I have come to the conclusion that any announcement prior to the Perth roadshow is just going to be one giant dick pull and a complete fucking piece of fluff

AVZ advised the announcement would be an "update on the status of its activities in the DRC"

Yeah here's the update...

• We added some fucking gravel and graded the road at the campsite so it looks nice
• We had a fucking meeting with the Hydro people who were very friendly and provided lovely sandwiches
• A really nice crane turned up and we took turns taking photos in the drivers seat with safety hats on
• We met some of the locals and encouraged them to set up a facebook page on Manono.....but they don't have fucking electricity, the internet or a fucking laptop
• We had some nice chats with Felix who says he really likes us but was a bit busy to sort out the ML in between flying around Europe and doing a spot of shopping

There won't be anything meaningful at all

The announcement will be a little blurb and a fucking copy of a presentation they're going to have at the roadshow with some nice piccies of people looking like they're doing something but really achieving fuck all...

Possibly providing all of that as an announcement but communicating solely via GIF?

Look, I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy who was the first guy who got the second guy onto AVZ. I’m not claiming to be in the know here but I heard a guy was talking to him today and he’s in a really good mood today, so I remain hopeful.

This is the second time I'm not impressed with the BOD. First was the freebies, and now holding out till the last second to "announce before the RS". Just fucking childish for a group of grown men pulling a heap of coin out of the venture.. I'm beginning to think they don't have what it takes to take it to mine, and will cut 'n' run when given the chance..

I had high hopes for the company.

You misinterpret, but to clarify, having "high hopes" and "hoping for a good investment" are 2 very different processes.

You'd hope this wasn't it. They promised an update on our activities in the DRC and this update didn't focus whatsoever on our activities in the DRC. Just arbitration in France, a court case they specifically said we weren't involved in, and a few sentences of nothing re social media. Surely this isn't an overview of what we are doing in DRC
