AVZ Discussion 2022

Oh man, the bipolar nature of this forum really does my head in.

Let's just not get ahead of ourselves here guys with the celebratory memes and victory laps.

While I admit the optics of Mupande leaving the building as Nigel and CAMI begin discussing what's possible is a good sign but in no way does it mean we are going to come up trumps any time soon.

I think we are all well seasoned enough (brined probably by now) to know that the gameplay loop we are in is like Whack-a-Mole and corrupt players can pop out of the chute from anywhere, anytime in the DRC. Mupande was just one of the myriad Moles we are dealing with amongst many others. Some we've probably not even heard of yet.

My wish would be for the AVZ BoD to keep on track with all the ICC and ISCD hearings as planned until first trucks are arriving at the site (unscathed) Because as I alway say, it's not on until the caterers are cooking.

Anything else and I would bet we will all be sadly disappointed. As per usual.
First pic of Nigel with someone in authority EVER. Id say thats worthy of mention.
Be critical when its warranted but also be supportive when its warranted imo

I hear you Doc and I get it but I'm just saying there is actually such a thing as quiet confidence and cautious optimism.

As history shows in this debacle, every time something good seems to be happening, everyone is slipping off their seats with wetness only to have some DRC corrupt asshole shit down everyones throats about it soon after.

You could call it Premature Joculation. It's embarrassing.

AVZ have been in water tight blackout news for quite some time now.
Have a think about what it means for them to be taking photos, and releasing information to the press suddenly.

And without putting too much emphasis on it, think about where in the chain of progress towards issue of an ML, CAMI sits

My thinking is everyone's under NDA's right now while all the legalities of whatever has been put to bed are put into writing, for completion

Forget the tie. As someone pointed out to me, Nige is not wearing a bullet-proof vest. He must be feeling much safer in DRC & esp. at CAMI. Bring it home Team AVZ & DRC. Br Sparrowhawk12 🙏🤞

Probably confiscated a while ago so he didn't hang himself with it.
God knows he probably felt like it at times dealing with the crap over the last year.

Yeah I know, we've been led down the garden path many many times before. Im certainly not putting the Champagne back on ice, but it was better then a pic of Klaus sitting in that room talking about Manono!

Abermarle tried several times to buy LTR
SQM tried to buy Azure
Minres taking stakes in ESS (to block TO), DLI and I think GL1
Alkem and Livent Merging
PLS looking for downstream partner and aiming to increase output by 70% over 2 years
And FINALLY AVZ, THE BEAST showing signs of waking up

Kinda hard NOT to get excited right now on lithium. Yes spod price are lower than ATH but the margins still look very very healthy (I think 5x our DFS price). BMR and other forecasters saying "potential short term lithium oversupply in 2024", while in the same breath saying "longer term deficit and they don't think all supply will be brought online in time and there is not enough investment in the space but as prices decrease Chinese lepidolite becomes unfeasible, further tightening supply" .... it clearly highlights that no one has any real idea of how any of it will play and everyone is just hedging... maybe that seems bipolar?

If you believe in the thematic... our elite ruling class have decided "we want to go green/electrify"... seems like the worlds largest hardrock lithium asset is a good place to plant some money.

Best news we've had in a long time today ladies and gents :)
My first post here, but I'm a long-termer from way back (same username as the crapper, but that's gone to sh*t a long time ago, so I've been hanging on the sidelines for a while).

"The AVZ Minerals delegation was composed of Mr. Nigel Ferguson, CEO of AVZ Minerals, Mr. Landry Meya, President of the subcontracting association and CEO of AKATA RDC, Mr. Christian Lukusa, AVZ Consulting Lawyer Minerals and Manager of Momentum Attorneys & Advisors as well as Mr. Thierry Katembwe, CEO of Weza Investment."

Hadn't heard of Thierry before so did some digging to find out a bit about him and Weza. Not much to be found online, but looks to be a specialist in private-public partnerships and financing in DRC. A couple of profile links:

Maybe holders deserve to celebrate some minor victory once in a while spike, no denying Cami was a major hurdle and the network linked to the previous administration formed the basis of the AVZ detractors. A network that now appears to be crumbling.
Also we're now backed by the pending ICSID arbitration.

Still it'll be interesting what the detractors come out with next in the usual pattern.
Here they come starting with Tommy the fucktard twat!

Go AVZ!
I like to think that my expletive ridden rant about not knowing where Nige and Co were and they could be livin' it large in the Bahamas is what prompted the Nige to provide the market supporting evidence of exactly where he was and what he and co have been doing ;):ROFLMAO:

Really the first bit of genuinely positive and verifiable evidence that we have received in relation to Manono for a VERY long time

Great news.....hopefully the crew can follow up quickly with more

It's insane that AFR let this level of bias continue.
Lies can be disproven. The biggest trick 'journalists' play is omission of truth to fit their agenda. For example Tommy has never once reported any contents of the IGF report as his readers would immediately realise he is a biased dickhead.

At least he mentioned that the event occurred and his comment was factually reasonable. Looks like the MoP isn't the only one that is on a short leash.

I am fascinated with how Richardson is entwined in this. What does he have to gain from the demise of AVZ? It would be obvious to a Year 8 level literacy student that this commentary is bias and misrepresents the underlying message in this article. One fine day we will find out how he has ended up in this situation. Those at the AFR who are supposed to provide oversight on editorial standards are equally complicit. So disappointing that an Australian publication can so blatantly push a negative agenda on a company with so many every day Australians relying on a positive outcome for their hard earned investments. Disgraceful on so many levels.

The guy is a smarmy little self important shit bag, I'd wager it's personal for him simply off the back of some comments by AVZ shareholders. That and he's clearly backing shorters like boatman since the start.
It'd be extremely satisfying to see him and his ilk get their just desserts.

This is the best news in quite some time!
Consider that JFMK has been blocking AVZ for 15+ months with his little band of criminals. He was dug in so deep they couldn't even get rid of him when he was sacked last time. Seemingly had more power than the actual government.
haha, just a little ML would do fine... Yeah, great news, just being reserved :)
