The year we either sink or swim… if no revenue from Edgebox, MegaChips or Renesas I believe we’re fooked.
You are making your assumptions based on your knowledge only. Implementing a new technology is never a fast process. I remember one of my friend bought apple in 1992 and was saying at that time that the company will become very big. And then sell the same in 1998 after losing patience. Moral of story is if you cannot wait then better not to invest in new technologies. It may become insolvent but it has potential to give you returns of many hundred or thousand times of your investment
Irony of stock market is no one has a crystal ball but everyone wants to be rich very fast. That way either you become rich fast or you end up poorer than where you start
So to me anyone buying in these prices have a minimum risk and best reward possible situation.

Hi Pom

What a find. I take back everything I have thought about you based on your memes.😂🤣🤡😂

Pom has discovered the first confirm AKIDA 2.0 application. Just unbelievably generously shared:

Through our collaboration with BrainChip, we enable the combination of SiFive's RISC-V processor IP portfolio and BrainChip's 2nd generation Akida neuromorphic IP to deliver a power-efficient, high-performance solution for AI processing at the edge. Deeply embedded applications can benefit from the combination of compact SiFive Essential™ processors with BrainChip's efficient Akida-E processors; More complex applications such as object recognition, robotics and more can take advantage of SiFive X280 Intelligence™ AI Dataflow processors, which are tightly integrated with BrainChip's Akida-S or Akida-P neural processors. ” - Phil Dworsky, Global Head of Strategic Alliances at SiFive

The excitement for 780k in revenue in this forum is actually frightening. At least this 4c isn’t as bad as the prior one. Logically speaking this company is closer to bankruptcy than it is to be profitable. But hopes are high. Let’s see what 2024 brings.
Mate, Gen 2 is still only available to EAPs. Another 12 months needed to see the fruits bearing from Gen 2 release.. Then we can definitely judge on results from this current Calender Year

"Can you briefly explain why you think BrainChip will go bankrupt soon?"

At the very least it’s cost of capital is getting a lot more expensive whilst waiting for organic revenue growth.. 2024 a defining year.

Jesus Christ that was quite an outrage. Where should I even begin?

Regarding the excitement:
For example “Brilliant quarterly update” comes to my mind.

Fact Finder the bankruptcy and insolvency issue is noted and something that I learned today. I was in the wrong.

How you come up that I post something criminal though I have no idea.
A company with -14000% net profit margin in the penultimate 4C is *closer* I repeat closer! to insolvency than it is to being profitable. That’s not rocket science and in no way something against the law.
Even our CEO stated that this year makes or breaks the company. Do you want to file a lawsuit because our own CEO acknowledges the situation we’re in?

Altering what I’ve written changing the context and claiming that I said that the company is *close*, close! to bankruptcy, hence insolvency, that’s unlawful. That’s spreading misinformation at its finest.

Do I live closer to Egypt than you do? Yes I do. Do I live close to Egypt? No I don’t.

How you come up that we’re partnered with Samsung is something you have to explain to us.
That’s what I’ve written “The issue is. If Samsung is not using us through ARM or whoever else it might be we compete against a company with its own foundries.”

Tell me where do I claim our partnership with Samsung? Sounds made up to me.
Hell, I’ll even link it for your convenience.

If we’re not involved through a third party that uses Akida (Arm, Megachips or whoever else it might be), not partnership with Samsung, a third party, we’re gonna have some serious issues.
Stop claiming things I supposedly said but didn’t. And for god sake stop altering my sentences to make them fit your narrative and changing the context of what I’ve written. That really pissed me off!

Seeing all the cheerleaders mindlessly agreeing with everything you say and lashing out against anyone who thinks otherwise makes me question why I’m even here. This place has turned into an echo chamber that just allows one single point of view. I hope that’s a wake up call for some.

I always regarded you highly since you’ve been there since day one with great research but threatening me, altering my sentences and the context of what I’ve written and then suggesting me not to continue with this vein left an enormous dent.
You shouldn’t be apologising to these posters @DerAktienDude

They are part of a tribe, a community that only wants to hear positive hypotheses of Brainchip, and will defend their own to the hilt. Any contrarian opinions to the tribe are met with hostility..

That is the playing field here @DerAktienDude
It is by no means any slight on you.. Despite their best efforts, places like these end up being toxic and more harmful than good to those using it as a place to make an investment decision or base them on what they read here..

No matter what anyone tells you here, the reality is that most have suffered big paper losses investing in Brainchip.. And it’s easier to pick on someone that is a contrarian than it is to look in the mirror and say, “I made the mistake”.

