I am the first to put my hand up for a mailchimp mess up, but it's still frustrating to see these little things constantly pop up for us 😳 This is definitely not a negative sentiment toward what we've got, where we're going etc.. But when you're an AI company, it feels your digital comms mean more. When your preferred method of communication is email and socials, again, it feels like these need to be right.
They've obviously replicated the previous email and nor changed the header?
I'm all in on BrainChip, which is where the amateur hour moments like this feel particularly hard at times 🤷🏻‍♂️
Has the tablecloth been ironed? Quick, you better go check.

BrainChip teams for grid AI cyber threat detection

eeNews Europe - BrainChip teams for grid AI cyber threat detection https://lnkd.in/gNAiuqqw via Nick Flaherty

BrainChip has teamed up with security researchers Quantum Ventura to use the Akida neuromorphic AI technology to develop new cyber threat-detection tools for the energy grid.

Quantum Ventura in the US is creating cybersecurity applications for the US Department of Energy under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Programme. The program is focused on “Cyber threat-detection using neuromorphic computing,” which aims to develop an advanced approach to detect and prevent cyberattacks on computer networks and critical infrastructure using the event-driven neural network.

Event-driven, or neuromorphic, AI, is inherently lower power than conventional neural network accelerators, providing energy efficiency with high performance for chip designers to provide AI on battery-operated or fan-less embedded, edge devices.

The grid is a key vulnerability and there are several projects looking at new ways to make it more secure at the edge.

The Akida neural processor and AI IP can find unknown, repeating patterns in vast amounts of noisy data, which is an asset in cyber threat detection. Once Akida learns what normal network traffic patterns look like, it can detect malware, attack signatures, and other types of malicious activity. Akida has the ability to learn on device in a secure fashion, without the need for cloud retraining, allowing it to quickly learn new attack patterns and adapt to emerging threats.

BrainChip IP supports incremental learning, on-chip learning, and high-speed inference with unsurpassed performance in micro watt to milli-watt power budgets, ideal for advanced AI/ML devices such as intelligent sensors, medical devices, high-end video-object detection, and ADAS/autonomous systems.

“Neuromorphic computing is an ideal technology for threat detection because of its small size and power, accuracy, and in particular, its ability to learn and adapt, since attackers are constantly changing their tactics,” said Srini Vasan, President and CEO of Quantum Ventura Inc. “We believe that our solution incorporating BrainChip’s Akida will be a breakthrough for defending against cyber threats and address additional applications as well.”

“This project with the Department of Energy offers an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how Akida opens up new possibilities in cybersecurity, including the ability to run complex AI algorithms at the edge, reducing the dependency on the cloud” said Rob Telson, Vice President of Ecosystems & Partnerships at BrainChip. “We are excited about the progress that Quantum Ventura are making with BrainChip in this project which is extremely vital to the safety of the nation’s infrastructure.”

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
I can recall Anil like that post from Qualcomm on linked in. That was around 2 months ago. Someone posted here.

Yes, I remember it was the one with the cat.😻

I wonder???? I mean we do de-noising, don't we?

MediaTek will reportedly work with NVIDIA on a future smartphone processor with a GeForce GPU as soon as 2024. This is supposed to deliver a major graphical and AI boost.

Promised my wife I would stop buying BRN but what am I supposed to do with this borderline-insider-trading?!
If the affect on the SP from a lack of ASX announcements is to be believed, we are in a very, very fortunate position.

I believe the problem for him starts when sp goes down from 60 cents into 40 cents. There was a big short during that period. Now he is not getting enough quantity of shares to cover his shorts. The price is recovering and he is not getting enough to cover. If the sp goes over 60 cents without major volumes the shorts are in trouble.
Dyor
Shorts are covering their asses.
The short interest goes down from 7.2% to 6.34%
That is proving the case for plato declaration for their short positions.

Let’s go BrainChip!!!!!!

The 2023 Tiny ML hackathon challenge is about pedestrian detection.

https://www.tinyml.org/event/tinyml-hackathon-2023-pedestrian-detection/

BrainChip does not have an end product, so it will need to work with a sesnor maker. We're spoilt for choice (Prophesee, Valeo, ... ?).

Mercedes has "digital light", a magic system (it's all done with mirrors) for focusing its headlamps on detected objects such as pedestrians.

https://www.bing.com/search?q=merce...ANNTH1&refig=35471dec0da64fd693b7bddc04f0d11c

They will need a sensor and identification processor to control the mirrors.

I particularly like the Teksun CEO's comment:

If other potential clients are thinking the same, then we hopefully will have a stratospheric ride over the next few years.

Hi @Jchandel good find.
This article lists the key players, and BRN is well and truly rubbing shoulders with the big boys now for all to see, there's no down playing this anymore.

According to Next Move Strategy Consulting the market for artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to show strong growth in the coming decade. Its value of nearly 100 billion U.S. dollars is expected to grow twentyfold by 2030, up to nearly two trillion U.S. dollars ($2,000,000,000,000) The AI market covers a vast amount of industries.

The Global Neuromorphic Computing Market Size is expected to reach USD 8,275,900,000 U.S. dollars by 2030, at a CAGR of 85.73% during the forecast period 2021 to 2030.

As the old master used to say, if BRN captures just 1% of the market.
1% of AI market 2030 =$200 billion
1% of Neuromorphic market 2030 =$82,759,000

Happy days are just around the bend, my opinion only.
Further to my pondering, even if we were to get 1/100th of 1% of market share by 2030 this still equates to $2 Billion in our back pocketo_O I for one will not be complaining:cool:
