Did you all here about this :
Pfizer willing to pay $100 million for a smart phone app that can hear a cough signature for covid.
Just wait till Pfizer learns about the listening capability of Akida.

@Taproot the current offer is manifestly too low. It won't pass the EGM. But the politics behind it should play out well for shareholders. It just needs time to flush out other interested bidders.

I have made a short list of Fabless Communication Companies.

27min53sec
I would simply say without the name. We're heavily engaged right now with a um in an engagement model with a communications company and I wouldn't have thought it was necessarily a use case but what they're interested in is of course some artificial intelligence company but they don't build chips(Fabless) But they're going to perhaps buy our IP if you know if they decide to do and of course then they'll work on behalf so you can look at it this way any industry that wants to have artificial intelligence on an edge kind of application is really fair game and they're either going to buy a standard chip from us or they can go from company and have one built on behalf of or they can own the IP and design themselves so we're refining our engagement model because we're getting inquiries from all three of those constituents at the same time.

Short list of Fabless Communication Companies.

Apple market cap $2.736 Trillion

Broadcom market cap $238.87 Billion

Qualcomm market cap $154.87 Billion

MEDIATEK market cap $47.74 Billion MEDIATEK owns Analog Devices (interesting website)

What other Fabless Communication Companies are there?

Lumen Technologies, Inc.

(formerly CenturyLink) is an American telecommunications company headquartered in Monroe, Louisiana, that offers communications, network services, security, cloud solutions, voice, and managed services. The company is a member of the S&P 500 index and the Fortune 500.

It is Fabless.

It is in partnership with Cisco that Brainchip has been partnered with in the past.

It is a Fortune 500 company.

Ticks all the boxes

Is partnered with AWS - enter stage left FU Baconlover and all his dots from BRN to AWS

Plus it likes the Edge and understands the need to process close to the source of data creation to optimise bandwidth.

Sean never lets any at all slip when it comes to customers we are working with so when he says we are close to signing a license with a major telco in my opinion it’s pretty much a done deal and they have given him permission to talk about it.
All my opinion stay tuned.

Me again

I recently contacted Kris Carlson regarding how his presentations went at the recent TinyML summit.

Received a nice reply early this morning.

"Things went great ! Nice to be able to speak person to person again "

Next to Anil, I'd say Kris is next in ranking with regards his engineering brilliance.

Would be great to meet a number of our senior staff over the coming years, now that travel has started opening up again, maybe a few could travel to Australia and be introduced in person to the solid Australian shareholder base, starting in Perth of course !! 😍

Haven't gone through any of the speakers / program yet but I see our Partner involved, sponsoring & exhibiting at the Spring RISC-V week in Paris with a number of other industry players & academia.

Would be interesting if some cross over conversations had about Akida ;)

I have a bit of a different take on the interview from Sean then the current narrative... Dont shoot me down..

It feels like to me that he is quite frustrated and concerned by just how many NDAs there are (just like most of us). I say this only because he literally said 'I am just wanting to get the word out. That is what is keeping me up at night". Now i don't know about most of you but not to many things keep me up at night besides stress....

One of the first things Sean did when he got to Brainchip was hire Jerome Nadel, I feel because he understands that by being tied into so many NDAs it inhibits the companies growth prospects. We have all seen what positive announcements do for the company and by not being able to announce these partnerships it means it is a lot more difficult to get word of mouth out... Jerome has a big job on his hands.....

I remember reading a comment by FF about time, and whilst the optimist in me says sit back and relax because in time the share price will take care of itself the pessimist tells me time is off the essence because you never know when there is another Brainchip just around the corner waiting to disrupt even our technology.......

Anyway, this is just me venting my concerns and hoping for a little more excitement then just a 4C every few months and finally as Sean said 'We have one of the best kept secrets in the world'. I don't know about all of you but i HATE secrets!!! Especially this one! haha

I get where you are coming from Euks but sometimes secrets are important.

About 30 years ago I held quite a high level security clearance (I’m not a risk or disclosing sensitive information by stating that now) but secrets were important to achieving an objective. Not keeping secrets can affect outcomes and/or lives.

If it means a company we are working with will be successful and make billions of dollars then it is worth keeping secrets because it means Brainchip will be successful also.

Not complying with an NDA would cost Brainchip significantly: legally, integrity, confidence in us and financially.

As I’ve said before I think there will come a time when companies will be clambering to announce they have Akida on board!

