BRN Discussion Ongoing

Have not read the announcement you have put up but this issue was raised over in the other place and I spent quite a bit of time on the fact that mining companies have their own disclosure requirements under the ASX Rules and so before drawing a comparison between what a mining company releases and any other ASX listed company you need to check.

Best to compare oranges with oranges and apples with apples. But I would challenge anyone to find an orange to match the Brainchip orange or apple. They cannot exist if the reason we are invested in Brainchip is because it is so revolutionary and first in the world.

Mining companies are also not usually working with the Departments of Defence of multiple allied countries or NASA and the European Space Agency and subject to secrecy laws and things like treason not to mention just straight out NDA's.

The whole argument around what a technology company like Brainchip if it is accepted that they have a technology revolution in the form of AKIDA technology and its future iterations should be announcing breaks down when you compare them with companies selling sausages made with a secret recipe, or a gold miner digging for gold, or a shoe company selling its summer range they cannot in any way shape or form be judged by the standards of these businesses.

If shareholders do not understand this then they need to do a whole lot more research about what it is that Brainchip has developed and is selling around the World.

You cannot sit on the fence worrying about whether they have taken adequate measures to protect the intellectual property underpinning AKIDA then complaining because they run a tight ship with most of their work being opaque to your gaze.

It is just that simple.

I feel like such an old soul sometimes on days of frustration like this. I, like everyone else in this amazing community would love a positive announcement to drop at any second. I also remember the days of longer attention spans and people who didn't feel a compulsion for instant gratification.

It's only been two months since news of Brainchip working with Mercedes and ISL came about. Sixty days. That's how long I go between haircuts. I have a true belief in this company and am in this for the long haul. What substantial information could you hope to get from a media release by Brainchip, that is going to appease your current company doubts if they have to dance around NDAs and ASX requirements.

I just plucked the following technology driven stocks and their share prices have also been falling. Is this because Brainchip management has not made announcements or is this just a coincidence? Tech stocks in the USA and Europe are also retreating is this also the fault of Brainchip management?

SOR, PLY, LNU, AXE, 4DS, RAD.

I know the Ukrainian Russian war and nuclear threats have nothing to do with it because of the in depth analysis that has been applied here today.

Brainchip's management team have a great deal to answer for and should be held to account not just by the shareholders of Brainchip but by all the shareholders of tech companies around the world. How could they let this happen when all they have to do is make up something to announce. Such scandalous behaviour.

I wonder if they are the cause of the fall in all my biotechnology stocks? Could be as it has the word technology in its title that might be enough such is the devastating effect of Brainchip on the markets.

That cannot be right because and intelligent investor told us it had been four months since any announcement. Surely an intelligent investor could not be so wrong a second time he posts here? Then again maybe he is just opposed to letting the facts get in the way of his agenda.

I'm Spartacus!
I'm not interested in sugar hits.
Ok, so we get a bounce for a few days, and then without more of the same we drift down again.
Great for traders I suppose.
Saw this behaviour at SOR......:) There must be a name for this.....saw....sor...:)
Then, it requires continual fluff announcements to keep pumping between "real" announcements, all the while becoming somewhat of a joke in the investment community.
Would much rather our companies present tack, so that when we do release "real" news, the market, salivating profusely, gobbles up everything it can get.
The market is so primed that even a mention of us in a concept car by a world renowned co like Merc, shoots us to outrageous heights.
Imagine the rerate we will get when we announce a Samsung or an LG, followed up by another from a Ford or Nasa or a deal with Nanose.
I'm glad the Company is keeping it real.
It goes a long way towards inspiring and reinforcing confidence and showing big players that we are a serious Company with a solid foundation and ready to mix it with the big boys.
As much as it is uncomfortable at the moment, think this sets us up much better in the longer term.
GLTAH.....just my opinion. :)

I wonder if the happy squad here will be still saying everything good here when we hit $0.80,Management are doing shareholders no favavour, same bullshit answers, one well timed announce the would have seen us included into the ASX2OO and our share price still between $1.80 to $2.50. But they chose to feed us to the shorting dogs!!!. My theory and I stick to it is a reverse takeover by ARM Aussie share holders will be ripped off again and the blind here will be left saying WTF. Seen it before trust no one when it comes to money. Silence in this case is the enemy and management are playing shareholders like fools.
My take on the current share price: see Ozark Series 4, episode 4 @ 17 minutes onwards - business as usual.

