Interesting. I lost my draft post yesterday saying something along the lines of “we had better fucking have the Australian government involved in this matter”. Based on the above tweet, perhaps they are - does anyone know*?

*A few months ago we heard via an embassy offical about providing some minor level of support. I hope AVZ has DFAT/Dept of Industry up to their eyeballs in support.

Nigel mentioned at that the roadshow that the Australian embassy in Zimbabwe are offering whatever support they can.
But they haven't asked anything of the federal government because they assume the government will not get involved in these types or matters not like the USA or China. (something along those lines)
I asked the question in Melbourne and came away with the feeling they hadn't inquired with the Australian government based on their own assumptions and wondering if they even tried contacting any of the appropriate ministers for assistance.
Perhaps someone remembers better.
The question was also asked at the AGM maybe @Roon has it in those excellent notes?

As a shareholder, I require the BoD to travel to the DRC and not come back until they have the matter resolved and the ML in their pockets. It will not be possible to settle the matter from a desk in Perth. They have been trying to do this for 9 months and have now risked everything and risked total loss.

At a time when shareholders are confused and concerned, and not long after the recent class action scam - scare tactic by Deeland (that I suspect was started by any combination of shorter’s like boatman, corrupt Chinese business entities like Cong and Zigin or the German Klaus Jerkof) we find a fresh attack on our company again targeting the BOD and exec’s.

Not to long ago I said something along the lines that I wouldn’t be surprised if trolls started posting here, and that they will do it when they feel shareholder’s are vulnerable.

There is more than one troll here, and I suspect that recently emerged powertrade is another one.

There are plenty of shareholders who are pissed off and venting their frustration at the BOD and exec’s, but their are also those insidious parasites who are trying ever so hard to pretend they are genuine shareholders but who want to undermine all of us by surreptitiously suggesting more shareholder anger and class action rubbish.

There are shareholders here who have put in so much effort and research towards helping our situation and genuinely want us to succeed in spite of our BOD and exec’s being out manoeuvred by corrupt DRC officials and Chinese companies working together in secret and billionaires the likes of Cong.

I’m not going to defend our BOD, but I’m experienced enough to know the last thing any of us need is undermining our position by attacking ourselves.

Surely shareholders here see that. There has been a lot of good information posted here today and a lot of shareholders and investigative journalists and NGO’s backing our cause, and if you search hard enough I think we will find the evidence we need.

What is unforgivable to me is when those trolls who try and undermine us go further and lie. As far as comments about me by one liar here, suggesting me bringing up capital raising during the presentation, thats another lie, it was something I discussed with Nigel in private, and with a small group, and anyone was able to join in that group at any time

The only other thing I have to say is to that troll…. If you’re at the next presentation I’m at you better have medical cover

Collaboration agreement is apparently ready to go. But obviously these new decrees were a surprise to management. The words 'clarify the intentions' are the most concerning thing in the announcement. They are the reason I think we will be trading on Monday.

My take is the MoM had some sort of legal reason she had to do this. She hasn't admitted fault and has made the tenement whole again. Hard to tell if she is just using Cominiere's claims as an excuse to undo her mistake of allowing the partition or if she had to let them try and recover their rights against AVZ because of something in the mining code or Dathcom JV agreement. Or there is the possibility that she believes them but that is unlikely imo
