At least we won't be following Prophesee any time soon.

I think a good move.

“With the growing momentum of our 2nd generation AkidaTM products, and our exceptional TENNS solutions which excel in streaming data at the edge, we recognise the need to accelerate investments to drive growth and solidify our market leadership. While maintaining a prudent approach to cash management, having access to funding from our well-respected partners at LDA Group, enhances our ability to ensure business continuity and remain competitive against well-capitalized industry peers.” said Sean Hehir, CEO, BrainChip.

More dilution and an indicator that revenue isn’t expected anytime soon, I‘m guessing the market won’t like this.

i truely hoped that this rise was sustainable due to the two recent announcement, but I don’t think they’re enough yet. Still, it gives me optimism that our tech is starting become accepted. Fingers crossed for further validation this year by the means of a bigger player in the tech space becoming a licencee.

Is it normal to have the issue date so far ahead instead of just getting them now 30/6/25

I know someone who speaks French.

But she's not in the mood to sing today...

Only issue I guess is the implication that we are not going to be self funding any time soon.............
Yes & hopefully no. I see this as a responsible move to ensure we maintain operations until such time as financial stability arrives. Certainly the two recent announcements are significantly positive but there is nothing about them that would suggest they would be enough in the near term to balance the books. This is responsible management. They are obviously expecting that more deals will be signed but not relying on it.
Plan for the worst and expect the best. Very wise IMHO.

LDA wouldn't throw good money after bad. A vote of confidence I'd say...

In my opinion, there are instances where contracts may not be signed until sufficient proof of financial stability is provided, ensuring the company has the necessary funds to operate and sustain itself in the long term / support company X to the product launch point....The last thing you want is to sign a contract, only for the company to go bankrupt shortly after. This scenario is comparable to when people put money on a house deposit a few years ago only for the company to go under 1-2 hours later where families lost everything, we are just on a much larger scale of dollars.

Judging by the negative Nancy's tripping over themselves and posting multiple times on the crapper, this looks like good news, or maybe their rabid enthusiasm, is because they sense blood in the water..

BrainChip just successfully raised, via a standard CR, abandoning the LDA method (although keeping the option open, but was supposed to expire on the 31st of December?..).

They abandoned it last time, because the "formula" was proving unworkable, or detrimental to the share price.

So it seems to me, that perhaps they see this as a minimally dilutive method again, that will provide customer assurance of being a continuing concern?..

Hi robsmark,

Yes, more dilution but hopefully nothing on the scale that we saw with the last placement of 110 million shares at 19.3 cents. 40M shares to be issued with a target of $20M.

Revenue will be an issue for a while yet. The navy contract for $1.8M usd minus $800K to an undisclosed subcontractor and a free license to Frontgrade albeit with a very big royalty won't go far to cover the costs of business in 2025. Is there a big fish ready to sign? Hopefully soon!!

While being supportive of the share price, like it was on the first couple of runs?..

Unless there’s a price sensitive Announcement to follow in the very near future, I can’t have any positive spin that’s put on this .

Extremely disappointing

So the agreement for $0.50 a share.

So @40,000,000 shares
÷ $20,000,000
____________
= $ 0.50

More dilution, but I will take 50c for now.

Learning 🪴
yep if people want to sell under this 50c, well be my guest :) I will take 50c as the opening benchmark

Who knows, maybe the cash has something to do with Prophese?, acquisition? bits of?
Lots of synergy's. Lots of market
Lots of wishful thinking. o_O

I can in one word - Prophesee.

We do not want to be another company with good tech that goes to the wall. In my opinion we should not be looking at any acquisitions until we have runs on the board and dollars in the bank. It becomes a distraction which we do not need now. Let’s keep banging the Akida 2 and TENNS drum, then let’s see what happens. I see this as giving us a bit of strength in negotiations I.e. we are not quite as desperate to get any old deal, but the right deal for the company. Just my interpretation and opinion.

Ericcson are all over this. good news is that they have been using Akida in their research from at least 2022

A Communication stack prototype for AI-enabled ZE-IoT devices To demonstrate the feasibility of low-energy AI and low-energy communication in a ZE-IoT device, we have built an example use case, as illustrated in Figure 4. The ZE-IoT device consists of a low-power camera, a neuromorphic AI chip (the Akida neural chip from BrainChip), a low-power radio and a solar panel. The application assumes that the camera takes a picture (e.g., when triggered by a motion sensor), runs a neural network to create the neural embedding of the image (i.e., extracts the neural features from the image), and sends the neural embedding vector via a custom radio stack tailored for AI data that implements approximate and intermittent communication.

This makes me wonder. In the early phases could we put pressure on getting a massive license deal by only offering an IP license to 2 firms in an industry and chuck a premium on that and an ACT NOW. Nees some thought but knowing you will have exclusivity in some form could trigger a biddding war.
