SensiML uses ML to recognize road noises, but it is not an ML invention. It is an application of ML used for traffic sensing.

The ML could use Akida.

US11080994B2 Smart road sensor

[0017] In operation, the road sensor can provide information in a local mode, a connected mode, or both. The processor 35 on the PCB will have undergone machine learning based ‘training’ to ‘teach’ it the different patterns of sound, vibration, and other sensor data that correspond to traffic insight events of interest. This occurs prior to its installation but may include ongoing learning from data gathered during operation used to update and improve the algorithm.

Check this out crew!

The first article published 24 hours ago (which mentions Weebit) says "As interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and in-memory computing significantly increases, resistive random-access memory (ReRAM) could be the key to unlocking the ability to imitate the human brain".

Now I have been interested for some time in trying to establish the ways in which BRN and WBT could collaborate and this article seems to hit the nail on the head.

There's also a link in the article which says "synonymous with neuropathic computing" and this takes you to an article describing work done by researchers at Politecnico Milan. It states" The university developed a hardware design that uses Weebit’s ReRAM to combine the efficiency of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) with the plasticity of brain-inspired spiking neural networks (SNN) to enable the hardware to learn new things without forgetting trained tasks of previously acquired information. In addition, the system adapts its operative frequency for power saving, enabling feasible solutions for lifelong learning in autonomous AI systems."

Well, to cut a long story short I tried to find a link between BRN, WBT and Politecnico Milan and came across a TMT Analytics Report entitled "Weebit Nano Limited" from Feb 2019 from which I think we can deduce a collaboration of sorts.

Hi Bravo,

I have a vague recollection (or imagining) of ReRAM/MemRistors) being mentioned as a future option for Akida, but I never understood how that could be, because ReRAM/MemRistors are analog. While that theoretically makes them closer to wetware, there are problems in practice, such as manufacturing variability which imposes limits on size and accuracy.

An analog NN is outside the scope of BrainChip's patents which relate to digital NNs.

So let me think about it ...

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!

I have nothing but respect for the long term holders that have held for 6, 7 and up years. They deserve not to have to wait much longer.

Don’t mention the war !!

Some here have suggested that our stock price decline is a result of the war...me myself personally disagree.

Putin launched his monstrous attack on the Ukraine on 24 February’22. At this time, the ASX300 (my favourite index) was around 7400, and BRN‘s stock price was in the mid $1.20’s. The ASX300 tanked down to 6800 but BRN initially held up before sliding down into the the low/mid $0.90’s. As of today, the ASX300 has fully recovered back to 7400…BRN has struggled to get back to $1.00.

No doubt the war has not helped, but BRN was already sliding from it’s post Mercedes January press release high above $2.00, and for mine, the principal reason for the decline is the lack of news. I have to say I’m now very impatient for news of progress.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a rusted on true believer in Brainchip, and throughout this period of decline, my trading has enabled me to add very nicely to my parcel. But let’s not kid ourselves that the war is solely or even principally to blame…it’s the vacuum that is building as every day passes, without the news we are all awaiting.

My star sign stated that after a peak we will consolidate for a bit. When the time is right NASA will take us to the moon but alot prep before hand.

I don't think we're going to get any major news prior to the AGM. Waiting to see revenue numbers in the 4C - that'll give us an understanding of the current uptake. IMO.....
