JM Kabund Media Release: Dorley Matumona gives his position
July 19, 2022
The media release of National MP Jean-Marc Kabund is pouring a lot of ink and saliva within the UDPS. At the moment, executives and activists are looking to position themselves.
For Dorley Matumona Tumba, the era is the quest for solutions to the problems of the DRC and not to make choices on individuals. For him, this is a sad reality.
"In a country in search of suitable solutions, we have to make choices on individuals, less on ideals. Sad reality unfortunately," he wrote in a statement released on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, a copy of which reached the Mediapro Editorial Board.
According to this former president of the UDPS Belgium-Luxembourg Youth League, many expect from him personal attacks against MP Kabund or the Head of State. Faced with these expectations of the public, Mr. Matumona anticipates that his education will not allow it under any circumstances.
In addition, Dorley Matumona specifies that he had resigned from the UDPS Youth League, but remains a member of the ruling party.
"(...) Personally, I had joined the UDPS in accordance with my political convictions. I learned a lot within this party. Remember, I had decided to resign from my duties in the Youth League and not in the party. I have always advocated unity in order to face, together, the major challenges we face, "reads this document.
While wishing good wind to Jean-Marc Kabund, Dorley Matumona confirms that he remains in his party of the heart (UDPS) and continues to support President Tshisekedi in the truth and not in flattery. Honest support without individual but collective interest, he says.
As a reminder, when he launched his "Alliance for Change" party, the former UDPS boss, Jean-Marc Kabund, de-denounised the ruling regime. In particular, he had described him as irresponsible and enjoyers.

I’m not sure why Dorley Matumona (still being a member of Felix’s UDPS party) can’t get a copy of the IGF Report from the Attorney General and it makes me wonder what he can do to help, because it seems unlikely that the Attorney General hasn’t already passed on the IGF Report to Felix.
Maybe half the government doesn’t know what the other half are up to…. A bit like shareholder’s not knowing what Nigel’s up to.