Our partner Megachips is an interesting example maybe we need to learn from. No one knows all the customers they have (Nintendo exception).

Do they trade under market value?

It may be that until we get to break-even and there is a revenue growth history each quarter / half that this is a problem for us.

I don't intend to shoot you down but the beauty of the English language is that it can mean so many things to so many different people and on this occasion we disagree about the correct interpretation of what Sean Hehir said and what FF was talking about.

So starting in reverse order being an authority on FF I can say that what he was talking about was anxiety being induced by people who use time as a weapon against an investor.

This is an entirely different concept to the time that Brainchip has to take advantage of its first to market opportunity of about three years.

I would argue that to suggest that Brainchip has not utilised its time to advantage is completely wrong. They have deals sown up with MegaChips and Renesas. They have Mercedes, Valeo, NASA and Vorago as announced early adopters and they have about 11 further EAP's all of which bar one are continuing and will convert according to my understanding of Sean Hehir.

Given Sean Hehir described the secrecy as the Kryptonite of these yet to be disclosed EAP's I do not read his language as suggesting he is in any way frustrated or worried about not being able to reveal their names. It strikes me that truth be told it is only shareholders who care at this stage.

Having listened closely to what keeps him up at night it was something that I aligned strongly with and it was being concerned that he is doing everything possible to get the word out to potential customers not shareholders.

The reality is Shareholders myself included are a pain in the arse. They get in the way of doing his job which is to put the name Brainchip on the lips of every possible customer for AKIDA technology around the globe.

He even said when talking about what Jerome Nadel has planned for the second half this year that it is not aimed at shareholders but it is an assault on the market for AKIDA technology.

The use of the term 'best kept secret' cannot be directed at shareholders because unless one is a clueless dimwit you must have heard the name Brainchip to be invested and have some idea that they do something in the semiconductor Ai space. Hence Brainchip and AKIDA are not a secret from the point of view of shareholders.

This comment was clearly aimed at the market for Ai Edge computing chips and the Ai Research communities around the globe. Sean Hehir has spoken about getting universities and researchers onboard testing and playing with AKIDA so as to get the word out.

Personally if I have a beef with Sean Hehir it is that he speaks too often about what he thinks has not been done to raise the companies market profile in the past when full commercialisation was only achieved three months after he took up his role and according to him it was amongst other things the quality of the engagements that Brainchip already had which induced him to take the position of CEO. Again though this may be down to how I interpret what he has said and it is not the meaning he intends to convey. Once he has the marketing plan up running his language around this will likely change.

On agreement disclosures, what I found interesting was that one of the first slides in the presentation was the Mercedes ‘news’, yet that didn’t make an an asx announcement, as it supposedly wasn’t deemed price sensitive? Which I’m still getting my head around

End of the day, if the customer wants to signup but the catch is they dont want you spruiking their name, then fine by me, I’ll take their money

Brainchip is a relative no name compared to the big players, so a risk averse client may think, what have I got to gain by announcing our relationship just yet

Euks I agree with Slade.

This reply is mostly directed towards Euks.

Akida has been validated
Akida has been released as a commercial product @ 30% greater power efficiency, with the help of engineers from our EAP's and NDA's.
Our product has been picked up by Mercades, who have openly stated they are using brainchip.

There is another time I never used to be able to sleep and that's the night before Christmas 🎄

Sean is excited to get the word out.

NDA's do not inhibit the company's growth, they protect it. Biggest False statement I've read on your post @Euks.

Dr Dre had a NDA with Apple to protect the intellectual property of beats before it was released to the market. The deal was still being worked on even if there was a NDA.
Infact Dr Dre almost blew the deal because he broke the NDA and held a party to celebrate the deal. History will show Dr dre and Ken Irvine became billionaires even though they had NDA's in place with Apple.

Taken out of context this sounds a bit worriesome as you have left out an important part, this was Seans response to the question asked directly as "what keeps you up at night?" not Sean just coming out and saying Im worried and losing sleep stressing about getting the word out. Sean has framed his answer to suit the question asked. IMO

My impression re Sean's energetic response regarding the undisclosed nature of our EAP's was just one of a natural frustration at not being able to YELL THEIR NAMES FROM THE ROOFTOPS at this point in time, and what was probably just a hint of pique around being asked the same question over and over. I admire and respect his discipline and think he's doing a grand job so far.

As to the share holder's who don't quite know what they've lucked into, Bless 'em and their little cotton sox......:)
Hang in there Bubba's, our shrimp boats are on the way. :)
