More on Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4. Launch date still unknown... Will have support for external GPU's, and more. And more what I wonder?

Just my opinion, for the QUALCOMM VP in the middle of an English speaking presentation to the world, put on a French Speaking long-long piece 3+ minute, in a foreign language. No one does that. Qualcomm loves Prophessee.

It is a massive clue that Prophessee is a total darling, beloved. Is the media not showing the secret sauce due to NDAs. Perhaps Brainchip will blast.

Prophessee seams a good partner to be working with, at the itty bitty, bit level. I like my Brainchip risk/reward outlook.

French speaking clues of love, maybe Brainchip too! In the middle of this fancy meeting, the guy sends it to France!!! Just does not happen in the USA. Big Clue of love.

From 33:58 French, very unique. Yeah Brainchip the smarts behind.

Go Spike Go. Just endless movement towards what Brainchip is doing. I enjoyed this, not boring, as this Edge AI Professor hits it fast and moving. Great video for Spike Lovers.

Starts at 2:30 to take the waste away.

I need help here with the wording used , “ Exclusive, perpetual global license “ .
Perpetual means ongoing, but what is the exclusive referring to. My take on it is that PainChek will only use nViso for their artificial intelligence but the other way of reading it could be nViso will only provide this certain type of AI to PainChek and not their competitors. Any views?

I do believe that these kinds of exclusivity in agreements are always mutual.

Prophesee said in a LinkedIn exchange with @chapman89 that they are still in the early stages with Brainchip and do not yet have any sort of commercial agreement with us.

Snapdragon 8 is already available commercially so it can't be us right? Although it does sound like Akida is involved?? Some clarity around this would be great. If we were being used, there would surely have been some sort of announcement.

Thankfully, I am invested in WBT along with BRN along with a few others on here.

The main catalyst for weebits recent run are the 22nm tapeout, the Director advising that they are in discussions with multiple large fabs (incl. tier 1s) and most importantly and the reason I am posting this in here is because of apples use of a competitors reram in their next iPhone. It was the realisation of the market and validation that weebits technology works and is available today. See below.

I was hopeful that Mercedes announcement would be our catalyst but it seems the market want more. Hopefully, once our tech is announced in a major phone brand, the market will realise that we are the real deal and we have a similar run as Weebit (and this time the price stays up there).

The Sp rise is priced in for any signed agreements, hype. Why is apple looking at a competitors reram and not weebit? Still a long way to go for revenue to come in for WBT

Apple isn't looking at another competitors reram, they purchased it because it is available now. Weebits is nearly available and when it is, it has some advantages over the TSMC reram that apple has decided to go with.

WBT started in 2011 and does not have a product out yet to test or to buy.

Anyways this is a BRN forum and I was an investor in WBT. I Will buy back in when in commercial phase

BrainChip selected by U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory to develop AI-based radar

2023-02-11 16:21 HKT

https://inf.news/en/science/791bf988657af0e134c475ca748067c6.html

BrainChip, the world's first commercial producer of neuromorphic artificial intelligence chips and IP, today announced that Information Systems Laboratories (ISL) is developing an AI-based radar for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) based on its Akida™ Neural Network Processor Research solutions.

ISL is a specialist in expert research and complex analysis, software and systems engineering, advanced hardware design and development, and high-quality manufacturing for a variety of clients worldwide.

ISL focuses on areas such as advanced signal processing, space exploration, subsea technology, surveillance and tracking, cybersecurity, advanced radar systems and energy independence. As a member of the BrainChip Early Partnership Program (EAP), ISL will be able to evaluate boards for Akida devices, software and hardware support, and dedicated engineering resources.

Late edition:

This is a rehash of an earlier announcement (apoligies), but don't despair because the ISL/Army announcement is fresh and indicates we may be in with both the Army and Navy (see my post below about the fuzzy timeline).

That’s more awesome news for this week!

I love this part:

"As part of BrainChip's EAP, we had the opportunity to directly assess the capabilities Akida offers to the AI ecosystem," said Jamie Bergin, Senior Vice President, Research, Development and Engineering Solutions Manager at ISL.

BrainChip brings AI to the edge in ways not possible with existing technologies.
