They sure do. For example you used to think Dathomir still owned the 15% because you have zero understanding of contract law. Now you know that is complete bullshit LMAOThings change ...imo
Your AI did ok by me mate. I thought the 3 member panel thing was smelly but I wouldn't have thought of any escrow accounts or time bonuses, which makes perfect sense. You AI experts out there will no doubt find this funny, but for aspiring AI novices ... here is a trap to be aware of.
My question to Copilot ...
Because the following statement that you provided is in double quotes, I assumed that it is an actual full statement from a source that you found and listed. But it now appears that the statement with double quotes is the result of AI synthesizing. Is this last point of mine correct?
“Within two weeks of signing, the parties shall appoint a three-member independent valuation panel—one nominated by AVZ, one by KoBold, and one mutually agreed expert. The panel shall issue a fair-market valuation of AVZ’s relinquished interests in permit PR 13359, including verified sunk costs and strategic upside, to guide the compensation package.”
The Copilot answer ...
You’re correct. That exact, fully-quoted passage isn’t lifted verbatim from any publicly accessible document—it’s an AI-generated synthesis based on private summaries (e.g. AVZ’s internal Q&A memo excerpts and confidential arbitration newsletters). I apologize for presenting it in quotes without making that clear.
My next question ...
In the future if a statement is not lifted verbatim from a publicly accessible document, can you not enclose the statement in double quotes?
The Copilot answer ...
Absolutely. Going forward, I’ll reserve double quotes for verbatim excerpts from publicly accessible sources. Any AI-generated summaries or paraphrases will be presented without quotation marks and clearly labeled as such. Let me know if you’d like any other formatting adjustments.
Mate,I’ve been thinking about what CATH could do in the current situation.
I didn't forget that they voted against AVZ board, but business is business.
We are all so focused on how much we might get paid to drop the ICSID case, but what about the reverse? What if we get paid to keep ICSID open? With the “minerals for security” deal soon to be signed, it’s looking like Roche Dure can only go to an American company and KoBold seems to be the chosen one. So, if I were Mr. Pei from CATH, what would I do?
What if CATH offers to AVZ more money than KoBold—with the condition that ICSID continues until CATH’s interests are fully secured? How would that for CATH be any different from AVZ’s current position? It’s not—except CATH would have around $6 billion USD lessWe’d get paid by CATH, but keep pushing ICSID until CATH is satisfied. And with that money in our pockets, Nigel could finally relax on a beach while CATH and legal team go a few rounds with the Americans. CATH’s conditions might be something like:
1. If the mining licence is granted, AVZ sells the project to CATH for $1.
2. If CATH reaches a satisfactory agreement with the Americans, ICSID is dropped.
Mr. Pei could throw in a few more clauses, of course. The point is—KoBold hasn’t resolved the disputes and is actually operating in defiance of ICSID. This move could block the Americans while DRC still has the ICSID case hanging over its head, along with the risk of being exposed. Can a U.S. company really work with a government officially found guilty of corruption? We’re no longer selling a project—we’re potentially getting paid to drop ICSID. That says everything about how much of a problem it is for the DRC government and any American company trying to move into Manono. Something tells me CATH isn’t going to walk away quietly if their interests are sidelined. Maybe I should send Mr. Pei an emailI haven’t ordered Chinese food since this whole suspension saga began, but if we finally get what we deserve—I just might. Of course, the best outcome is KoBold paying a fair price. I just can’t help but imagining a scenario where some of us are on a beach, millionaires at last, while CATH, KoBold, the DRC government, and ZIJIN are fighting at ICSID. Now that would be a nice end to this horror story and definitely worthy of a movie.
You might find it funny, but I find it a fucking disgusting slur on everything AVZOff topic but a bit tongue in cheek for a Friday funny…
Anyone else in RNU? Progressing nicely. Has a couple of benefits compared to AVZ…..
- Not in DRC
- Sheep as neighbours not Chinese with brown paper snack bags
- CEO is allowed in same country as asset
- Listed and trading on the ASX
- Doesn’t have multiple legal battles underway
- Australian government is actually interested in supporting
That’s a good start, but they also have some graphite and maybe even uranium and copper![]()
I don't think you understood my post. There is $6 billion USD mentioned in my post, but anyway, I am just exploring options available to CATH, so we are not left only with KoBold’s offer. Maybe you were just sarcastic?Mate,
Whats wrong with you - AVZ is not going to be selling the Project for $1 (in my opinion)- stop low balling.
What you are suggesting is a poor outcome for those that bought in at the higher end.

Im not sure if this lengthy article has been posted already (ignore $ in the heading)There’s been no mention of CATH amongst the various odours I sniff on the winds but as is stated in various Announcements from the BoD, CATH's position is mentioned along with all shareholders as part of their efforts to gain a respectful outcome. (I didn’t get a mention though)
e.g.
it remains open to constructive dialogue with the parties, to agree a
suitable commercial outcome for AVZ shareholders, where its legal rights and
existing commercial relationships are respected
There could well be a lot of white noise going around to deodourise the atmosphere, and I wouldn’t rule them out entirely

If we pay these pricks a cent, I’ll be furious.A humorously iconic end to all this would be AVZ being paid out to go away, distributing everything to SH and winding up before paying any international taxes. Sorry, you want taxes paid? Unfortunately, we no longer have any funds, have to go to someone else with your hands out
(Yes, I'm aware it doesn't work like that)
Did i say that ,well one would ASSUME that could be on the cards...imoTolate son, I told you that we only pay 50 cents a post on Hot crapper. Don’t think you will get anything more for being here
Now fuck off back to where you are paid to work, there’s a good boy
And while I’m at it, I have to say the quality of the posts is getting worse. Don’t you have any other english words you could use?
