Wow thanks @Frangipani, sorry to ask but I know you will know, does Brainchip have a connection with Java, I can't remember or am I getting confused?🤔

Just had a look at the floor plan for the upcoming Embedded World, and a company by the name of Tessolve Semiconductor is right next door to Brainchip. Looks like they're very much exploring neuromorphic computing:

"Modern technologies of packaging, or chiplets, are some of the latest trends already expected to remodel the industry, and neuromorphic computing is another potential technology. All of these are already being exploited by Tessolve through investments and experience in state-of-the-art chip design and manufacture."

"The Rise of Neuromorphic Computing
Inspired by the human brain, neuromorphic computing is redefining how chips process information. Unlike traditional processors, neuromorphic chips are designed to mimic neural networks, making them highly efficient for machine learning and AI applications.

These chips are particularly effective at:
As this field continues to evolve, neuromorphic computing could play a key role in the future of AI and autonomous technologies.

Recognizing patterns and making real-time decisions
Reducing power consumption for AI workloads
Enabling more advanced robotics and intelligent systems
The Impact on Semiconductor Companies
To remain competitive, semiconductor companies must embrace these emerging technologies. Investing in research and development is critical, as is fostering collaboration between industry leaders, universities, and research institutions. By staying at the forefront of innovation, these companies can develop the next generation of semiconductors that will power everything from smart cities to space exploration."

Hi @SharesForBrekky,

turns out there is a familiar face connected to Tessolve Semiconductor:
That of Sailesh Chittipeddi (ex Renesas), who recently reactivated his LinkedIn account after an unexplained hiatus and shared with the world that he was “looking forward to be part of the next phase of Tessolve’s phenomenal journey” - a post on which Anil Mankar congratulated him.

Since having left Renesas, Sailesh Chittipeddi has also become a Venture Partner with Novo Tellus Capital Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Singapore, which is focused on investments in industrial and technology companies in Southeast Asia’s lower middle market.

Novo Tellus Capital Partners just so happens to be invested in Tessolve…

Whatever happens with Brainchip, you cant say it isnt entertaining.....

We get journalist hit pieces, partnerships with world leading defense companies, a whole internet forum is born out of shareholder dedication to the stock, we help build glasses that can detect seizures, we are helping companies build robotic security dogs, we play a constant game of cluedo with Linkedin interactions, and our scandals range from un-ironed table cloths at trade shows to people playing dress up as a disgruntled Ex Ceo.

There is something uniquely batshit insane about being a shareholder of this company, i love every moment of it. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Go BRN

Hi @Rach2512,

Java is not a company, in case you mean that. It’s a popular programming language and computing platform first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995. (Sun was acquired by Oracle in 2010).

Muhammad Halel used to work for Sun Microsystems in the 1990s:

That’s when he “developed & implemented [a] strategy, which opened the smart card market to JAVA technology.”

I couldn’t find him on LinkedIn… do you have a link?
I just looked him up: Louis DiNardo. He’s the one with the ‘Forbes’ reference. And ps. no response from him yet… there’s a surprise 🙄

Trump says IBM, Raytheon may get US contract to modernize air traffic control system

By David Shepardson and Trevor Hunnicutt
May 1, 20253:48 AM GMT+10Updated 7 hours ago

WASHINGTON, April 30 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Raytheon Technologies (RTX.N), opens new tab and IBM (IBM.N), opens new tab may get the contract to modernize the U.S. air traffic control system.
"We have very obsolete equipment for air traffic control," Trump during a cabinet meeting at the White House, adding there are five companies who could do the work. "We want to put a brand new air traffic control system in."
Calls to modernize the nation's air traffic control system intensified after a mid-air collision on January 29 between a U.S. Army helicopter and an American Airlines (AAL.O), opens new tab jet near Washington Reagan National Airport. All 67 people aboard the aircraft died.
The U.S. House of Representatives Transportation and Infrastructure Committee is considering on Wednesday a proposal to spend $12.5 billion through 2029 to replace aging facilities, including air traffic control towers, radar systems and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as $1 billion for air traffic control hiring.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said last month he plans to ask Congress for tens of billions of dollars for a multi-year effort to revamp Federal Aviation Administration air traffic control infrastructure and boost hiring.
Duffy previously criticized Verizon for "not moving fast enough" in its $2.4 billion, 15-year telecom contract with the FAA.
In March, Elon Musk's Starlink unit denied it wanted to take over Verizon's FAA contract. Verizon said it is working with the FAA on solutions to create an advanced, safer national air traffic control.
"Starlink is a possible partial fix to an aging system," Musk's SpaceX said.
The Government Accountability Office says the FAA must take urgent action to address aging air traffic control systems, saying that one-third of them are unsustainable.
One-quarter of all FAA facilities are 50 years old or older and aging systems have repeatedly sparked delays, including major issues at Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday.
A persistent shortage of controllers has delayed flights and many controllers are working mandatory overtime and six-day weeks. The FAA is about 3,500 air traffic controllers short of targeted staffing levels.

Thanks for your reply @Frangipani, sorry it mustn't be Java then, I know it begins with a J is it JAST or something like that, sorry I'm not at all technical, that's why I'm getting confused.😵‍💫

Yasuhiro Iizuka, VP of Engineering and Head of HPC Japan SoC Development at Renesas, highlight the importance of SoCs in defining next-generation software-defined vehicles.

Is Yasuhiro hinting at something here in the highlighted area?

His reference to "a cerebral cortex-like AI" does suggest a conceptual alignment with neuromorphic computing, though he doesn’t name it directly.

Yes, the logo has now changed to dark blue, from its original black, they also used a black square with white-out spike for a while. The colour seems to be a cmyk blue as opposed to the bright and distinctive rgb blue used by most corporations within the digital landscape. Good move, it's clean and clearly adaptable across media platforms as well as being able to morph depending upon its uses cases. Very much like Akida.
