First of all, we came across Continental via the photo of the cockpit or display in the Nviso presentation. There has been a large order for the display in 2021 that covers the entire cockpit width. None of us knows from whom the order came. Here it was assumed that it could be MB.

Today I came across another display that immediately reminded me of Continental.

A quick glance and it seems clear that the next billion-dollar order has been placed.

My point is that Conti might supply MB
and BMW with displays and integrated computers, so both. The comment about VW is also interesting. Where Continental gets the circuit boards with the chips from I don't know yet. About the EQXX there is a clear indication that the display with the computer and our IP
may have been developed in cooperation with Continental. I just want to suggest that with maybe MB and BMW and speculatively VW I assume that Conti should be the spot of our research, not MB itself.
I have no idea whether Conti is working with Nviso.
I have no idea whether Conti commissions boards with chips and Akida IP for the EQXX.
I only firmly suspect that MB with the EQXX did not carve our IP into the chip itself. All of them can be supplied. This is still old Germany and not Tesla.
Of course, some tries to keep their secret sauce a secret. But the German car OEMs would not be able to survive without the suppliers, that's just the old system. At the moment, I simply cannot imagine that MB developed and ordered the board with our IP directly, but via a T1 like Conti. I'm willing to be convinced that they have all the competences in house like Tesla, but I won't bet on it. They won't change direction that quickly.
Of course, I think Nvidia is involved. But at what point does our IP for the EQXX get added? Can MB protect the integration for themselves? I suspect not. If the development were to take place with Conti, one would suspect that the reach or market coverage would be much greater than just through one OEM. Countless parts come from the same suppliers for different OEMs. Exclusivity is rather the exception, or at least it was. Of course, mostly adapted to their own specifications. But I can imagine a modular system.
Maybe you can help me with this...
All just my speculation and assumption
