Not in the DRC, where the actual asset is. Thats a fact. He has received all those free shares and still can’t have his arse on the ground?? Afraid of a few more mozzies or what?
The sector looks to be turning again the last 3-4 days, and AVZ is going to miss out yet again.
At this pace production at nameplate initial stage will unlikely be until 2026 now.
Those doubting me take a look at Core and Sigma.
Also capex increase is like a Tsunami. What long lead items have been ordered?
Labour will be cheap in the DRC but a lot of the plant costs eto will not escape this. LTR $447M - $895M
Finance will not be as easy as the “prime time“ to bank serious coin evaporates.
IMO
Nah I'll bite. You actually raise some decent points here @Modo. Looks like someone listened to the point I made.Fuck off you queer cunt fucken short selling troll arse licker
Honestly I don't know what you guys are on about.Nah I'll bite. You actually raise some decent points here @Modo. Looks like someone listened to the point I made.
Allegedly Nigel is heading to the DRC in 'late January'. With his appearance at the forum in South Africa in early February it seems he will be in the region. As many on this forum have pointed out it is very easy to post some happy snaps for publicity. The only 2 times I remember seeing Nige in Africa during suspension were a few pics at Manono in a magazine and in a video on a train in Tanzania. Hopefully we get some more soon.
I agree AVZ will be extremely lucky to produce in 2025 at this rate
Capex and borrowing cost increases will be significant from the DFS. The price for spodumene should be just under double the DFS which will absorb a lot of that but the longer we wait to start the more it will eat in to the profit margin imo
I personally dont think getting finance will be an issue considering the need for the end product but the terms wont be anywhere near as favorable as they would have been if this show got on the road in May last year imo
The Company needs a serious Executive Chairman.Fuck off you queer cunt fucken short selling troll arse licker
Mate I feel you, this is me too. Everything has been on hold since may, I just can't believe it's still going on.I am so sick of thinking about AVZ. My entire life, housing situation, confidence to start a family ect is all tied up in Nigel's hands.
I thought I was at the end of my tether in November, I don't even know where I am now.

Partially agree with your first point. What AVZ actually needs is a proper CEO. Nigel has the title of AVZ CEO on his LinkedIn from memory. Defo seen him using it about. But we haven't officially named the replacement that was promised years ago as far as I can remember. Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. The Company needs a serious Executive Chairman.
Anthony Tse would not be a bad choice. Try and get a Win Win situation for all parties.
Nigel is way out of his league, and John Clarke is the equivalent of “the lady in the van” when it comes to Chairman’s.
Nigel brought on board one of his yes men, at a massive cost now to shareholders.
Carries no weight and third parties know this.
There is no serious depth in the current board, none of them carry any weight of experience in govt. dealings / negotiations.
GLTAH

It is always darkest before the dawn imoMate I feel you, this is me too. Everything has been on hold since may, I just can't believe it's still going on.
I'm just stuck waiting and my life is a joke.
Hold on is all I can offer mate, one day we will log on and it'll be over.
I’m sorry to hear that @Mute22. It‘s a real challenge not burning too much emotional energy on something outside of your control.I am so sick of thinking about AVZ. My entire life, housing situation, confidence to start a family ect is all tied up in Nigel's hands.

I made that point a few months ago.Anyone ever wonder if we've been hoodwinked?
Corruption coming from a different direction? FT????
Just sayin'.
I'm very comfortable in understanding what the problem is. But obviously I can't guarantee everything will go in our favour. My main problem for me is the insecurity. If it would be save that everything will go in our favor even if we need to wait until 2024, I can wait. Because I know there is a finish line. But we have no timetable, no idea what are the real problems, no information about a progress, no backup by the government, several ICC cases with unknown endings, maybe new cases added in the future, no control over the needed Mining License. In this time I have no idea if I really see any euro of my money again, the company pay a few guys to help, nigel pay himself over 33k$ monthly from the money other people gave the company. And that is so fucking unfair! Personally i will never touch again any company one of this guy is sitting in.
Appreciate the solidarity.
I just feel like an idiot, I could have paid off my mortgage at 29 last April and had my wife 8 months pregnant by now.
That was the plan I had put forward to her with how my investments were going - things were on track and now, well..
At least I have some other shares doing ok, but nothing life changing.
Happy to agree to disagreeI don’t trust the informations nigel say. When the government is really interested in the project with avz there would be a possibility to realize it. First say fuck you to MMCS and Zijin and cancel the deal because it was against the law. Done. Then tell dathomir the deal was legal so you don’t have 15% anymore, when you fight against it you have to pay the 285 million for the streets you promised us. Then tell the corrupt ministers they have to do their job or they get kicked out or arrested. Instead of waiting 9 months and counting and loose money they need to feed their people. That’s what a good head of state would do. Not traveling through the world and try to sell other countries their own shit. My bet is that felix is part of that bunch of assholes too. Like the other deal with a Australien company which get blocked. first grant licenses and then blackmail that not enough African companies are involved. Even the people of manono beg desperately to the president because it would change their lifes, but nothing happen not even a answer what is the problem.
