AVZ Discussion 2022

I perfectly understand the large amount of people who dont like Trump, that's cool and all, but as the man says...
STFU!!! Trump is our Daddy now, it looks like he has fucking saved our collective livelyhoods! So what in the fucking fuck of fucks are you talking about with your anti Trump bullshit?

Wasn't Jens just giving his thoughts on what price we should be prepared to accept a few days ago?

Not sure why he is willing to die this hill. Espousing the ICSID is a toothless tiger and we should be grateful get a fraction of value, essentially stolen by proxy.

Ill say it again, Fuck Trump, just because his agenda aligns with my investment does not mean I have to agree with him on anything or sing his praises. Did I mention fuck Trump? yeah fuck him and his war mongering neo-cons, and yep fuck Biden the senile child sniffer, and fuck Harris the batshit drunk bitch, fuck em all, they're all corrupt degenerate puppets to you know who. Wheres that list from his jewish mate Epstein btw? yerrrp, fuck these hypocrite clowns

The problem with Trump is people are programmed to hate him without knowing why or because of misinformation, which makes him very polarising. I think Trump is a bully, boisterous and quite arrogant\flamboyant but he is the most effective leader of the 21st century and I cannot argue against his results or the commonsense policy he has put in (Doge is a brilliant way to dismantle deepstate - take away their funding, Tarriffs worked, he has just killed it with the Saudis and may yet bring peace to the middle east AGAIN, also he is very very antiwar).

PS: The list was released by DOJ in February.

Trump and the Saudi crown prince signed an agreement covering energy, defence, mining and other areas.

I don't think price conversations help any but I really can't see them hurting any either. Not like a deal of this size will be disrupted by a few extremely minor shareholders. Management has asked us not to attack/insult anyone though which probably can hurt us a great deal - if the idea is to project unity and align all parties but we have discord across social media.

I think Trump has been a very useful idiot in this whole scenario. He's far from the shrewd negotiator which he claims himself to be. In fact it's well documented he'd be significantly richer if he'd put his daddy's money in bluechip stocks rather than building his empire. His complete lack of understanding of foreign economics has put the US in a quite desperate situation and that's where he's accidently come to our aid.

Zijin have never had reason to pay a fair price because the AVZ sale was an auction with only one bidder. They knew they could sit and wait it out without offering anything and they had all the time in the world. Now the US have come to the table, we have at least two interested parties. Now it's an actual event.

Hopefully Trumps desperation and negotiating skills will leads towards an acceptable outcome for holders, as long as they stroke his ego enough to keep his narcissistic side at bay.

I can't see people talking about price respectfully being an issue, and of course Kobold won't be deciding their offer based on random people's online price discussions. I'm sure everyone has a true price in their heads they would be happy with.
I don't think it's helpful or respectful these people online who are apparently "in the know" barking at people online to not speak about prices. We have been through the ringer and put our financial future on the line. Surely someone with 4 followers on x saying he would like $12 usd is not going to affect any outcome in anyway.

No lol

That’s not the way company’s work

Not that we will get a vote as the requirement is a listing rule and not in AVZ’s constitution and we aren’t listed anymore

Hi Carlos

This issue of shareholder approval for selling the company's primary asset is interesting.

Noting that AVZ Minerals is no longer ASX listed, shareholder approval to sell PR13359 may/may not be required depending on what is written in the company's constitution. Unfortunately, the company's constitution is not a public document, and we shareholders have no automatic right to view it.

However, since AVZ was previously listed on the ASX where Listing Rule 11.2 governs the sale of a company's main assets...maybe that clause remains in the constitution. I don't know.

Cheers
F

Sorry, but the only reason why AVZ is alive and kicking is due to our BOD!!

Without their hardwork and perserverance in obtaining Locke funding which forced Caths hand to provide better terms, then we would all be completely fucked.

Post Cath funding, the irony is that its been the ruthless , corrupt rebel forces intrusions in the DRC that has prompted the equally corrupt FT to put his tail between his legs , cap in hand and beg the US for protection in lieu of a critical mineral deal.

Music to Trumps ears , situations fell right in his lap and AVZs for that matter too, game changer.

Trump / Kobold is just a mere opportunist benefactor ..........nothing more.

imo

*Speaking of CATH,

*I'm Curious to see what CATH do about Kobold / US coming to our rescue at the 11th Hr.

China / Cath want / need Lithium, LOTS and LOTS of Lithium

Not to mention what do they plan to do with the $6B

The Timing is Very interesting indeed

Let the Games begin

Ever since Kobold got involved with AVZ, Cominière has gone completely AWOL. Hopefully, we’re close to finally drying the ink on this saga, and everyone walks away with a fair value offer. Personally, I’d love to see Celestin and his crew do some jail time too — that would be the icing on the cake.

The only reason we needed funding is because the bod burned $70m in just two years while the company was suspended including paying themselves $1.5m a year

Incompetent financial management leading to a desperate deal doesn’t make them heroes imo
No arguments from me on that score ,never said our BOD were heroes, mistakes certainly have been made which i referenced many times in the past , but they have also done alot of things right too, the discovery of RD & CDL right thru to DFS / ML decree was first class and have kept us in the game when we needed them the most under extreme DAVID v GOLIATH circumstances.

Now AVZ hold all the cards, just need to play it wisely from here to obtain maximum benefit.........whatever that may be.

Personally, I’d love to see Celestin and his crew do some jail time too — that would be the icing on the cake.

I actually like Kobolds pragmatic approach to solving the situation... Cominiere/AVZ JV was 25/75. Cominiere somehow split off half the project and somehow formed a 60/40 JV with Zijin. So Kobolds framework involves Cominiere keeping the north with Zijin (and you would expect they are therefore completely out of the south), we agree to pause legal action and transfer remaining commercial interests to Kobold in exchange for a fair value amount taking everything into consideration. Kobold will develop the asset with all haste and act as a test case for US investment, singing the praises of doing business in the DRC, how safe/strong the US/DRC partnership is and prosperous for all parties. The only sticking point for us is the fair value compensation (which we can speculate on but Nige has been negotiating for a while so likely we should be happy - we know, they know, everyone knows what the options are if its not).

So then the real question becomes... why oh why are some shareholders so keen to torpedo any deals that we don't know the details of, muddy the waters with accusations and uncomfortable questions (that politicians will obviously want to distance themselves from when we now want them to step in and ease the way forward) and generally just throw a wrench in the works against their own interests? Really it only benefits China.

Chill for a few weeks and lets wait for announcements... twitter wars and bringing attention to things, may not be in our best interest right now. You can always take up the fight later if you feel you can make a difference.
