BRN Discussion Ongoing

Comforting to see that our BOD and management have followed through on their commitment undertaken at the recent AGM to increase the communication beyond the raw figures in this current 4C.
Much more commentary about the activities conducted during the period in question, except for the makeup of the revenue which we know they are wanting to keep as ambiguous as possible.
Does anyone have any plausible theories about why the Company wants to keep this most interesting factor veiled?
Is it just standard business practice?
Is it because at this early stage of commercialisation they are wanting to keep privileged and protected just what we are charging for our product? Are they embarrassed by the number and so just don't want to draw undue attention to it?
Interested to hear your views on just why they seem to be leaving the matter of the makeup of what the Company is achieving in revenue from period to period so thinly drawn at this time.

FWIW my understanding is that we don't want to "cap" our price at this stage by making it too widely known to potential customers.
We are still in the process of discovery ourselves in both a vast and rapidly evolving field of research and the commercial marketplace, inhabited by both legacy behemoths and nimble new comers, and whilst in this period of flux, we want to keep our cards as close to our chest as possible.
We are still at the stage of introducing our new products to the world and finding out just how useful we actually are.
We are still finding and identifying just who will be our suitors, collaborators and competition.
Whilst it appears atm that our magic bullet applications will be in electric vehicles (energy efficiency and latency issues), drones and spacecraft (untethered learning ability) and perhaps cybersecurity due to our unique architecture with its inherent pattern recognition advantages, our primary and distinctive purpose may not have even been conceived of yet.
Neuromorphic computing is still in its infancy and may develop in strange and unpredictable directions with devices and social outcomes as unknown to us now as the field of digital electronics and its implications were to someone living only 100 years ago.

Anywho, well done to the company for its increased volume and quality of communications and its nice to see that our feedback has been acknowledged and acted upon.

Yes HP, us retailers do mean something.

I think the headline should have read 'receipts from customers up 1975% from last quarter':LOL:

If I were a short, I'd be thinking about closing my position about now. I doubt this will go down much further and in my view with all the partnerships and the advent of Akida 2.0 on the horizon the upward SP pressure creates a serious risk for shorts.

My theory is that marketing BRN more heavily from a customer point of view would occur if that customer is reliant on the ecosystem and network similar to why BRN is establishing.. At R&D stage maybe less so, but that list of 41 certainties shows that there are many companies playing this strategy..

The real sweetener for mine would be when BRN has top line products on market from multiple customers and has a reputation built into the market.. At that stage when BRN is more synonymous mainstream with AI and breakthrough products, then customers would likely want to market the “look at us, we have the unicorn tech everyone is talking about

Great to read many appreciative posts, Sean has made an immediate adjustment to his communication style, nice to see.

I always like to undersell the revenue (sub $40,000 USD) :ROFLMAO:...our accounts are looking pretty stable at this point, and as a few have
already commented on, Sean has now reaffirmed AKD II will be available late September, so things are tracking along nicely.

The company is already considering the approach that they will take with AKD III, so nobody could package up an argument that our
team are idle, far from it, just sit back for a moment and consider the team we had in 2018/2019 to now, it's beyond solid !

56.16% held outside of the Top 20, it also remains very steady.

Are we close to having a few more IP signings between now and the end of September ?....worth pondering over.

Love Brainchip....Tech ❤️

This won’t help the shorters…

Retailers will remember what happened when the retail buyers bought small parcels all at once to burn 🥵 the shorters.

Very nice and balanced view. Yes the take up is slow but may be company is sacrificing time frames for better long term margins for we share holders.
Just selling a product is one thing but selling something at a reasonable and good price is something which involves a lot of hardwork.

Really? I am surprised to see a lot of people being happy about the quarterly report.

I thought the quarterly report was crap as usual and it had nothing to drive the change in market sentiment nor was shitty enough to cause further significant drops...

That being said, although my plan was to not buy any more brainchip stocks, I've bought more because of recent focus on edge AI & neuromorphic computing and we r on the front of it... I think market sentiment will change sooooon...

Well it was a significant improvement over the last one, revenue was up, and we were given a concrete timeframe for AKD2000 - It definitely could’ve been worse.

I seem to recall the company eluding to the idea that they wish to keep it all on the downlow, so depending on the customer, they could change/ negotiate what they charge accordingly?

So i believe it's just standard industry practice / confidentiality?

Actually, I agree, I quite liked below statement now that I think about it... well aligned with the recent news/focus on edge ai/neuromorphic engineering...

The period from March to June 2023 saw accelerated commercial and corporate activity across the Company’s global business operations

The Company is currently experiencing its highest ever level of commercial engagements, the volume and quality of which are improving rapidly as a larger number of customers learn about BrainChip and our 2nd Generation technology which will be available in late Q3.

I seem to remember a statement in the past similar to "we are currently experiencing our highest level of commercial engagements" so take this comment with a grain of salt. Commercial engagements are of no use unless they lead to the prospects being engaged becoming customers. And we haven't seen that for a looong time......

Good to see an improvement in the cash received but I'd be a LOT more interested to see where it came from. Progress payments for existing contracts (Renasas, Megachips) or new sales? I suspect the former............

IMO, It's very good to see the 4C now in a potentially building upward trend pattern ... maybe even a hockey stick pattern could be forming. IMO, things should also start improving with news coming out from the Co about the formal release of Akida 1500 and Akida Gen 2 if the tech side of things meets the Co's expectations (Peters and Anil's that is.) .... and hopfully even some more new IP's being entered into during this quarter and products being introduced into commercial products with the confirmation of Akida inside notations by certain customers which would further enhance our reputation and aid rapid commercial expansion globally for the Co.
This device is "Akida aware" ?
