Just going a little further with that if the peace deal is signed say on the 16th then the Kobold/AVZ deal goes live pretty much immediately ie announced to the market on the 20th. Given AVZ is a public company ( albeit unlisted ) it will be required for shareholders to vote on the disposal of our principal asset. 75 % of the vote is required to pass the resolution and as far as iam aware AVZ have to give 21 days notice for an EGM to vote on the resolution ( sale agreement)Next week?
Edit: I'm guessing you may be getting expectation for next week from the anticipated date for the peace deal and minerals deal to be signed.
Peace agreement is expected to be signed on the week of June 15. June 15 is a Sunday and the US regards Sunday as the first day of the week. So I am interpreting this to mean that the expected date of signing to be within 15-21 June.
So we can immediately suspend the imminent ICSID arbitration case for another month.Just going a little further with that if the peace deal is signed say on the 16th then the Kobold/AVZ deal goes live pretty much immediately ie announced to the market on the 20th. If that is the case why was the ICSID only suspended to 23 June ??
Haha yeah i would have thought after the rolling suspensions after we were first suspended from asx and the never ending due diligence of the Locke deal the last thing Nigel would have wanted was to start rolling over the ICSID suspension. Maybe iam missing something here ?So we can immediately suspend the imminent ICSID arbitration case for another month.
Sorry it's Friday joke day.
Yeah that little bitch tendoji has completely lost the plot over on the crapper. He just doesnt understand that 99.9 % of the punters over there dont even read his dribble. He does always get one vote though and we all know who that tool is.@j.l
I’m watching him have a complete meltdown in his posts on X over the past few weeks.
We’re all "classless bogans" according to the messiah, who continually repeats what he sees as his moment of glory, after getting completely fucked over by Santa Klaus.
AND, he’s now back as tendoji on the crapper, whispering to the classless bogans on there too.
Thank fuck he’s no longer here, unless he’s the prick deleting all our posts.
Lets see what happens to this one
According to my search, don't think AVZ has to pass the vote by shareholdersHaha yeah i would have thought after the rolling suspensions after we were first suspended from asx and the never ending due diligence of the Locke deal the last thing Nigel would have wanted was to start rolling over the ICSID suspension. Ok thanks mate. Given the ICSID suspension date of 23rd that definately makes sense. Exciting couple weeks for sureAccording to my search, don't think AVZ has to pass the vote by shareholders
1. As a delisted company, it does not need to follow ASX rule
2. It's not mandatory as per ASIC rule or Corporate Law. Largely based on avz constitue or governance rules
3. AVZ 2019 constitute removed the clause. And don't believe Governance rule has mentioned it. Please refer to Avz website.
Of course AVZ Bod can call the EGM.
I am not sure whether it is 75% or a simple majority will do, if EGM does happen
That Shane is a piece of work I heard he hags out with Carrotdick and they dress up in ladies panties.@j.l

Not really, that long winded article is similar to many others recently and the partial claim settlement probably relates to the €39 million as Xerof said.Good pick up. Interesting language.
Partial claim settlement could mean a percentage of the $10b USD claim as you say. I would think it could also mean part of the claim settled now with part to be settled later (ongoing royalty?). Obviously we do not know the details yet, but interesting pick up for sure.
I heard a rumour that Shane is friendly with Michael Carrick and they dress each other up in ladies panties.@j.l

If the whole deal blows up, we can imminently proceed with the icsid. Or put new pressure on the parties. Seems like a reasonable approach to me to suspend just for the minimum time frame.Just going a little further with that if the peace deal is signed say on the 16th then the Kobold/AVZ deal goes live pretty much immediately ie announced to the market on the 20th.
