Such bullshit. They said 'no' because they felt they weren't getting enough money from it. Had nothing to do with environment or Sami.
They have done a new survey and have now found 80 species and not just 16 as Talga stated. But knowing them, they just took the red line on the map, which generously includes the national interest, instead of the true boundary of the mine. Apart from the fact that it's too late. That's why they applied for an extension before the proceedings and got it to search for mushrooms.

They are frothing at the mouth with dogmatic drool. They object to everything, even to their own mum if you put a mining sticker on her.

I don't really have anything new. Just a reminder to everyone: the detailed plan has already been finalised (see permits thread). At the moment there are articles floating around with votes from the feminists and the Samen Party that they are against building such a plan. But it is done already. In June there seems to be a voting about the matter (plan is ready).
Together this two parties take 4 out of 45 seats in the city parliament. I guess the more time passes, the louder the screaming will get. Better put plugs in the ears or look away.

Oh, and the off-take has now also reached the Swedish press. This reminds me that this is not only perhaps important for FID and EU funds, but also for Bergstaaten that require economic use of the approvals.
