Had a look at this on HC this morning, no comment on this particular post ; but interesting address on his earnest brokers email I think....Earnest Brokers using an gmail address....’earnest brokers’ anyone even hear of these guys...i only know of ‘earnest insurance brokers’ which doesn't deal in equities....theres earnest broking and financial services out if India .

Earnest in this email say they ain't expecting AVZ to be out of suspension till q3 24 / q2 25....surely a company buying shares off market would be aware that such information is incorrect / misinformation as the stock would actually be delisted by that timeline.....a Gmail address to boot...surely not

Also he's responded to the post at 10.21pm where he says he spoke to the company ‘tonight’, he provides a call log which states ‘yesterday 17.21’ incoming ( so obviously didn't call them ‘tonight’) from number 08 61867612.....i ran that number, obviously at this time there would be no one there, but this one keeps ringing ; avzs number which is 08 61867600 ( similar number apart from 2 digids ) diverts after hours, but the number he provides just keeps ringing.....

I wouldn't trust anything that bloke says. Been guilty of stirring shit on HC before. Non holder and confessed drama spectator looking to play with people's emotions IMO.

Having said that, I wish we had some better comms from the BOD.

At the moment we can read this a few ways.

1) We are farked. Nothing is happening. We'll run of of funds, get delisted, Felix will lose the election, MoP doesn't go anywhere, CAMI doesn't release the fees for the whole PE that we want to pay to get the ML, MMCS ICC doesn't get resolved and Cominiere doesn't own 5% to give to the DRC. Personally I don't think it will get to that before a Plan B to salvage something from the wreckage.

2) All is sweetness and light. MMCS gets the arse. MoP goes with them. CAMI calcs the fees. We get the ML. Out of suspension. Rocketships, whales and $10 TO or GTFO.

3) Somewhere inbetween. MoP may or may not go. CAMI may stick with only calcing the fees for RD. MMCS ICC case may drag. In that event we MAY decide to forego a portion to get the majority and an ML. Possibly an adjustment to CATH percentage etc.

Q1: Why doesn't the BoD tell us status and most likely option? Either they don't know yet because of the usual DRC go-slow and shitfuckery and are adjusting course as they encounter things, don't GAF about letting us know, or a combination.

Q2: Why keep steaming on with drilling, building and other expenditure?
- Because slowing down might also mean a haircut on BoD salaries

- Because slowing down might demonstrate lack of confidence in an "imminent" solution to both DRC and SHs (though they could just fucking tell us how confident they still are and why. I'm not fluent in nods and winks).

- Because the delay in the ML is delaying us enough, and we want to keep moving. I'd like to know how much cash is going towards "long lead items", and not just buildings etc. Are we still doing that because we are still confident, or have we stopped?

- There may be some discussions with CATH re: their expectations for us to continue for them to keep extending.

- The BoD may actually be in possession of good info that we don't have, and they aren't sharing it for some unknown reason. And that reason better be bloody good.

I'm not saying it's all rainbows and unicorns, but not much has changed since a week ago as far as possible ways this pans out. Every time we have an extension the trolls come out to fuck with people's heads and emotions. Don't let them. Yes, I'll lose a metric shit-ton of money if this goes South or we get delisted, but I'll be fucked if I'll let some dickheads on HC make me jump out of a window because they claim they "spoke to the company" or got an email devaluing AVZ shares and itself might be just more trolling crap.

Great post. There has been a stream of official documents released since the AGM that backs up management's case. Mainly released by Franck Fwamba. Clearly fed to him by AVZ imo

I'm sure the bod are in possession of more good info they aren't sharing with us yet. The timing of the other documents being released in the lead up to the government reshuffle was probably not a coincidence. There is now also a cone of silence from DRC journalists until the new government is announced so makes sense the news flow has stopped for now.

Like I've said here repeatedly the problem is Mupande and the northern area of the tenement. Nothing is going to happen until one of those issues is resolved.

I will make a call to AVZ today and report back. The email is 100% scam.
Clearly not the brightest guy if he thinks the email is legit.

just seems like an absolute scam to me. they've stated they've spent $8m so far with a 30% chance of losing all of it and dont expect avz to relist until late 2024 best case. if one believes them, then 30% chance they've blown $8m and best case they wait at least 18mths to get something. if they truly believe this, then doesnt sound like a wise use of capital. first rule of thumb, is capital preservation, these guys sound like gamblers. again, its a scam.

It's a good question and if be I interested in the actual answer ; Company’s share registration gets refreshed every second day Doc ; they can see what the movements are if they were moving

I've heard of a few people saying they sold some off market...dont know how true that is ,I know of a few individuals who have tried to sell off market, but unfortunately haven't been able to but seems that Main stream brokers aren't buying off market with the excuse being ‘we can't buy shares in suspension ‘

Just a reminder from a previous post , I (wombat74) also spoke to Head Office very recently and was told a "Decision" on the ML was close. And that's 100% fact .

Exactly mate. I think they are priming for a takeover, hence the four rigs running.. proving even bigger resource.

My thinking is that in the event the ML is not forthcoming we will sell what we have / bought out by the Chinese . So makes sense to drill the sh1t out of it while we wait and add as much value as we can . This could be plan B imo .

From memory Nigel said something about it being for pit design in the area that was previously flooded which is most likely where the digging will start. But I reckon you're right that the main intention of continuing to drill with the licence uncertainty is about maximising project value.

13359 was split with AVZ management's approval. Original sin of the suspension imo

Mupande has been fired by two different presidents and a replacement has been named. Even Kabila couldn't get rid of him. If there was a nuclear strike on Kinshasa the only things that would remain are cockroaches, twinkies and Mupande.

Clearly the court in the DRC has no power to compel CAMI to act. Neither does the government. It's a loophole that can only be fixed with new legislation.

Q 1 : Does anyone have an idea on what the increase in resource size might be after assays are calculated from current drilling .
? Are we looking at 500 mt + ?

Q 2 : Without a ML but with 50% minimum ownership what's a realistic sale price and or offer ?
