higher than this value.
Either way, I'm just sitting in the dark like a mushroom playing the waiting game like everyone else, waiting for my $12 US.

On top of this just checked Automic for mine, still showing 0 shares? Mine are HIN number and i've registered it a couple times now

You need to get your SRN and then register your shareholding on Automic

AVZ is "issuer" sponsored after delisting (your HIN is useless for unlisted stocks)

Your SRN will start with a capital "I" for "Issuer"

You should have received a holding statement with the SRN through shareholder communications but if not contact Automic to get it

So reading between the lines of various comments of late, it sounds like Kobold made an offer around 6 months ago. This was duly rejected, presumably for being low-ball and opportunistic.

However shortly after this they gained unauthorised access to our core library. Cute.

Then in January they again went behind our back with a direct pitch to FT for control of Manono, albeit with the added sweetener of adequate compensation for AVZ.

If this is all correct, then their actions thus far present as hostile to our legally sound interests.

Since then, and following our recent ICC win, will Kobold now reappraise their approach and become a white knight prepared to recognise AVZ's true value?

If not, there are surely other contenders for Manono only too happy to do so.
