The Australian share market looks set to give back yesterday’s gains and more on Tuesday following a poor start to the week on Wall Street. According to the latest SPI futures, the ASX 200 is poised to open the day 28 points or 0.35% lower. In late trade in the United States, the Dow Jones is up 0.4%, but the S&P 500 is down 0.3% and the NASDAQ is down 0.6%."

Ummm, Wall Street had a public holiday on Monday 😂

Thanks for the summary.

How long after tapeout before the 1500 is fully tested or the IP fully integrated built into products then fully tested, then marketed and sold ....I can’t see 1500 real end products until 2024 by the sounds.

I hope not all EAP’s or customers want to wait for the 1500 now as that would be quite disappointing. Surely this would not be the case if we are being asked to watch the financials.
The last quarterly said the next reference chip is expected to be delivered in Q2. So 3-4 months in total. I also don’t think real end products from this will be available until 2024 but a successful reference chip as rob said in his cookie recipe analogy, proves the cookie will taste exactly the same in all formats, and I hope that will trigger some licensing/contract agreements as it’s a fully proven product, and slowly unfold some of the NDA material.
They mentioned several times 1000 was used to prototype, and I would assume 1500IP has been available for some time also, so my read is that “some” customers have already designed products using 1000 and 1500 IP and the final piece is successful silicon.
Moschips was mentioned at some point last year, they are keen and are just finalising specifics of an agreement. Maybe this is the final piece. This is my read, 1000 got the ball rolling 1500 gets the deals done and time to market will be varying but hopefully not too long as designs are fairly advanced.

My conclusion from the podcast:

BRN Akida will be in many products in future. Have to be patient while products are developed.

New Akida 1500 chip targeting high volume applications. High volume is hundreds of millions & billions.

When electricity was first produced there were no radios, tv's, vacuum cleaners etc. Akida is similar to electricity being first produced. It will power many things in future. Takes time to develop new products.
