That's because the same concerns still exist - the company needs to be better at communicating. It shouldn't be left to shareholders to try and join imaginary dots all the time. I think hiding behind NDA's is a convenient excuse, particularly with no revenue pointing towards progress.Today was again a bad mood here in this group. The same concerns over and over again. That doesn't get anyone anywhere.

Hi mate can't remember if I replied to your post.Hey Rise, I'm a long termer, but never have anything to contribute. I'm back in my box now!
@JoMo68
Some clearly want to destroy this once great community we once had here and unfortunately the dreddbot is making that task very easy. I for one will not be renewing my membership until this garbage is sorted.
I get you Zeebot, but as far as I understand the rules don't allow reporting someone for relentless negativity (when you know damn well that they are probably deliberately doing it). That repeated negativity can very easily pervade throughout the forum and reduce peoples confidence, which I suspect is their aim.You know something... it is really simple - and this message applies for everyone complaining... Why not avoid breaking the rules? I have regulars on each side of the debate saying 'Hey, this is off-topic!!' and reporting it, meanwhile complaining their off-topic post got reported...
The rules apply all the same to everyone.
Don't break them. Don't reply to trolls. Just report. Simples.
Most 'regulars' who have faced Dreddb0t have done so because they simply didn't follow the rules. The easiest bet is to focus on constructive conversation and report those who don't... and especially don't reply to them.

By the way, love this forum and you're doing a fantastic job.I get you Zeebot, but as far as I understand the rules don't allow reporting someone for relentless negativity (when you know damn well that they are probably deliberately doing it). Z I understand it's a 1 man crew with Ai in assistance.
But I have heard form you to reach out if you have any issues with what's being moderated.
However my messages have either been ignored, or you take issue with my message contents, which I find surprising given your request to reach out politely and ask for a manual review.
If we can't discuss moderation publicly, yet you won't respond to any of my messages separately, what's the best option?
I don't know what kind of messages you have been receiving lately, but I appreciate you are lumping everyone together to get to the point at hand, which is follow the rules.
I'm not even going to go into how difficult it is to contact you once the soft ban has been applied, you already know, you set up the rules, but it sucks for
The rules are effectively community moderated through the report function, allowing for interpretation of rules prior to them being moderated strictly.
It also mean should people choose not to report, it won't get moderated.
I've had 8 or 9 messages Moderated, whilst what appears to be at least 1 message deleted outright without a dreddbot warning, insinuating you have personally removed my message.
That's fine it's your forum, its your rules, it's your Ai bot.
I just think it's a little unfair to condemn anyone reaching out to you for manual review.
Maybe all 9 of my messages broke the rules, maybe some of those are abusing the report feature.
Not for me to know unless you provide feedback.
Also just to confirm, I've read the rules, I see what's likely being moderated and why, that's not what I'm concerned about.
AKA:
Happy to cop some rickrolls on the way to a cleaner forum, but the approach taken feels very alienating.
- Complaints About Posts or Members: If you have a problem with a post or member, report it instead of inflaming the situation by responding.
Not looking for special privileges, just a clearer understanding of the way the rules are enforced.
Happy to discuss privately too, but I saw your message in the BRN DIscussion Forum to come here.
One last thing that is separate to this is the idea of a timer or something regarding the rapid fire moderations.
The idea of 7 messages in 2hrs equating to a ban, rather than 7 consecutive days of a single ban being the same or worse is a bit off.
Banning within an 2 hours gives no real "warning" or ability to change your behaviour.
It just jumps form warning, warning, ban before someone even logs in.
I think the idea of being a repeat offender is something to consider, as well as time for reform and clarification on the rules.
"It actually takes between 3 and 5 people to report a post before Dreddb0t acts. So it’s me, a peer group, and AI."It actually takes between 3 and 5 people to report a post before Dreddb0t acts. So it’s me, a peer group, and AI.
Also the “discouragement” and “bans” are equally temporary. Although repeated infractions over a much larger number and duration of time, result in permanency.
So I do think I understand your point and have applied this thinking already. It just seems you don’t agree with my method of a temporary ban following a tally of moderations in a shot while?
And yes - I take some time returning messages and sometimes not at all - depending on the nature of it. Eg I’ve had people say they “only did x” when a review of their post history tells an entirely different story.

"I take some time returning messages and sometimes not at al"
Yes but only you get to review items that in my case in the past, you have overturned.
Which to me further instils a need to be able to contact you and receive a response, even if that response is: "moderation/ban stays in place", just so we know it's being looked at.
Also I'm in the naughty corner right now - I managed (just) to see my moderated reason and it was accusing someone of reporting my posts, which is objectively true, now I know it's 3-5 people. I do recall stating it was "pathetic" so perhaps that language is not allowed?
My point regarding this is that reaching out to you is painful after getting banned, on what may be overturned, depending on the circumstances.
Is it possible to unlock the "Contact Us" part of the website?
"It just seems you don’t agree with my method of a temporary ban following a tally of moderations in a shot while?"
That's part of it yes, I think me waking up to a banned account after 7 infringements, where I can see the bot response time is all within an hour is disappointing.
What could I have done to prevent the ban (apart from not breaking the rules in the first place, which I can't go back in time for).
I think time for reform is warranted, which I suppose you are suggesting the light, temporary ban serves this process? Fair enough if that's the case, just makes warnings useless if they can't be acted upon, and the temporary ban becomes the real warning.
Well I must say the money that I spent on the emergency push button alert is the best use of any dollars I've ever spent in my life so far..
Father fell out of his bed again. No injuries thank goodness.. only injured myself waking up in a panic and banged my elbow running out the door.
And thankfully he only lives a couple house's dow
