Hey charles,Buena suerte se convirtió en buena suerte!
Finalmente.
I'd like to congratulate Sean, for finally losing his IP virginity and of course the entire BrainChip Team, for their efforts!
What's notable, is that this licence agreement, is for AKIDA 1.0 IP!!
10% royalty, of the net sale price, is a huge margin!
Not likely to be a huge volume product, but derisks the AKIDA Technology further.
AKIDA 2 0 and TENNs licence agreements are practically guaranteed now, just a matter of Time and will be for Large Volume terrestrial products.
Good Fortune to All real holders, this is just the Beginning.
Yes, that often happens. I used to work for Honeywell in the '80's and witnessed this phenomenon at first hand. Laser inertial navigation and high speed fibre optic modems are just two examples of technology originally developed for defence purposes but quickly found their way into commercial applications - once the military allowed it of course. GPS is another example. In the early years of its use the satelittes were owned and operated by defence and although they allowed commercial use after some time they restricted it's non-military use to far lesser accuracy than for their own purposes...........Don't they say it first comes to space and defence then down to everything else
Is the Ant61 Beacon different from the Ant61 Repair robot that includes AKD?Good day for the Aussies

Exciting news!
ANT61 has signed our first distribution deal with major Japanese satellite risk consulting company SOMPO Risk Management, a sister company to the country’s major satellite insurer, Sompo.
This is a huge commercial milestone for ANT61, and we anticipate significant growth potential with as many as hundreds of Beacons in orbit over the next 5 years
The Beacon satellite module, built by ANT61, will join Sompo Risk Management’s suite of satellite risk management services, allowing it to enhance its insurance service offerings. The Beacon decreases the financial risk of satellite missions by delivering real-time satellite data for improved risk monitoring and decision making 🛰.
Sompo Risk Management will also act as the main point of contact for the Japanese market to procure and install Beacon modules on their satellites.
The Beacon allows users to ‘see in the dark’ by monitoring satellite health, orbital parameters, and radiation effects. It also offers satellite recovery capabilities, enabling uninterrupted, continuous, real-time communication to satellites. This allows satellite manufacturers to invest in more complex satellite systems by minimising mission risk, which reduces insurance premiums and, thus, overall mission cost.
ANT61 is thrilled to provide the Japanese market with improved satellite capabilities through this distribution deal.
We couldn’t ask for a better partner! Thank you very much, Tomohiro and James, for working tirelessly on the SOMPO side to make this happen in a record-breaking timeframe. We would like to extend our gratitude to the brilliant Investment NSW and Austrade teams in Tokyo and Sydney, who worked with us to get this deal over the line!
To enquire about the Beacon, please contact: info@ant61.com![]()
Shall I ask Santa for a 3rd present as seemed to have gotten the 1st two
I'll take the lot!
If you're unsure its probably best to ask the company, rather than make the enquiry to a site full of anonymous posters...........Fantastic to news to be sure.
But......
It wouldn't be a BRN ann without some questions.
We are to receive 150,000 (Euro) from our role in the project, is this same money that was announced in the last 4C? Or is it additional income?
There does not appear to be an actual license fee attached to this agreement.
"Under this new commercial Akida IP licence agreement, BrainChip is entitled to receive a 10%
royalty on the Net Sale Price of Frontgrade’s first licensed product in exchange for providing Akida
1.0 IP that includes one hundred hours of integration support and twenty-four months of software
maintenance."
This could be a day we all wear out the refresh button on the computer.
Bit wary of the gap down to 25c.......
Good Morning TheDrooben ,Bit wary of the gap down to 25c.......
Gaps are psychological Larry..Bit wary of the gap down to 25c.......
Yes could turn into a breakaway gap @DingoBorat ......make no mistake I am not trading it, in fact I have never sold a single BRN share in 4 years and have continued to buy. TA trading usually makes it's own prediction's true.........I have just become wary of those predictions. Great couple of announcements over the last couple of weeks........time to shine IMOGaps are psychological Larry..
They do have power, "purely" for that reason, but this gap has occurred because of a change in information.
If the ASX ran 24 hours (which there is no "real" reason for a limitation on trading hours) then there would be no gaps.
A lot of things can change, while the Market is closed and there is necessary catch up, whether positive or negative, when it opens.
