Are you kidding me Larry? 🤣..

Rachel Maddow?? The Extreme Far Left Democrats apologist, who MSNBC (known as MSDNC) for some reason, seem to think is worth paying a salary of 25 million USD a year? (she recently took a USD 5 million cut, for poor ratings though, it was 30..).

Yes Fox News is Right leaning, but my clip wasn't an "opinion piece" from Left leaning propagandists, it was directly from the Trump administration.

You've got Elon Musk there, who is one of the smartest people on the Planet and of our Time, who strives for Humanity's Future, trying to help actually shrink government and weed out Waste, Fraud and Abuse.
And the Democrats, are screaming about it??..
Their supporters are fire bombing and vandalising Teslas??
They say almost nothing against the violence??..

Do you have any idea, how many high level Democrat politicians, are multi multi millionaires??
They only get around 170k a year!

All the fuss and screaming by them and the wasteful government employees and bureaucrats, is because they don't want to be taken off the cash cow, that all the Waste, Fraud and Abuse provides them.

They are like blood sucking ticks and parasites, that don't want to be taken off their host, even though the host is on multiple blood transfusions, just to stay alive.

The Democratic party of the US is corrupt and they sicken me.

They are actually opposing the bringing in of Voter ID and registration/proof of citizenship??
I wonder if that has anything to to with the fact, that the only states they won, didn't require any and were flooded with illegal immigrants??..

CNN and MSNBC are their mouth pieces.

Australia, is virtually a "Blue State" of America, it's mainstream media, is for all intents and purposes, controlled by the same interests, as CNN and MSNBC.

Drastic changes are needed and there is a 2 day plunge on the overvalued US markets, driven by extreme fear and you've got a virtually retarded and borderline alcoholic Kamala Harris, coming out cackling and saying "I told you so?"..

Please, give me a break.
Tell me what part of this "opinion piece" is factually incorrect then @DingoBorat ........it is easy to find other references to the fact that he made up his own expert to support his ideas. Won't take you long if you want to do some critiquing of Trump or just want to continue to stay in the Trump cult where he can never do anything wrong and nothing is his fault and everything is going to be "the greatest you've ever seen" and "there will never be anything like it" 🙄😂

Tell me again how tariffs on China will help Australian miners and farmers etc when they are our biggest trading partner with 33% of our exports going there.

The markets are saying what they think of it........not just the "left leaning propagandists"

And if you want to talk about corruption how about the world's richest man with numerous billion dollar contracts with the government calling the shots as an unelected official.......

Elon M is a narcissistic axxxxxx together with the orange man.

They are extremely dangerous to the whole world.

They think they can do whatever they want, terrifying!

I will leave it at that since we are way off-topic now.

Qualcomm aren't our friend and it's no wonder they will be buying exclusivity with Edge Impulse. Neither is Arm our friend. They have both developed Neural Processors of their own. Go figure.

Our great hope is the Risc-V ecosystem and it's a good thing we are moving there with Frontgrade ASAP.

I urge brainchip to get behind risk-v phones. They could start here

https://mikrophone.net/

Brainchip could get akida doing everything from signal processing, to display clarity to personalisation.
Iam not sure about ARM not being our friend, I would think they are and would benefit from our partnership

As far as I'm aware, the only "elected" officials in the US government, are the President and Vice president.

So the whole "argument" of Musk being "unelected" is completely stupid.

Elon Musk, who is also not perfect, is not trying to benefit financially from all this in my opinion, he is honestly trying to help the Country he Loves.
Again in my opinion.

Trump is not focused on helping "other" countries, he is focused on America First.
But a Strong America, benefits the World.

Australia's inept governments, have already done their job of stripping the manufacturing and wealth from our Country, they don't "need" help with that.

This is not the place to debate this and I know only too well, the pointlessness of it, in private.

There seems to me, to be a very fine line between education and indoctrination, in some cases, especially those on the far Left.

Each to their own and believe what you want to believe.

The other good interview with Qualcomm following the acquisition is the one that came out 20.3.25 with Serge Maillet (Qualcomm) who also confirms Qualcomm will keep working with the community and developers 11.45 mark but what I found also really interesting in this interview is the talk of smart doorbell AND Serge goes on to talk about object detection of a "conveyor belt in a factory... lets say a fruit conveyor belt you want to see what apples are healthy and whatnot"...(2.27mark to 2.54).

