Now hold your guns pls, as this query goes back a while and is for for the LTHs

Q. What was the wash up from the evaluation of Akida by the French military \ security, Rockwell Collins (Now Collins Aerospace) , Safran and the Connecticut casino? Had personally never heard of any of these links before ( but maybe I’ve just go a very poor memory )

The attached snip is from 2017 Defence Connect

Then there must be another explanation as to why Ford has been removed from investor presentations.
The serious answer is that on more than one occasion starting with the first announcement Brainchip tried to keep secret Ford's identity but the ASX required a second announcement compelling Brainchip to disclose Ford.

Since that time at least twice when Ford's name was not mentioned in a 4C or Annual Report someone contacted Brainchip the last one I remember if the trauma of the other place has not affected my memory to much, it was Stan emailing Tony Dawe and getting a response that Brainchip was still engaged with Ford. I think that these emails were reported by 'share fool' and moderated fairly quickly by HC as unsubstantiated information.

My personal view and that is all it is, is that Ford did not want to be disclosed and continue with that same mind set. The disclosure by Mercedes that AKIDA gives a 5 to 10 times saving over conventional systems is certainly proof of the fact that AKIDA would offer Ford a Kryptonite type strategic advantage in the US market.

I wrote in my last post that I will stop following the forum so much but I can't stay away because we have so many excellent posters here that can dig up interesting information and others that can connect the dots making it very interesting reading, so I guess I was lying, sorry;)

I am getting more and more excited the more I read and connect my own dots, the possibilities with Alkida is just totally mind-blowing and it looks to me that more and companies are starting using our chips and we will rapidly gain traction here during 2022 I firmly believe.

I have decided that I have to buy around 25k more shares despite some of my friends have warned me and saying; don't put all your eggs in one basket, especially in a little start-up company! This is far from the case but okay if I buy those shares on top of what I have, my fairly modest portfolio will be quite heavy loaded by BRN.

I argue hard with my friends and tell them that it's you that are blind and can't see the wood because of all the trees:)

Please give me input, should I take some of my retirement cash (I am early retired at 60) out and buy those shares or should I just keep them in the bank, dropping in value every day due to the heavy WW inflation?

Fxxx it, I will be putting in a limited order for 25k at 0.9 and see how that pans out.

Thanks to all the great contributors on the board, you are truly awesome.

This is not financial advise all in my opinion. But there are some books and strategies that have shown benifits of all eggs in one basket keeping the easter theme going.

It's also hard to understand how the market works and prices are pumped and manipulated down but that's out of the general investors control.

I will add that I have invested for 20 plus years in the markets and had wins losses and big losses. I analyze the losses cause a win is easy what you need it to learn from the losses to invest trade better.

One thing that sticks in my mind with small cap stocks there management and CEO hype the like crazzy and sell the market a blue sky story.

This I have not seen management do at anytime scince u have followed the stock. Louis may have been a little excited but the rest of the crew have been working hard. You also know that the CEO is serious when he's asked how can we monitor company progress with a reply like watch earning they will tell the story. To me that's a real honest awnser and my other marker is employee growth.

You need to do what you think is best for you and your risk tolarance mate!

This is what I would do, and in some ways am doing. At 60 I would put the 25k in BrainChip no question about it. If it goes tits up I would get a job as a paper boy (if that still exists in Australia) or mow peoples lawns for a year.

Casinos went nowhere - I predicted this at the time as my background told me that Casinos make their money from high rollers with tax problems and drug dealers and money launderers who do not want to be properly monitored - Crown Casino’s approach proves my point.

I had a discussion with the former CEO about the Casino industry at an AGM wherein once I made him aware of my background he agreed that Casinos were not an appropriate target but they had been locked in before he came on board. I was pleased that he was not intending that the company should focus their efforts there in the future.

Safran the last time we heard they had bought a couple of Studio licences for factories they were building in India then the former CEO said there was to be some sort of tender process and there after not a word was spoken.

