LoL . This reads like a bunch of Bull Sh1t .

“The AFP can confirm a search warrant is being executed at a West Perth business premises this week, 6 December, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation,” a spokeswoman for the Federal Police said. “There is no current or impending threat to the community." LOL
Yeah, maybe somebody made a phone call.
From Beijing.

GPT generated answer:
The Australian Federal Police (AFP) can investigate crimes related to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), but their involvement typically focuses on serious criminal offenses such as corporate fraud, insider trading, market manipulation, and other financial crimes that may have a national or international dimension.

However, not all offenses related to the ASX fall under the AFP's jurisdiction. For example, routine breaches of securities laws or corporate governance issues are primarily handled by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). ASIC is the key regulatory body responsible for enforcing financial regulations and investigating misconduct in the securities and financial markets.

In some cases, the AFP and ASIC may work together, especially in complex investigations involving criminal activity like large-scale fraud or organized market manipulation.

Very concerned.

From the article it seems like they visited earlier in the week as well. Wild it’s the first time we hear of it. Always seems bad news for this company is delivered on Friday night in some form.

Just another footnote in the never ending saga of the AVZ epic.

Yeah, maybe somebody made a phone call.
From Beijing.
I was surprised CarrotDick didn't show up at the AGM, but sent their legal representative.

It was pretty obvious Zijin and cohorts would try another below the belt trick, after they found out AVZ got funding to carry on, just before the AGM.
Too much money and power involved for China to not try another trick.
AFP has to investigate a complaint.

The Chess game continues.
If they can't win the ICC or ICSID case, how about getting the AFP involved.
Don't forget Australia can sell Rock Lobsters into China again.

Ever considered who Tommy the twat informed about the AFP raid?

I can guarantee you, it wasn't the AFP, so funny that Tommy shows who his connections are, but we have known that all the time anyhow.
Nothing new there.

Have you ever heard of SWATTING? Psychopaths do it to streamers, business enemies or innocent victims all the time. It's not hard to do anonymously.

You call in a bomb threat, threat to national security or worse and the feds are obligated to investigate. You don't think after everything we have seen from the Chinese, they wouldn't stoop this low to rattle people or threaten the BOD?

What is the threat that they are investigating?

have to feel for the employees of avz, the shit that they have gone through, absolutely unbelievable. The worse part, the australian government just sits idly by and lets it happen.

That would explain this bit: "“There is no current or impending threat to the community."

yeah that line really jumped out to me. Very curious wording for what I assume is intended to look like a white collar crime investigation.

I swear someone who lives in Sydney (or wherever they film Q&A) should go on the show and if brave enough to be on TV, should ask the question on how the Australian Government is happy to sit by and watch 20,000 Aussies potentially lose their investment.

I am not that person (I would freeze and blubber my way through it) but there are some very eloquent and knowledgeable people here that could do it justice.

Agreed; pretty obvious that the grubs are in cahoots with the distractors and they’re running out of angles to shoot from. I found it odd that a couple of DRC X accounts started to post about the Marius story again after all this time and the $20m escrow too within the last week ; Cominiere basically trying jigsaw the $20m escrow and the $15m from Locke together with a few of his posts over the last week or so … and then all of a sudden we have this…..the johnbrown handle on X was already tweeting about $20m within lightening speed of the inital post about the raid on X… pretty obvious to me what’s happening here

$20m goes missing and AVZ finds $15m is what Cominiere is trying to get people musing about … the idiot doesn’t seem to acknowledge that there’s a cast iron paper trail to cover where the Locke funding comes from. The $20m went missing imo to try and prevent any chance of AVZ saying ‘fuck it ; let’s just take back the escrow money / pass back the 15% and fight with that cash’; well that didn’t happen and we sourced from Locke

There was number of X posts over the last week going on about how Marius received 1 or 2 million from the up to $4/$5m … from memory this was a mix of payment and payment through shares and no doubt a success fee trigger.. but again don’t let that remove the drama from a story .. instead they’ve gone from paid corrupt negotiator to a negotiator that got ripped off 🙄

What’s happening here imo is these scum bags are on a final drive to close down funding avenues ; as mentioned here, they had one of there legal guys at the AGM taking it all in no doubt ; they obviously know we’re looking to raise more operational cash ; but drama like this obviously disturbs this

Can only assume it’s Fattail , so the likes of Carrick & his 50m+ shares and being able to spruik to the AFP that they’re a major holder would have put weight behind Fat tails demands for an investigation … as before he had nothing apart from PHs 3-4m free shares and would likely have been asked ‘why does it concern you’

DLA already looked into the Marius thing and in the end gave it the green light and that’s been printed in black and white in a number of articles in the past . The $20m only had access by a DRC lawyer in the DRC in a DRC bank 🙄 . The Locke cash … well it’s from a litigation fund which was negotiated using DLA piper .

These clowns know there’s very slim chance of success for their Chinese masters in arbitration … so they’ll have a crack at any other avenue they can find to try run us to ground . These guys must be on the brink or already in the zone of legal action being able to be taken against them ; but of course we aren’t in the position to do that currently . It certainly would be sweet seeing some karma being served here