Now where have a i seen a fruit conveyor belt before.....hmmm and so happens to have apples as Serge mentions above.....:)

This is a good clip, on why the Trump administration, is doing what they're doing.

Stephen Miller, is like a bulldog in a greyhounds body (maybe a Dobermann?).

This is just from a quick Google...

"China's biggest imports from the U.S. are soybeans, oilseeds and grains, amounting to $13.4 billion in 2024, as well as $14.7 billion of various fuels and $15.3 billion of electrical machinery, according to U.S. trade data."

"Which countries export the most to the US? In 2024, Mexico exported $505.9bn of goods to the US, according to the US International Trade Administration. This was followed by China, which exported $438.9bn, Canada ($412.7bn), Germany ($160.4bn) and Japan ($148.2bn)."

The US, is by far holding the cards by value, of a trading partner and it's being and has been "jipped" for decades.

China, as Trump said, made the wrong move, as "Its" economy depends on the US, far more than the reverse.

It's either a strong US Country and Economy, or a weak US and a Strong China.

Take your pick.

Ultimately, a Strong US will benefit the World, far more, than what will in hindsight, be seen as a bump in the road.

Ultimately, a strong US economy, will benefit BrainChip.

In 36 years his mind hasn't changed

I guess my point was that you don't have any friends unless you have a compelling reason to work with them. Once we have a COTs chip with akida as a core in a risc-v chip then I think ARM will be more friendly.

As it is , there is no evidence that anyone has produced an ARM chip that includes an akida core, even though Renesas thought they would at one point. But then Renesas decided to incorporate their own proprietary IP called DRP.

And now ARM have the said that they are going to make their own chips, and previous friendly relationships ( ARM and Qualcomm) are discarded.

You might think that Arm making their own chips will be to our advantage - they could license Akida and on sell those chips to their army of clients. But that seems a long shot given the lack of attention that have given us in the past.

Friends ( or ecosystem partners) are those entities that think they can make a win-win deal commercially. Arm would be much more interested in taking some of NVIDIA's business than our nascent one.

Well I guess I can't fault that logic. I mean if Qualcomm mentioned the phrase "conveyor belt", well, um.. it just could be.

Thank god we have our ecosystem - espesh DeGirum as noted above.

Hi All,

After watching Tony Lewis' demonstration, I decided put together this simple table (with the help of ChatGPT) to help compare AKIDA with Snapdragon in relation to on-device GenAI.

Breaking it down like this makes me think that BrainChip would be a great fit for Qualcomm because the areas that AKIDA excels in (smart sensors or ultra-low-power devices) in are not the same areas that Snapdragon excels in (mobile phones or AI PCs doing heavier GenAI inference) – so no-one would be cutting anyone else’s lunch, so to speak.

If Qualcomm wants to tap into the battery-powered edge market, or to improve the battery life of mobile phones, for example, then they would be mad not to consider partnering with us, wouldn’t they?

What does everyone think?

FeatureAkidaSnapdragon
Power Draw Micro-watt to milliwatt range Typically several watts (2–10W)
On-device Learning Yes, continuous & incrementalNo (inference only)
Active Only When NeededYes (event-driven)No (clocked cycles)
LLM Scale (Billion+)Demonstrated 1B+ parameter GenAISnapdragon 8 Gen 3 supports up to 10Billion parameters

Verdict Power Efficiency) : Akida is dramatically lower power, especially in always-on, sensor-fusion, or incremental learning scenarios.
Verdict (Performance & Throughput Activity) : For raw performance, Snapdragon wins - especially for LLMs and GenAI where traditional tensor ops and memory throughput dominate. Akida trades off some performance for extreme energy efficiency and real-time learning.

I'll say one more thing, on the sheer stupidity of the Left, complaining about Elon Musk, being an "unelected" official.

Elon, figured prominently in Trump's campaign (some will say he "bought" the election for him, being the World's richest man, but the Democrats, had far more billionaires contributing).
Harris total campaign money, roughly 1.994 Billion USD.
Trump total campaign money, roughly 1.452 Billion USD.

As did figure prominently, the concept of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and the democratic majority, both Electoral (each state has a certain number of points) and Popular (by number of individual votes) voted for Trump and everything he entailed.

