August Cohen has built a whole persona around confidently predicting things that never happen. Last week he was swearing up and down the peace deal was locked in. Now he’s shifting the goalposts again. Let’s be real—he talks like he’s in the room, but half the time he’s just guessing with swagger. Personally, I think he’s full of shit.

This is a bit misleading. Musk didn’t just drop $44 billion in cash. He contributed around $26 billion of his own money—mainly by selling Tesla shares. He also pulled in about $6 billion from outside investors like Larry Ellison, a Saudi prince, and the Qatar sovereign wealth fund. The rest—roughly $13 billion—came from bank loans, secured against Twitter itself, meaning Twitter (not Musk) is on the hook for that debt. So no, he didn’t just whip out a cheque for $44 billion.

All of that said, I don’t really give a flying proverbial where the money comes from—so long as we get paid. My preference is Rio Tinto, but it can be Kobol, the Chinese, or Santa Claus for all I care. I invested in a lithium mine, not a corruption factory. Let this fucking country be someone else’s problem.

Yeah it was a bit of a spray and pray on the explorers for a while there.

There were a couple weeks straight where everything was going up 10% a day and I just couldn't stay out... can't wait for that cycle to start up again as we approach the end of the decade, let the instos position, then hype it up for retail as usual.

August blocked me on Twitter for calling out his Trump Derrangement Syndrome.

But he clearly knows more than most and is very clued into African mining from an American perspective. I don't see any reason why he's not saying what be beleives is the truth from a mining regard.

Some of @Dave Evans posts/threads were deleted yesterday by a user named Yathoughtyaseenme after threats were made. Luckily @Hudnut and others have backed up Dave's posts and threads. Here's what we're up against here...

This poster has been systematically deleting posts and threads for weeks. Some posters will consider this off topic but it is a clear threat to this entire site. @zeeb0t is asleep at the wheel & no longer moderating any posts.
This "person" has multiple user accounts and has made threats/doxxed other users on TSE.

Its like popcorn in the pan, anything can pop at any moment, any explorer that discovers a resource gets a bump (havent looked at if KAI are drilling) but given how SUPER depressed lithium is right now if I was accumulating (which I am not until AVZ sorts itself out), I would be buying undervalued producers like PLS (DYOR not advice just opinion).

That said if US is serious about a non-china supply chain, I would also look towards James Bay area in Canada over WA.

Does anybody have the ability to remove or delete and comment or post they want? How the hell does this work? This thread becomes unreadable, what sort of security does this site have that posts are deleted on a whim? What happened to the idea behind this site that got people to move here from HC?
