So i can confirm Katamba is refurbing the hydroplant. It is the typical DRC operational model, where everyone disagrees to the ownership of some asset, and Cominiere just does whatever the fuck they want........

In reality, I don't see an issue with Cominiere and Zijin jumping the gun and starting on the refurbishment - the entire issue is a line of dominoes in my view.

After we win the jurisdictional ICC challenge, all the other ones with ZJ then get withdrawn (Confirmed withdrawal if Arbitrator rules in our favour), i'd say we follow up to provide irrevocable evidence on collusion between Cominiere and Zijin.

All their fucking JVs imploding would be the next step i think (with the icc case, the evidence for collusion cannot be ignored). Then we just legally reclaim the hydroplant with whatever halfassed refurb those cunts already did.

Nagging in the back of my mind similar to the split for north, but its all irrelevant and just more noise to distract from the actual first domino.

That particular thread on X is good Frank as DRC Franck explains that Rose wasn't happy either with certain IGF recommendations not being followed in regards to their Cominiere investigation and spoke out about it, another good sign for us AVZ sufferers.

I have a gripe with the AGM, when a question gets asked by a shareholder and its not answered close to adequately (as we all know they all like to do) then FFS the next question has to be a follow up on the same question that was 'dodged'.

It boils my piss that we let the directors off the hook so consistently at these AGMs (not just AVZ). Us shareholders need to act more in unison.

Yes unfortunately it would seem so. Although this time we have a government minister on our side and Cominiere were dumb enough to join the committee for the refurbishment after not objecting to AVZ Power having the asset for over a year. Knowing CKK he probably still hasn't officially objected. Most likely we will need to pursue this within the DRC court system imo

It is as if Comminiere have some kind of assurance from above that they will be all good to go with their Chinese mates. Their total denial of the contracts in place is just bizzare. This power station has surely flown under the radar of AVZ. It would have taken weeks/months to carry out these works and required a significant workforce. Surely an update incoming - will make interesting reading ending with the initiation of another stalling ICC appointment. FMD this is testing on my sanity - can only imagine the BOD mental state! Hope you all have a fantastic day - try to think about something else.

I'm against a bonus full stop. Made that clear immediately. There are still plenty of performance rights on the table if ML is delivered soon. No fucking way do any of them deserve extra cash even if we started trading again tomorrow at all time highs.

Beyond belief they did this while talking about 'medium term' capital raises in suspension if still no ML before cash gets low. The notes said the bonus hasn't been paid yet so I'm willing to give them some leniency but I cannot envisage any scenario where they deserve another cent.

100% in agreeance, I was incensed when I read they had or are wanting to pay themselves a cash bonus' - they get paid when we get liquidity/tangible outcomes.