So Elon Musk and DOGE, was not a "Right" field surprise.

The majority of Americans back Trump and the Democrats polls, are currently running at 21 to 23%, a record low.

I can tell you, it's actually rare, for me to be in the "majority" of something, but being as Australia is like a Blue State, I still happily? feel like a leper here..

ok and again on the subject of the impact of Qualcomm and Impulse and how that effects the EI ecosystem and partners -
This came out 5 days ago 1.4.2025

This one is 53 mins long so i will cut to the main bit that talks about this subject: 38.25min mark to 41.35min mark

If you don't have the time to view it, here is the transcript with Daniel Stitunyake Director of ML at Edge Impulse. - I have highlighted Daniels response.

u want to stay in the game it's going to be um the platform or the ecosystem
38:06
that you're selling and this ecosystem is going to be the hardware plus the service plus the AI plus the cloud and
38:13
everything together and that's how you can keep your customers um so first of all to me is a wakeup call for other um
38:21
semiconductor um companies the piece that makes me a little bit
38:26
worry first of all I'm I'm really um um glad for you guys and this acquisition
38:34
but the the part that makes me worry is I want to ask you how do you see the edge impulse in the future is it going
38:40
to be just for uh Qualcomm uh basically chipset or you're going to continue um
38:47
basically offering the service for other semiconductor companies if yes how you
38:52
going to resolve and address this challenge of competition yeah so I mean it's a good question but
38:59
I I think you know it's kind of an easy answer as well we've always been this neutral ground where we support a whole
39:06
ecosystem of different types of devices different types of product in the same way that we support a whole ecosystem of
39:12
different machine learning models and signal processing algorithms because you can't have a tool like this be useful
39:19
unless it supports everything um we need to be there in the design process where people are selecting hardware right we
39:25
need to be a trusted neutral ground where you can evaluate the model's performance on different types of
39:31
targets and make that kind of decision um and then we also need to be there for
39:36
customers who are doing multiple projects you know not every project you do is going to involve the same hardware
39:41
the same chips um even within one project you may be use multiple devices
39:47
from different suppliers so um Qualcomm the reason we're so excited to be joining them and why you know this is
39:54
this is a good fit and this is something we said yes to is because they completely believe in that vision too
40:00
and um you know Qualcomm makes some incredible hardware and we're going to be supporting that but at the same time
40:07
we we can't make a product like ours work unless we support that whole constellation the whole ecosystem that
40:13
engineers are building on top of so Qualcomm really gets that um that's not
40:18
going to change at all we're still working with all of our partners um they're excited to be working with us so
40:24
it's really just about growing this entire pie for everyone right we've we've now got a ton more resources to
40:31
grow the community to push out into more and more embedded engineers um help people get trained up and um
40:38
knowledgeable about edge AI and the things that are possible um help build tools that derisk the process of doing
40:46
edge AI engineering and that's going to benefit the entire community because you're never just going to work with one
40:52
piece of hardware for the rest of your life you know you're never going to be using one piece of hardware for every project um so I think our vision just
41:01
carries on right we're carrying on as a business in the same way we always have um our business model's the same too you
41:08
know we have our community um platform which anyone can use if you're doing
41:13
something big if you're pushing lots of stuff to production then you can come on and be an enterprise customer and we
41:18
give you all sorts of support um we're going to continue to do that and um yeah we're just doing so under the um kind of
41:25
Qualcomm family now and we're just part of you know a bigger constellation of

And a reminder that his interview came out this month just 5 days ago :)

I wouldn't say it doesn't apply to BRN.

He's clearly sending a message for a reason and not just "shooting the breeze".

I think he could be saying "pay me more money, or I'm joining Rudy".

He talks about investment "in people" and that the patents don't mean much, if the ones who created them are gone.

Rudy is gone and he's the main other side of that equation, with TENNs and PLEIADES.

You have to imagine, that he and Rudy still communicate and he is probably saying how "great" it is to work for Nvidia.

