I asked that question a year ago.
Somebody reminded me that he complained that this thread was a little too chatty and light.

He ran the Short Term Trading thread on the crapper for a few years. It was really professional and absolutely brilliant, so maybe he's just a serious guy. Fair enough.

His total absence, apparently, from all threads doesn't look good though.
Hope he comes back, he's been missed.

What happened to "Free....." cant remember his full handle, but he was an AVZ holder and big on the crapper and I think he posted here at the start too, was also on Twitter/X....he seemed to vanish from all platforms shortly after our suspension??

Free is a very smart and respectable guy .A very successful investor . We both had a good ride with KDR .

Funny how yaseen and j19 tried to bring in Freehold as if he’s who @wombat74 is referring to

j19 was originally Oreally who changed his profile after flip flopping his opinions and posting negative comments about AVZ.

Later he changed his profile pretending to be a German psychologist who supposedly wanted to put his nephew through an expensive school and used the profile name Shemozzle. Then he continued posting negative and hysterical comments about AVZ during periods when AVZ was being attacked by Boatman, the AFR and Omni Bridgeway.

Then he returned as Yaseen and now has a fourth profile called j19. He is currently switching between Yaseen and j19

On twitter his profile was Barn75Barn until he was suspended for posting racist and hate comments and vile images before returning to X as @hibaggywaggys

By the way mate, I’ve got screenshots of every post you’ve made going back to your twitter photo’s of the devil and a whole lot more. Hope you get those millions for your day in court

US shifting Africa strategy to 'trade, not aid', envoy says​

U.S. envoys in Africa will be rated on commercial deals struck, not aid spent, a senior State Department official said, touting it as the new strategy for U.S. support on the continent.

President Donald Trump's administration wants to eliminate trade deficits, and drive mutual prosperity, African Affairs senior bureau official Troy Fitrell said, according to remarks shared on Thursday.

"Assistance involves a donor and a recipient, but commerce is an exchange between equals," he added at the launch of the policy in Ivory Coast on Wednesday.

U.S. ambassadors in Africa had already shepherded 33 agreements worth $6 billion in Trump's first 100 days, Fitrell said.

"Trade, not aid, a slogan we’ve seen thrown around for years, is now truly our policy for Africa."

U.S. goods exports to sub-Saharan Africa amount to less than 1% of total U.S. trade, according to U.S. think-tank the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Despite Trump's aggressive spending cuts, Washington has pledged a $550 million loan for the Lobito rail corridor, a shortcut for copper and cobalt from Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo to Angola's Atlantic port, bypassing China-controlled routes.

The U.S. is keen to counter both Chinese and Russian influence on the continent, particularly over minerals and trade.

In one of China's latest deals on the continent, a $652 million loan agreement was agreed with Nigeria through the Exim bank for a highway feeding the new Lekki port and Dangote refinery.

The U.S. has set six targets to be met before the next U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit later this year, the envoy said.

They include to make commercial diplomacy a core mission, push priority countries to enact business-friendly reforms and back "bankable" infrastructure not "vanity projects".

It also wants to embark on more business-only diplomatic trips, match export-ready U.S. firms with African ventures and overhaul financing tools to offer faster and more risk-tolerant blended funding.

Yeah he was called the sheriff. He never made his way over here IIRC, at one stage I made picture of the batsignal with a steamroller in it and he didn't get the joke...
