BRN Discussion Ongoing

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
But the question is: Would BrainChip or any other company officially announce that the joint development was terminated? I would say NO. It would just not talk about it anymore, which they didn't do for for a longer time.

So we cannot be sure if it still exists.
@Fact Finder confirmed with Tony Dawe not so long ago that the partnership with Valeo remains in tact.

A couple of reasons

1) Ethically. Promoting Valeo on your website as a key partner, if they are not, is morally wrong. I believe Peter, Antonio, Anil to be of strong moral character.
2) ASX rules. Continuous Disclosure rule 3.1. If the agreement was material enough to disclose, then the termination of this agreement would also be material (IMO) and BrainChip would be in breach of rule 3.1 if they did not.

Enough is enough! I've been hearing for 5 years, we've got it! Revenue is coming, Licence's coming etc etc etc! Seeley it's time to stop the fluff and produce!!! BEFORE YOU tell me to look at the articles, scuttle butt, research etc, think about the comments! Soon, near future, lumpy, in the coming, we are presenting here. All of this is GREAT, but when! Surely if the people we have running this company are so great, they have some idea as to when. 5 years of the same rhetoric is becoming scarey. PLEASE GIVE US A REALISTIC CLUE, instead of the fluff

Wouldn’t they no longer appear on the Brainchip website if terminated
Accepted (y) ... IF the page is kept up-to-date,;) but as I have put all my trust into BrainChip for years now, I will also trust, that it is.

Hi B. Wouldn't it be fantastic to find out your right. 🤣

I'm a long-term holder and been holding this for years now. Rode highs and lows but always remained hopefull that BRN will succeed eventually. But im now less and less confident now to believe anything what BRN is publicly stating. Moving the goal post at every broken promise is not confidence boosting. I'm not saying this because of the half yearly. As anyone I expected nothing else but only a surprise just in case, which as usual not to be there. But my main concern is potential customer r deferring engagement till AKD 2. Unless this is another move by brn to buy more time to keep LTHs dream alive, if true I understand customers will prefer the new beter akd2 over old akd 1. But as brn itself stated development cycle (assessment adopting production)will take 3yr +. So this mean are we looking for yet another more than 3 years of oblivion of BRN story? How many things can change by that time??
I really wish brn prove my pessimism is wrong sooner than later..anyway better or worse I'll ride this till to the end and worse case, I'll live my life as its now..

Hi Sura,

BrainChip has invested a lot of resources and money to produce the more advanced Gen 2 Akida which according to BrainChip was developed in consultation with partners feedback to meet their specialised needs of what they want the chip to do. BrainChip wouldn't have gone to this extent if partners or prospective customers do not intend to proceed with IP contracts otherwise I view that as tyre kicking. That's my logic.

Basic fact of the matter.
A licensing contract must be secured for future supply of IP into a product. Renesas and Megachips have secured the first 2. Development cycle varies on what product will be using the IP. Licensing deals can still be signed.
Companies do this all the time. Chinese firm SynSense are a rival AI firm and they have secured funding from Ausvic Capital, large investment consortium and cut a deal with BMW. (Still in partnership stage but which could turn into a contract )

Now this means BrainChip need to start securing the deals. Even if IP of the Gen 2 Akida will be implemented at a future date into products, that's all good, but a glorious commercial contract or license deal is what we would like to see. Now it's up to management to execute.
I think BrainChip should secure some cornerstone investor funding instead of just relying on LDA capital. A company like ARM or another large tech is the perfect candidate to invest into BrainChip and this would be the best PR for the company.

This is not a positive. Well done to the 50 odd people that liked ROBT "buying up big" post
It took 3 minutes to look up how ROBT is composed. All tech companies in this ETF are ranked into 3 categories. 30 companies per category. Each company has the SAME equal weighting with this being rebalanced quarterly.

SO the only reason they are "BUYING UP BIG" is because they have to due to BRN share price falling quarter on quarter on quarter. The "BUYING UP BIG" is to keep BRN weighted the same in the category they are in.
I guess this post wont get 50 likes even though its correct and factual.