Yep, totally - if you're not planning on selling in the very near future then ignore the share price, unless you're looking to add to your holdings at a more attractive price than 'yesterday'. Small bites, dollar cost average.

It's still speculative and will behave as such until revenue starts to flow in (then investors will know for sure that big things are happening out there and will want part of the action)..... I prefer to ride the uncertainty to maximise potential gains before the herd rushes in - be comfortable with being uncomfortable and exercise patience Grasshopper.

😯 what kind of watch, Pateck Philippe ? 😏😎
Yes a vintage Calatrava.
Has been a thirty year dream. Selling some shares once we achieved and held $1.00 was a promise I made to myself. Even so I struggled with selling and gave myself a stern talking too and pushed sell at $1.41.

The share price will recover and I will have not sold as many to achieve the dream so the present irrational retreat has a tiny silver lining for me.

I want to buy it in Europe or the UK and I will either do it when travel normalises or task my son who lives there with the assignment. After all he will get it when I shuffle off. Fortunately he likes classic wrist watches.

Managements job is not to deliver a steady stream of announcements in order to keep the SP buoyant. They are there to run the company, deliver the tech to the market and continue to develop future iterations of AKIDA. Our customers and EAP's are the heavy hitters in their respective industries, these things take time. Our SP will follow the success of the company.

Step back and ask what's changed? for me nothing, there is no new competition, our cash position remains strong and we are continuing to drive forward and expand our reach and our team. I will continue to hold thank you.

Great news for Brainchip and its recruiting campaign. Sad for those being displaced and not taken up by Brainchip.

Never fear however I read recently Intel was looking to add 11,000 engineers and Nvidia 3,000(? I think.)

It does seem that way you would like to think there would be more support for this Australian tech company but no not in this country.

Hi Foxdog,

It's not speculative as far as Renesas, Mercedes, MegaChip, Socionext, TSMC, NaNose, ... are concerned.

Applicants for SBIR grants from NASA see the inclusion of Akida in their submissions as a positive, although where they got the idea that NASA was in love with Akida I couldn't possibly comment.

The players on the ASX only understand digging holes.

I'm not a fan of the run-of-the-mill drug cartel mini-series, but Ozark is the Dad's Army of the genre.

Heard about an interview by an NZ radio station of Ian Lavender (Pike in Dad's Army):

Shame about James Beck (Walker),
How's Arthur Lowe? - He's dead
Clive Dunn (Cpl Jones)? - Dead
John Laurie (Frazer)? - Dead
Arnold Ridley (Godfrey)? - Dead
John Le Mesurier? - Dead

Are you going to make another series?

Bit of adversity before the next take off.

I know people wouldn’t be complaining if the share price was hovering above $1.20.
Myself personally when we were around 0.70c and when we went under 0.50c and as low as 0.37c I accumulated an extra 20,000 units, despite all the negative comments that the company wasn’t doing enough. I’ll be doing the same now whether it’s 0.90c or 0.60c, and I’ll be having the last laugh when those same people who complain today about the company not doing enough lie in bed in months to come saying “I wish I bought more shares when it went back under $1.

Maybe some people only have BRN in their watch list and are oblivious to everything else that’s going on in the sector? And the world?

If you truly believe in the company and have followed the timeline put out by the company, & 2022 being the year that revenue comes in from IP licensing and the full commercialisation of Akida, the expected hiring of an extra 30 people by years end, the quadruple office space despite having no revenue, the finishing of AKD2000, expected contracts in 2022 and beyond, the comments from Mercedes about akida being 5-10 times more efficient than anything else out there, then the current prices are a bargain IMO, you’ve got to be blind or cannot control your emotions if you can’t see where this company is going in the months and years to come!