I think they should pay him what he's asking.
Unfortunately, if they can't, or won't, Nvidia will.
That’s pretty much how I read it too. It looks like the tech experts have become the new premier league players.

wow what a lot of falsehoods you have stated. 70% of billionaire contributors were for the Republicans (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/apr/01/billionaires-record-spending-2024-election)
The majority of Americans do not support Trump, he got 49.8 % of turnout votes so just in that statistic alone 50.2% didn't vote for him and secondly 264,800,000 approx were eligible to vote 2024 and only 156,303, 000 approx turned out,( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voter_turnout_in_United_States_presidential_elections) Trump only got 77,303,573, a far cry from the having the majority supporting Trump.
Go Brainchip, hoping the company survives this mess being created in the USA

We are arguing against each other regarding billionaires… while we are sitting on a penny stock hoping for the big deal😭😂😭😂😭

Don’t let yourselves be turned against each other while those at the top keep getting richer depending on who’s in power. They’re all in it together, lining their pockets with actions that manipulate the market. It’s the little guys who get taken advantage of. I really hope BrainChip has something important to announce in the next week or two that will positively impact the share price. This matters to me!

I am wondering how much of what he says is valid though..

Understandably, the original inspiration and workings, can be by a very few people, but once the IP has been "created" to say it's virtually valueless, without the original creators around, is maybe a bit of a stretch?

Or is the gap that large, in respect to the talent and ability, that other techs are just throwing up their hands, when asked to add to, or improve it?..

I have virtually no idea about that stuff, but Tony Lewis did say in his hiring advertisement to agencies, that 99% of their talent pool, wouldn't cut the mustard.

Maybe it's even greater than that?..

Snapdragon 8 gen 4 versus AKIDA.

Question to ChatGPT:
Can Snapdragon handle 1 billion parameters on device unconnected for GENAi applications on a watch battery?

Answer:
"If your GenAI workload must run completely untethered on a watch battery (and for more than a few minutes), Snapdragon is not the right fit. Akida or neuromorphic architectures are the way forward."

Please, give me a break.
You poor brainwashed fool.

I laugh at the yanks. They have become one of the most self destructive countries on earth.
They do not understand that, you reap what you sow.
They are blaming other countries for something they have contrived all by themselves.
Their big business has been taking manufacturing of shore for years. One of the most recent, their favorite son, Elon Musk.
There biggest companies have using Ireland and other tax havens for years.
You could be forgiven for thinking that this whole thing is a scam, to make the rich, richer and the poor penniless.
Here is a short list from chat GPT of tax manipulators.
Question;- Which US companies use Ireland as a tax haven.
Several large U.S. multinational corporations have historically used Ireland as a tax haven due to its low corporate tax rate (12.5%) and favorable tax laws. These companies typically establish subsidiaries or headquarters in Ireland to reduce their global tax liabilities through strategies like the “Double Irish” and transfer pricing.

Notable U.S. Companies That Have Used Ireland as a Tax Haven:

  1. Apple
    • One of the most prominent examples.
    • Used Irish subsidiaries to hold intellectual property rights and shift profits.
    • At one point paid an effective tax rate of less than 1%.
    • Was ordered by the EU in 2016 to pay €13 billion in back taxes to Ireland (which Ireland actually contested).
  2. Google (Alphabet Inc.)
    • Used the “Double Irish, Dutch Sandwich” strategy to route profits through Irish and Dutch subsidiaries to Bermuda.
    • Saved billions in taxes before the loophole was closed to new arrangements in 2015 (phased out by 2020).
  3. Facebook (Meta)
    • Has routed much of its non-U.S. revenue through its Irish operations.
    • Took advantage of Ireland’s lower tax rate and IP-friendly laws.
  4. Microsoft
    • Has extensive operations in Ireland, with much of its international profits funneled through subsidiaries there.
    • In 2020, one Irish subsidiary reported $315 billion in profits but paid zero corporate tax because it was “resident” in Bermuda for tax purposes.
  5. Pfizer
    • Attempted a tax inversion deal by merging with Irish-based Allergan in 2016 (ultimately blocked by U.S. authorities).
    • Still benefits from Irish tax laws through various subsidiaries.
  6. Amazon
    • Uses Irish operations for EU sales, and has been scrutinized for aggressive tax minimization strategies.
  7. Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter(before Twitter was acquired by Elon Musk)
    • All had European headquarters in Dublin and used Ireland to manage non-U.S. revenues for tax purposes.

Why Ireland?

  • Low corporate tax rate (12.5%)
  • Favorable IP laws
  • EU single market access
  • Skilled, English-speaking workforce
  • Legal structures that allowed aggressive tax planning
