This new generation AKIDA has taken Brainchip's technology lead out to at least the five years Peter van der Made predicted.

It has also added 8 bits to catch out Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia and Samsung at the game they were trying to play.

It is already set to be made available by Edge Impulse so those 60,000 developers will be extremely busy.

It has introduced Transformers as Rob Telson alluded to in his podcast with Carnegie Mellon.

It has literally blown everyone else out of the water.

Key words for this old technophobe are:

OBJECT TRACKING & PREDICTION & Later in the announcement AUTOMOTIVE.

WHY?

Remember a certain Mr. Musk and a certain Mr. Van der Made speaking about the plastic bag blowing across the road issue that needed to be resolved for fully autonomous driving to be made possible. Well if you do you will know that you need to track the plastic bag and predict what it is going to do and what if any action your vehicle needs to take.

This is a momentous development not just for Brainchip and shareholders because these new talents in a tiny low powered unconnected edge device opens up an entirely new global future across not just automotive but literally the industries which do not yet exist but have been dreamed about.

Monitoring elderly in their own homes and predicting when they are not behaving in a usual fashion and could be at risk in a private and secure setting is just one possible new industry.

Drones monitoring surf beaches and rivers for swimmers who are approaching a dangerous life threatening situation. Farmers leaving irrigation and pest control systems to manage every square inch of their farming enterprises without need for the cloud or risk of being hacked.
