I personally believe we need cars that "think like you" not cars that do not think but we hope have been trained with enough samples to get it right be they real or synthetic samples. Has anyone here had a builders wheel barrow fly off the back of a ute and land on the tyre and bounce over their car. It happened to me and I doubt that Phil Koopman will have factored that in to his training synthetic or otherwise.

Wasn't that in Mad Max?

What was that about kangaroos?

Years ago, a mate of mine with a smallish sedan was towing a trailer load of reo bars half projecting out the back of the trailer. At about 55 kph, it hit its harmonic frequency and the trailer started hopping about like a roo.

If the car could think like a human, it would need a change of underwear.

With Brainchip partnership with SiFive,
And previous speculation to:

SiFive Intelligence

SiFive Intelligence is an integrated software + hardware solution that addresses energy efficient inference applications. It starts with SiFive’s industry-leading RISC-V Core IP, adds RISC-V Vector (RVV) support, and then goes a step further with the inclusion of software tools and new SiFive Intelligence Extensions, vector operations specifically tuned for the acceleration of machine learning operations. These new instructions, integrated with a multi-core capable, Linux-capable, dual-issue microarchitecture, with up to 512b wide vectors, and bundled with TensorFlow Lite support, are well-suited for high-performance, low-power inference applications.

Intelligence Series Highlights

Key Features

  • Fully-compliant with the RISC-V ISA specification
  • Up to 8+1 coherent high-performance RISC-V application processors
  • Supports an in-cluster coherent combination of application processors with real-time processors (U and S cores)
  • Low latency caches
  • High -performance L1 memory microarchitecture
  • Physical memory protection
  • Private cache /cache locking capability for mission critical computing

Applications

  • AI/ML Inference and Training
  • Enterprise Switching/Routing/Storage, Smart NICs
  • Edge Analytics, Big-Data Analytics
  • Autonomous Machines
  • Edge Compute
  • 5G Infrastructure/Base Stations
  • AR/VR/MR/XR

Is this a possibility? Akida IP is embedded into the x280 and now chosen by Google?

So, assuming a linear relationship, ie the number of Brainchip Linkedin followers is proportional to time, then to calculate the number of followers at any given time in the future, can be expressed by the following equation:

y=10.8x + 5502,

where,
y = No. of Brainchip followers,
x = date(in Julian date code)

Therefore, by 31December 2022, there will be 9,444 Brainchip followers on Linkedin :)

I have been in a stoush with The Dean over at Hotcrapper because I am sick and tired over the manipulation of thought over there. It isn't just him/her but many others pushing and breaking boundaries of respect and decency. Right now I am happy to stir the pot and have little regard for the HC moderators and their biased agendas.
Perhaps as retribution for the mods over there I will publish here the posts I got modded for.

Then that post got modded. Perhaps I have had one nip of Laphroig too much, but then I couldn't help myself....

Remember my recent post combining the original statement by SiFive:

“Chris Jones, vice president of products at SiFive, said: “Employing Akida, BrainChip’s specialised, differentiated AI engine, with high-performance RISC-V processors such as the SiFive Intelligence Series is a natural choice for companies looking to seamlessly integrate an optimised processor to dedicated ML accelerators that are a must for the demanding requirements of edge AI computing.”

With the FACT that the SiFive Intelligence series is the SiFive X280.

Now your asking yourself did SiFive leave AKIDA in the X280 which would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself one question “Do I feel lucky?” 😂🤣😂🤡😎

My opinion only DYOR

AKIDA BALLISTA

PS: In answering this question remember according to SiFive using X280 with AKIDA Ai is the ‘natural choice’ so not to be using AKIDA would be unnatural.🤓

Hi FF,
Assuming that's true, does that mean Brainchip will need to get into licensing agreement?(and if yes, does it have to be announced to the market?) How would the fee flow through to Brainchip?

Here is another thought I want to share.

So why did NASA didn't choose Intel or AMD for future CPU applications but choosing an new boy in town; SiFive!

Well, could it be because this?

So, NASA has been dealing with Brainchip through VAROGO for the last two years. As we know, Akida IP is scalable. So it is versatile, and adaptable with other company technology. Most important, NASA can see the importance of neuromorphic computing is the future of computing!

Recently, NASA want to upgrade their future computing and realised only SiFive is adapting (partnership) with Brainchip and not the other two. And SiFive is open source, so it's free for developers do experiments with, and the importance of neuromorphic computing (Akida IP). Hence, it's had persuade NASA decision on SiFive for their CPU direction. (my opinion)

Just an opinion of a drunk tradie, who has no technical expertise in computing. Cheer 🍺🍺🍺

Now please put your lecturer hat back on and give me the formula for the share price at 31 December 2022 😃

I had not something to do with the TMH/HC company for a while so I am trying to unravel as best I can. Is Dean a paid HC/TMH employee and has the ability to moderate? I don't know him but if so what value is there in responding to dean and TMH? I don't understand it but I am not sure if it is important that I understand it. I simply assume that TMH does not deserve a click. And who can't part with mama moderator TMH for financial reasons can't be helped anyway. Do they still advertise with four year old user numbers?

I've put "check 9444 linkedin brn followers and buy @JK200SX a beer at the next agm".
Now if JK can mathematically calculate using that Julian code formula the sp at 31st December i will buy 3 jugs of beers for the Tse tables after the agm (coopers seems to be peoples fav?) .
No pressure there JK 🤣

Came across this article from February. Is it possible Intel is using us through the Sifive intelligence IP??

SiFive Partners with Intel to Innovate High-Performance RISC-V Platforms

February 7, 2022

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 7, 2022 — SiFive, Inc., the founder and leader of RISC-V computing, today announced the company will support Intel Foundry Services (IFS) innovation fund’s goal to build innovative new RISC-V computing platforms optimized for Intel process technology. The $1B Intel fund will support the creation of disruptive technologies to address modern computing challenges, with the Intel-SiFive collaboration aiming to extend the RISC-V ecosystem. Compute blocks in future silicon chips, optimized for specific classes of workloads, require a vibrant market of semiconductor IP that is further enabled by SiFive’s leading RISC-V processor IP optimized and available to customers of IFS. The open nature of the RISC-V instruction set architecture creates freedom to innovate, with specifications and extensions developed by expert contributors from leaders in the semiconductor industry, research institutions, and academia.

SiFive is also a proud member of the newly launch IFS ecosystem alliance, IFS Accelerator. SiFive will enable IFS customers to create computing platforms featuring RISC-V, optimized for their market applications. Intel’s broad portfolio of IP compliments the SiFive portfolio of performance-driven processor IP such as the SiFive Intelligence and SiFive Performance families of processor IP. Recently, SiFive introduced the SiFive Performance P650 processor, the fastest commercially available RISC-V CPU, intended for performance-driven markets including automotive, client computing, data center, mobile, and other applications. For more information on SiFive and IFS Accelerator – IP Alliance, please read our blog here.
