These high-performance computers are at the core of the new unified architecture. They can control important sensors and also reliably calculate highly complex tasks. Only with them will highly automated driving at Level 4 become possible, which will take passengers comfortably along the highway, for example. For this, algorithms are needed that can learn themselves and act as artificial intelligence in the vehicle.

Only with such a lean, new electronics architecture will vehicles truly become rolling computers. "The platform will be easy to update – frequently and with little customer interaction," says Alf. That's because, instead of having to check the software of dozens of ECUs for errors and update them all individually, in the future only adjustments to the software developed by CARIAD will be necessary. Developers will then be able to upload new functions and error solutions to the vehicle at short intervals. And drivers will only need a few minutes to install them.

Hurricane-Resistant Drone​

According to a study that was published in Science Robotics, the five-pound drone can recalculate the meteorological conditions around it five times per second and adjust its course smoothly.

All About The Neural-Fly​

The neural network can be pre-trained by scientists using a meta-learning technique, requiring only updating a few essential parameters to adapt to the changing environment accurately.

The drones outfitted with Neural-Fly learned how to react to severe winds so successfully that their performance considerably increased after only accumulating 12 minutes of flight data.

In comparison to drones that are currently on the market and do not use neural networks, studies have thus far shown that the mistake rate is 2.5-4 times lower, according to E&T.

The group has also demonstrated how to share flight data collected by one drone while another drone is responsible for creating a database of information for autonomous vehicles.

Caltech's engineers claim that since the drone is only an enhanced version of a standard drone rather than a completely new design, the system may be easily marketed and extended to various robots and aircraft.

Exactly right.
Seems that some of us have an unhealthy obsession/fear of shorters. Even the biggest companies have short sellers of their shares.

So, some investors (shorters) have a different view to others (longs)……..so what??
Currently, BRN has ~5% shorts. Or….. 95% long.

Personally, I have no problem seeing the open shorts numbers increasing. Thing is, they will all need to close at some point.

Looking at Brainchips global listing's and were we finnished...

BRCHF ,
Closed @ $0.77 USD, -4.64%
Then in after hours trading someone bought 25,000 units @ $0.81 USD.( equivalent of $23,490.00 AU).

After hours finnished up +5.19% , still on low volume 165,700 units.

This is the first after hours trade I have noticed on BRCHF.

Tradegate ,
€0.76 , -4.16% , roughly €911,000.00 value on 1,206,514 volume.
Best volume / value for some time.

It is going to be a very exciting week ahead, good luck all and remember ..... drink responsibily.

Artificial intelligence company BrainChip teamed with vision technology company Prophesee to deliver next-generation platforms for OEMs seeking to integrate event-based vision systems with high levels of AI performance coupled with ultralow power technologies. The partnership pairs BrainChip’s neuromorphic Akida processor with data from Prophesee’s neuromorphic-based camera sensor to process inference.

Industrial automation company Balluff expanded its technology team at its Veszprém, Hungary, location and plans to open a new office in Budapest. The new location will serve to further its collaboration with nearby universities. The office is planned to be ready by August 2022.

Smart Vision Lights received patent number US 11,328,380 B2 for its latest machine vision light innovation, the DoAll Light. That sounds like a pretty big problem, Intel had a lot of trouble, just getting 7nm right..

They are definitely pushing the boundaries, it remains to be seen, how many issues the "good" chips will have, in the real World..