Have a look at the Semiconductor sector is in a roaring bull market. The leaders are self evident. Nvidia, ARM, AMD, etc etc…

BRN is a complete laggard in the sector .. Doesn’t mean BRN won’t be late to the party, and gradually start getting a good market share. However it does mean it’s not currently a leader in the space and that moniker is really more of a marketing ploy for a R&D company in the far edge space that is trying to get its IP adopted and mainstream once overuse of data in the cloud becomes an issue.. Clearly that is not yet, as you’d be getting these big Semi conductors offering to buy BRN out already..

My two Bob worth.. Don’t get stressed.. Just take peoples comments with a grain of salt.. Save your psychological capital.

Pom’s find shows that an industrial machinery group known as SKF is a partner with BrainChip.
This makes me very happy :)
The ecosystem that Sean and the team set up is working, and it’s just getting started.

Where was that mentioned?

I read it a few times couldn’t find a reference to skf?
Ahhh, you could be right. I might have jumped the gun.
Please ignore.
The news was a false alarm.

Markus shares and likes anything and everything posted by Brainchip. I wouldn't take that as us being partnered with SKF. Its more likely that he is just a retail investor in Brainchip rather than SKF being partnered with us.

On a positie note, Sifive's website on the intelligence series provides some interesting comments which do allude to us potentially being involved.

Another interesting dot join is that Tenstorrent are using SiFive Intelligence X280 for its AI processors. https://www.sifive.com/press/tenstorrent-selects-sifive-intelligence-x280-for-next-generation1. And we all remember when Keith Witek from Tenstorrent out of the blue decided to come on the Brainchip Podcast. Now either he just came on the podcast for a bit of a chit chat because he was bored OR he is well aware of Brainchip because he has used it through the Sifive x280. Off memory nothing was revelaed about Tenstorrent using Akida, but why the hell else did he come on the podcast.

And here is quote from him when he first started at Tenstorrent “Tenstorrent has tremendous momentum and it’s time to scale our global partner ecosystem, revenue, and operations around the world. I am excited to play a role in AI innovation, but I also believe the world is about to be surprised at how disruptive Tenstorrent will be with our RISC-V technology.” And Jim Keller the Tenstorrent CEO thinks quite highly of Keith “There is nobody in the industry like Keith and we are fortunate to have him,” Keller said. ”Keith’s unique cross-functional skills enable him to address tough problems and drive disruptive opportunities that arise at the complex intersection of technology, business, strategy, law, and finance.”

Oh and Keith also worked at Sifive for a year.

Hi Boab,

It's probably safe to assume we're one of the options offered with X390 (hopefully the only one).

(23) Post | LinkedIn

The Linkedin picture of the X390 with the High Performance NPU shows a Customer AI Hardware engine with the SiFive Intelligence family with the “footnoted” X390 is encouraging.

Added to this is the fact (based on my recollection!?) that BRN were SiFive’s first NN SoC partner.

Note the Customer AI Hardware Engine option for the High performance NPU.

Hi TFM
One of Bravo’s posts in the last week or so contained a Mercedes article wherein they referred to creating their own chips.

This as you state has also been previously confirmed by Mercedes Benz.

Logically if they are going to deploy AKIDA at scale the including of the AKIDA IP in their own semiconductor makes the most sense.

I think it was the Infineon fellow who spoke to the advantages of off loading the Ai processing to AKIDA.

Most certainly OnSemi confirmed the good sense of this approach in automotive.

The wild speculation that arises given OnSemi are partnered with Mercedes Benz is that the proving out AKIDA with OnSemi’s intelligent airbag deployment system was requested by Mercedes - HC readers look up meaning of ‘wild speculation’.

Given the recognition of Mercedes Benz of the 5 to 10 times better efficiency brought by AKIDA and the confirmation they are making their own chips and that they need to compensate for the energy excesses of Nvidia it is hard to imagine they are not finding themselves over an AKIDA barrel.

My opinion only DYOR

Another thing that onsemi supplied for the EQXX was the battery with silicon carbide anode which increased the battery capacity as well as a traction inverter which also increased mileage.

https://www.businesswire.com/news/h...-VISION-EQXX-to-Go-Further-on-a-Single-Charge

onsemi Silicon Carbide Technology Enables All-Electric VISION EQXX to Go Further on a Single Charge

As part of a strategic collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, onsemi provides the carmaker with high-efficiency silicon carbide (SiC) power modules that increase the range of its VISION EQXX

onsemi’s VE-Trac SiC modules increase the efficiency and lower the weight of the all-electric Mercedes-Benz VISION EQXX’s traction inverter, extending the electric vehicle’s (EV’s) range by up to 10%. (Photo: Business Wire)
