I am on wife no 2 … and haven’t told her about todays purchase … if I did … I would be looking for wife no 3 🤣🤣🤣
I think I'd need BET up around $1.50 to afford wife number 2.

We got absolutely slaughtered today, down 15% for no reason...I can't keep doing this and today was it, I pulled the pin. :( I was in from $1.20 last year and have had to cut my (substantial) losses. I'll come back, but not right now, the market is FAR too negative and I'm swimming against the tide.

Fair enough - Westy bailed too.
It looks like a lot of the selling lately has been investors bailing because shorts haven't been that high.

Remember when ’glossy’ bailed out and then came back in when it went to .85-.90 as he said it was a good entry………..wonder if he got out again!

I don’t have the mentality/inclination to be a trader………..I just research a company/market that interests me and once I understand the financials/management/growth opportunities/competitors……then I will put my money down for the longterm.

I don’t hold many stocks as I think holding 30+ stocks (just for diversification) is too much work for me to research properly…….so currently I just have 4 stocks.

I do look at what others have in their stock disclosures to see if they interest me (like your PNV stock).

…..anyway, lets see what today brings! 😎🐎
I’m a born salesman and got the green light from wife number 1. I told her it was the last time at .495. I’m nervous to pull the trigger because is my last throw and will be just about doubling my holding. Someone please talk me off the ledge.

Yeah I'm similar.
Downturns don't last forever and turnarounds can be quick and easily missed.

I will sell if something with the company changes that I don't like though.

But everything seems to be going well. New contracts being signed. LinkedIn shows more people being hired. Insiders have paid way more than current SP.

Lots of shorts to be bought back. But I'm wondering if they got a lot yesterday. Will see in a few days.

Thanks Winston. So hard to know when to go. Volume low today. What’s stopping them dumping massive volumes tomorrow. I’m more scared of my wife than losing the money. Think that’s an oxymoron

The ‘glare’ that the wife gives off can really dampen the excitement of topping up the BET holding!!!
Nothing a pair of dark glasses and a crash helmet won’t fix !!

Teddy … I will change from Churchill to Buffet … buy with fear , sell with cheer … and anotherWarren chestnut … the sharemarket in the short term is a voting machine , but in the long term it is a weighing machine etc etc etc 💵💵💸💸💰💰💰💰

Ok Team. I did it at .315. I would have dearly loved to close there to help have a restful sleep. It’s hard to sleep when you know your wife is capable of superb knife 🔪 work in the kitchen.

….just don’t go into the kitchen! 😎

I thought the other day that anything below .40 was a solid investment……and nothing has changed my mind.
Given Paradise were paying around $0.93 and Tripp paid $0.70 and Todd paid $0.62 I thought that most prices we have seen this year have been pretty good! Never thought until recently it would get below $0.50. But given the international worries its not surprising. I think BET will be a pretty good bet long run though - so many industries are going to struggle whereas I'm very confident our revenues will continue to grow quickly.

Costs of latte’s are going up Larry ! .. what is the teams view on whether BET will be cashflow positive for the June quarter ? Or is the consensus that growth expenditure will still be higher than revenue ? Hopefully they can hit a $30mill revenue quarter ?

Cashflow positive for June Qtr?…..it will be close!……BetMakers software and hardware would be complete now following the incorporation of the Sportech systems……….therefore we just roll it out to new customers…..this is why our gross margin is up to ~74%.

Capital expenditure will be required for new betting terminals and additional hardware to ensure speed of processing and maybe a third data centre like the ones we have in NJ and Europe………we will also have an increase in IT staff costs as we win new customer contracts………I believe revenue will flow in faster then what we can spend it.

We will raise a toast 🥂 when we hit $30M this quarter!!!

Larry……to save money to invest in BET……drink black coffee!! ☕
I don't drink coffee I sell it, well my namesake does anyway.

Aren't they using AWS in NJ and Europe?
That's what I've read anyway which is great. So no hardware DC costs. It's opex and can scale up pretty much instantly and you just pay for what you use

Great news! Add $62 billion to the revenues then! Must have picked it up from Bezos then with one click shopping 🤣

Thanks to all the team getting me over the line yesterday. To add 70% on top of my already held shares. What a great opportunity to average down and really fly the flag 🙏🏻 Much Love

Ok, poorly worded on my part……i’ll take that…..but you know what I was trying to say, that we own the infrastructure and have the IT people to use AWS in house, which gives us the ability to scale up as required. 😎🐎
Yep I know what you mean, only having a laugh. I hope they are using AWS everywhere really. I have a lot of experience with it and to get the same reliability in your own DC that you can build cheaply with it costs a hell of a lot and has a lot more risk.

Well said Lazza.. I hope the drought in Brazil is not knocking your business around too much … you might have to go easy on the double shots !

A little surprised that with the large volume traded lately that there hasn’t been any change to the major shareholders holdings ??

I do wish they would consider a buyback. If we put the $25M from Tripp into a buyback if we were able to get the shares at an average of $0.40 then we would profit $7.5M which would go someway to covering the extremely generous $15M we are giving him to hold his shares for 3 years.
I saw Nooks is advocating for this too.
