BRN Discussion Ongoing

This from Micklepickle, any thoughts:

Brainchip Holdings Ltd (ASX: BRN)
The Brainchip share price is down over 10% to 17 cents. Investors have been selling off this struggling semiconductor's shares since Intel announced incredible new solutions in the same field as Brainchip. This adds to intense competition from a number of huge tech behemoths that spend billions on R&D each year. And with a lofty market capitalisation of $300 million, no revenue, significant ongoing cash burn, and a need for a capital raising in the near future, there could still be plenty more downside to come.
...and these idiots dont have a motive here?!

Even if the Title of this article was "We Currently Have a Short Position on Brainchip" I'd still think the contents of this article was over the top.

Where’s the proof in ‘they continue to sell their holdings’ ? If you are going to make statements like this you need to back it up.

DYOR.

www.google.com.au will help you.

(Yesterday you made statement about management being commercial pros.
No evidence. But you made that statement anyway. Cute. )

They have always been one sided.

No different to someone who posts copy pasted articles with red smilies everywhere claiming it has Akida. After saying it for 568 companies eventually 1 will be right.
Then they can show the arms / biceps and flex 💪

Some difference - they’re a business that should give a balanced view. The rest are shareholders with zero accountability to anyone but themselves.

But I take your point.

Most of the media are one sided.
Depends who's funding them.
I'm sure if BRN becomes their Diamond sponsor they'll speak plenty in favour.
Case in point: business insider, eetimes etc.

The proof is in their backgrounds which is published on the BrainChip website. Where’s the proof of their continued selling? Show me that money.

Like it or not, I certainly did not like reading that, but he was right all this time from the days when Brainchip was worth over $1B.

I believe the current hype from the AI giants is mostly on generative AI which is not the area Brainchip excels in. I guess it is always easier for Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm and the like to sell chips than a little Brainchip with no track record. Would an AI product manufacturer rather have Intel or one of the biggies behind them when developing new AI products? As they said in the eighties, you won't get sacked for buying IBM.

Yup, no doubt about that mate he certainly was correct. No amount of dot joins or backslapping or circle jerking can change that. A very big financial cluster fick in opportunity cost for some buying at much higher prices.
I'l be honest, some of the super ramps and long bows drawn here and at the other place influenced my peanut brain to buy at higher prices. That's my own fault but costly lesson learned..
Anyway onwards upwards?

Actually Akida 2 is well equiped with ViT and TENs to improve GenAI from an edge perspective once that becomes important enough.

That is what we feel. But does the company management feel that way?
If they were feeling like that then definately they would had approach atleast one big tech to take a substantial holding.
On the other hand technology is new and revolutionary and it is very difficult to price it in until a real solution get into the market.
There are a lot of companies starting working on SNNs and their patent applications are showing the same. There is a hope that sales will come but it may be come as quick as dot joiners. I feel getting excited and bullish is good thing, but over excitement and bullishness is not good and that is what is happening on this platform.

No more than 1 hour after posting this, my wife had a bit of a breakdown. She has been doing really well, but today got to her. Can someone give me a pep talk now? 🤦🏼‍♂️ 😂

She just feels as though we must have missed something to cause it going from $2 - 18c

I tried the best I could to reassure her, but it is friggin hard to see you life savings under attack including 70% of life’s super.

What are people actual thoughts on why we are free falling? Let’s have a moment of real talk. I can’t think of one logical reason other than manipulation and uneducated retail freaking out.. in fact I only see positive after positive, but if anyone can think of 1 good reason to why we are free falling let me know. I need to know

Undoubtedly trying times for us shareholders. A number of posters have already replied to you reassuringly, expressing their (and also my) belief that the steep downward slide of the share price is multifactorial, but has nothing to do with our company’s sound fundamentals and its future growth potential at the extreme edge, just like you said yourself. The free fall of the share price in inverse correlation to Brainchip’s verifiable progress reminded me of a picture that I had posted in another (BRN-unrelated) thread a couple of months ago and that I’d like to share with you now.

While both my photo and comment happen to be about black and white swans, please note they do not relate to Nassim Nicholas Taleb’s theory of black swan events. And it’s sad that I have to explicitly state this, but with so many online trolls around, twisting one’s words, I’d better clarify upfront that the black/white dichotomy is of course not meant to carry any racist undertones whatsoever, along the lines of someone with a lighter skin colour being superior to someone with a darker complexion.

I would also like to apologise in advance to all waterfowl of the species Cygnus atratus that I personally do not perceive to be any less graceful than their majestic white cousins. As well as to to all residents or natives of WA, who - I am sure - dearly love their state bird emblem. And last but not least I’d kindly ask you to ignore the fact that besides their dark plumage black swans may have a slightly different silhouette as opposed to mute swans.

So without further ado, here is said picture and what I had posted at the time (totally unrelated to the BRN share price):

b3282e2f-c8e6-429a-8505-b76b51cabab7-png.45019.png

“(…) here is a sunset picture I took a couple weeks ago. What kind of swans do you see? Black ones or white ones? Well, at first sight they may APPEAR to be black due to the backlighting effect (especially if you live in Down Under and are used to seeing black swans all the time), but if you zoom in closer, you will actually be able to make out the white feathers of the swan standing. Why am I posting this picture? To demonstrate that sometimes things are not what they seem to be at first sight.”

Shockingly many stock market participants are mistaking BRN for a black swan - they take a glance at our company and think they’ve seen enough, dismissing it as just another small cash-burning start-up, that has failed miserably in commercialising their professed revolutionary tech, even though AI (they mean Generative AI) is on everyone’s lips these days; they see a sea of red flags such as the plummeting share price, no substantial revenue, no new signing of IP licenses, the company’s head of sales seemingly leaving for greener pastures (some would even go as far as saying leaving a sinking ship), they interpret NDAs as an excuse to hide lack of customer interest and consider BRN’s removal from the ASX 200 as yet another sign of failure. Countless shareholders have been losing faith over time (or were forced to sell to pay their bills), and the shorters and manipulators have been making heaps of money on the way down.

However, things are not always what they seem to be at first sight.

Until the sun rises, the majority of these Brainchip bears will not realise or want to believe that what we have here is an altogether different species of swan. They will be in for a big surprise.

At the same time, others can’t be fooled as for what kind of beast this really is. They can tell, even in the dark.

No financial advice. DYOR.

So TSEX members expect a balanced view from MF but “smash the ignore button” when a balance of opinion is expressed on here?

Some would argue that advertisement revenue (or the fee to remove it) classes this as a business…