Rockwell Collins they trialled Studio for perimeter surveillance and that was spoken about favourably and then they were acquired or partnered or whatever it was and became Collins Aerospace and not a word was spoken.

The French Homeland Security and Police was on its face going like a house on fire trialling Studio and rolling it out and a French Police Inspector even appeared at the Paris Milipol trade show on the Brainchip booth presenting about the marvel that was Studio then almost overnight in fact it was overnight not another word was spoken to this day.

This is my immediate off the top of my head recollection others might have a different recollection.

I am sure the prices in Australia would shock me, they always do. I remember over 10 years ago handing over $20 at the bar in Brisbane for a round of 4 beers. I waited for change but it never came.

Thankyou FF, Now that‘s what I call gold standard service!
Very disappointing though, particularly Collins & Safran
Although Safran appear to be still working on AI within their aero systems and maintenance
Probably no chance with the Frenchies following the sub saga even if there was one

Hi Guzzi,

My input re your question comes with the disclaimer that I have absolutely no idea of what I’m talking about. Whilst Dio talks about electrons, memristors and weights my mosquito trap discusses salt, rum, sticks and rocks; so we are on completely different levels. :)

I am heavily invested in Brainchip and I am very confident with where it’s at.

Do you believe in the technology, e.g. is it fake?

If it’s real is there a need for it? I think yes.

Are companies taking it up? NASA, Mercedes and the long list FF has produced appears to be.

Is the Brainchip run by reputable leading professionals? I think yes.

Is there money to sustain Brainchip until it becomes self sustainable/profitable? From memory about $50 million.

Do I see Brainchip going bankrupt/bust or failing? No. We are at the leading edge of a revolutionary technology. I see it being taken up by at least the EAP’s who have heavily invested to get it operational in their products. Reality is, there might be an unknown technology about to come out which surpasses Akida, I doubt it. And if it does I am hopeful it is Akida 2000. But it would be foolish to think it couldn’t happen. Look at VHS vs Beta! Beta was actually the better product but VHS won that battle. This is why I agree with Mr. Hehir’s philosophy of getting Akida out there as quickly as possible so it becomes the defacto standard!

Is the Brainchip moving from R & D to commercialisation? Again yes.

So my opinion is that Brainchip is moving from virtually no income to large commercial agreements. That equates to me a rise in the share price.

In reality it will take time but the possibilities are massive.

However Brainchip might just make a little profit and only double or triple my investment. To me it still means over the course of the next 5 years the SP will go up and much more than the bank can offer me. Even if we were to be bought out (which I very very highly doubt) that would have to be profitable or else the Shareholders would say no.

So for the next 5 years at least I consider Brainchip to be a good investment with potential to be an ASX unicorn over a longer period.

Your personal circumstances dictate how much you can afford to lose and your personality etc determines your mindset and how much you are prepared to put at risk.

I wish I could speak to how super etc works but my super legislation won’t let me touch mine. That legislation changes in November so I’ll see where the SP is around then as to what action I take as I will need financial and tax advice to give me some guidance also. I am confident in the company at it’s current SP but it’s got to mathematically make sense to make the change.

Good Luck and remember: ”I know nothing!”

I would personally not write off Collins Aerospace as AKIDA offered more features than Studio and the security side of aerospace may well keep things out of the light.

The same story goes for Safran. AKIDA offers much more than Studio did. Safran is large in Australia which I did not know until reading about them after the sub deal went south and it was the Australian Government not private Australian companies involved in that contract rescission.

The same goes for the French Police and Homeland Security. The French arm of Brainchip was the foundation stone of that engagement and the dispute over the subs was Government to Government. Once again AKIDA added an extra dimension to what they were doing and I personally as a result of my background could always see this going stealth.

If you want to see this in play just go into any Court where a major drug importation case is being tried and at some point you will see entered into evidence a certificate exempting discovery of details of the technology used to listen to the private conversations of the accused on the basis that to release such information would prejudice present and future operations.

So to be clear I would not write them off but I would not hit speed dial to your mortgage broker either.