"The share price will do what the share price will do"
Spoken by a person that will never put one dollar of his own money into the company.
LMAO... nothing factually incorrect about my post either.

I've come to the conclusion that it's 99.999% likely WE ARE ACTUALLY ON THE MOON, LIKE WE ARE LITERALLY (NOT US BUT AKIDA IS) ON THE SOUTH POLE OF THE MOON RIGHT THIS VERY SECOND!!!!

Contrary to the naysayers who reckon that Rob spends most of his days "liking" random blogs about vacuum cleaners and horny goat weed, I happen to believe the opposite and this should prove my case in point. But if I'm wrong about this, then I promise I'll stop posting for two days.

Rob Telson liked Shakeel Perra (Micrchip) Linkedin post congratulating ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) on the landing of the Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon's south pole.

Here's Rob's (y). It's just below Brian Coglan's 👍(Microchip).

And, here's a couple of extracts from an article which I highlighted which I think helps to explain why Rob likes it so much and hence why I believe WE ARE ON THE MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!.🚀🌙

How else is the rover able to learn/ adapt and respond in real-time?

We only just had Tony Dawe, confirm 2 or 3 weeks ago, that the 40 odd known Company relationships are still engaging with us..

Seems a lot of people here, just want their hand held..

Well if this is the case (that AKIDA is on the moon) then it confirms something else too - that AKIDA is being handed out for free 😲

There is alot of people doing it hard atm. High interest rates, recession and inflation causing heartache and naturally people will lash out.

Cant help to think is this generational buying opportunity like when we were hit with the first wave of covid.

Everyone should have their own personal plan and manage risk tolerance.

The HY report was as expected. That is it.

We received another patent approval, therefore increasing our value.

The exciting aspects I am looking forward to now is surely some announcement on a joint-venture or IP agreement with someone left field in the business to business capacity. The macroeconomic conditions are still pretty dire for a company to take Akida on in a consumer good capacity seeing whitegood spending and household durable goods are down in the US and Australia.

From the March announcement, it lists the use case of Akida 2 in industrial first (along with automotive, digital health, smart home and city) and the company has shown in videos that are now about two years old what Akida can do for agriculture.

Many are whining about sales, but Viana did say at the AGM that many of the negotiations are at different stages of different processes. Surely Akida 2 with its TENNs capabilities was made in mind of partner's feedback from the above sectors like industrial?

On a personal point of view, it looks like global liquidity may start turning up mid next year (unless a black swan happens... again), and if we haven't made any progress by then on a commerical point of view, that is when opportunity costs creep in. Although, I highly doubt it. I am sure we will get at least one IP contract by the end of this year, and if not, I will be asking the company why especially seeing we supposedly made Akida 2 based on feedback from prospective clients/customers.

To those who whine about revenue, remember the industry we are in. I couldn't care about a tech company's revenue in the past. ChatGPT took only one month to explode. When we are selling our product as an IP, it makes us more fluid to be in more devices faster. No traditional revenue models that many may be used to cannot be used to compare with disuptive innovative tech companies like Brainchip.

I see your point. No announcement, no revenue. Maybe it is one of those NDA or top secret collaboration BS that we are not allowed to know.

I on the other hand believe that we are not involved at all.

New technology can not be released for manufacturing which involves the safety of people without extensive research and rigorous testing.

The last investor updates had proven shorters and fools right about the company and we holders wrong. I don't know what is behind the scenes but the words were almost exact. Our 1.0 was not robust enough to support the sp. Which in other means stands no where.
I am a believer of technology and believes company will learn from their failures and come out of dark. We have better ecosystem, better products , better market insights than what we had 3 years ago. So hopefully things will change for better.
I also believe that 1st strike was an eye opener for the management and if they cannot improve in time that means we are in serious trouble now.
Dyor

The company surely must know that if they don’t hit some targets between now and the next AGM that are tangible or atleast the share price is off the canvas, they’re going to cop another strike..
