There are so many possibilities for using Akida that it's hard to list them all. Whether it's energy efficiency, object recognition, smell detection, object condition assessment, the ability to fundamentally optimize other applications, or previously unconsidered applications that are yet to be discovered or only become possible with AI. I don't know about you, but I'm not worried about whether we can position ourselves. Instead, I'm concerned about whether we (or our licensing partner) can serve them all… 🫨Very interesting. Will we be next?

What usually happens is that BRN and VVDN would sort out how many Edge boxes are to be made in total and it would be agreed how many are available for BRN to sell leaving the Lions share for the client VVDN to sell. The edge box is out and available for pre-order! A few photos with the cover off to show the ports and other details would be nice. Futher, the specifications say "AI/ML Accelerator: 2 x AKD1000 (BrainChip Akida Chip) Over PCIe" which is interesting. I am hoping for a product demo video with one of our scientists using it in the field so other peers may see its capabilities. Well done to the team and VVDN, another milestone achieved.
Hi @Diogenese
Don’t forget that MegaChips spent the best part of 18 months having a select group of its engineers brought up to speed by Brainchip before coming out of the woodwork so they could hit the ground running with their customers. (Brainchip even said customers who needed assistance would be referred on by them to MegaChips because of this training.)
Additionally the VP of Socionext said they looked forward to assisting Brainchip to commercialise the full AKIDA product family and because of their work to assist Anil Mankar with the design of AKD1000 they must be very switched on to how it works and it’s implementation.
Then TATA Consulting Services clearly have a group of engineers and data scientists who having worked with Brainchip closely since 2019 at least also have a significant depth of knowledge and practical understanding.
Finally there is Edge Impulse whose platform’s purpose in life is to facilitate customer uptake of Brainchip AKIDA IP.
Brainchip is definitely not facing ubiquity alone with a torch, screw driver and soldering iron.
In one word ECOSYSTEMS are CRITICAL.

The cat's thinking 'Damn you Akida, you've outsmarted me this time. I'll get you next time'View attachment 56899
The camera captured perfectly the cat's slightly pissed off, annoyed expression, at having to "wait" to be let into "its" home.
I'm afraid, there's no AKIDA to be seen here.
As opposed to the unhealthy correction we have endured over the last couple of years!!Would prefer to call it a healthy correction rather than a "glitch"

Very interesting indeed, a number of our products have been confirmed as SOLD OUT
Yes shareholders, 2024 is just starting to become critical as demand for Brainchip's technology is about to go up a notch or 3
Love our company...Tech![]()
Maybe it shown as sold out as they ain’t got any for sale just yet. I used to sell things online and put the item up for sale before I’d even got them, but them had marked as sold out, because it’s always good to get the algorithms to start picking up the product as soon as possible. Plus I would have thought we might have got some sort off social media announcement.Powered by Akida- How good!
You're right, if it's the wrong cat, it's saying something completely different, but with a lot less words (2 to be exact) and not as "nicely" as you put itThe cat's thinking 'Damn you Akida, you've outsmarted me this time. I'll get you next time'![]()
$US799 a pop - That's ~ $AU1200 - I wonder how many have been pre-sold?![]()

Here is a wild thought.
VVDN are the makers of Edge Boxes for Nvidia and Qualcomm and others. This kind of gives them a bit of knowledge about the Edge Box market and demand.
Brainchip has never made an Edge Box or sold one let alone one with a revolutionary neuromorphic chip as the power house.
What does Brainchip do in those circumstances? I don’t know maybe ask the expert VVDN how big should we make the first production run.
VVDN says well based on our past sales of other Edge Boxes we think you should order ‘X’ number. Okay says Brainchip.
VVDN produce and ship ‘X’ number to Brainchip.
Sales explode. VVDN apologise to Brainchip saying we never expected a reaction like that the market just loves them we can give you another slot just give the word.
Just a wild thought as I said.

PS: Major companies like AMD and Nvidia sold out of GPUs when CHATGpt exploded. The selling out of GPUs made Sam Altman a tech legend (and very rich).
It's like a North Korean supermarket!

What happens if the cat tries to enter backwards with its tail up??The cat's thinking 'Damn you Akida, you've outsmarted me this time. I'll get you next time'![]()
Maybe as part of the design, if the cat door doesn't recognise the cat it has a spray deterrentWhat happens if the cat tries to enter backwards with its tail up??![]()
