A ruling is much much much further away than 82 days, thats just when the trial starts.... Right?
Chinese are well renouned for settling on the courtroom steps on the first day of court, bunch of cunts really.
So I think most expect this is when a settlement will happen.

However there's serious movement at the station with the current events we're hearing and seeing, stay tuned IMO.

I hope you are right Azzler and US accept Minerals for Security offer by DRC
With no incentive for the DRC army to put their lives at risk are surrending to M23.
Question is .
Will the US allow China to dominate the critical minerals that the DRC has ?
If no then will see acceptance of the offer .
Otherwise China will be buying from Rawanda.
What a stuffed up world we live in .
Sorry for the negativity Deboss.

It’s on hotcrapper if anyone wants to read. Pretty big in my books. Certainly puts pressure on and creates urgency.

Neither was I! Just good timing :)

I was thinking about recent shared info, such as DRC offer to the USA, and pictures of our Management in the USA recently.

hang on, so how is settling for just the south an improvement? If that's what happens then how the fk has America's involvement in any way helped?

I am waiting now for CATL to just step in and swallow the whole thing before US can actually take any action; make a big boy offer to AVZ, then tell Zijin to fk off.

America has done little thus far in DRC to erode China's hold on critical mineral channels, and in the last few years hasn't stepped in to support AVZ in its battle. Why would they now? Even if this deal does go ahead, which I doubt, America is supposedly to be offered to opportunities to exploit and export minerals. Why would they aid a Chinese-backed and Chinese-partnered company like AVZ, whose critical mineral offtakes are all headed to China? How does that help them gain control of the flow of these resources?

I guess there is some potential that they could swoop in and prevent our need to partner up with CATH, to somehow support the Americans instead and partner up to send our uncontracted offtakes back to the states, but we're just a little fish in a big pond. They don't need us, and I'd be careful what we wish for. Also, I have strong doubts over what will come out of this DRC-US partnership offer in any case, given US failures in the past to counteract China in the DRC and its current unwillingness to get involved in external conflicts

@Roon how about them apples.

meanwhile EU has flushed a few billion € down the drain through Northvolt. Would have been better off using that money to secure the minerals you need to make batteries rather than trying to jump to the end product.

$50 Billion, USD.

But I think we're in a good position legally to get fair value, what ever that may be.
